Rideshares can drop you off at Terminal 5, but they are not allowed to pick you up here. Therefore, we had to take the Airport Transit System (ATS) train from Terminal 5 to Terminal 2 to call an Uber. This was a bit confusing and inconvenient after landing, but the signage was clear enough to follow. We spent most of our time in Terminal 5 at the Delta Sky Club in Concourse M, located between Gates M14 and M11. It's excellent as far as Sky Clubs are concerned. I left a five-star review for it separately here on Yelp. Terminal 5 is big and is in a separate building away from the Terminal 1, 2 and 3 buildings, which is why you need to take the train between the buildings. Terminal 5 contains all the M gates, M1-M40.

I also loved how many different charging stations there were at every gate. We were on tarmac at one time departing to leave for like 1hr...and the recent time..we had to wait 1/2hr for "city of Chicago" to fix the broken gate bridge!! Whooooooo's coming from "city of Chicago" to fix the gate bridge?! Insane. TSA has somewhat gotten better.kudos to that. International Customs suck here. They are very strict! They had me go through customs for my chicken sandwich from Germany which the idiot customs officer thought it was pork. Didn't even ask me what it was but made me go through customs! What jerks. They will charge you fines for pork and fruits so empty your luggage before you get to customs. Dirty bathrooms. United Lounges are crowded all the time and closed.

This was a bit confusing and inconvenient after landing, but the signage was clear enough to follow. At O'Hare, you can only call a standard rideshare from Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Like other major airports, there are multiple pickup zones at Terminal 2. We used Zone 2E and had no problems, though it did take about 15-20 minutes to get matched with a driver and get into their car. Terminal 2 looks like the oldest terminal at O'Hare. It's actually slated to be demolished in 2029 to make way for the new O'Hare Global Terminal (OGT), which is expected to be completed by 2033. It's functional for now, but feels a bit like a time capsule.

Tight walkways, limited seating and few food options make this area a bit difficult to want to spend time in. I generally fly United so I'm used to the additional spaces in terminal 1 and 2. My travels this time had me in 3 and I'll think again before flying American because of the construction.

This airport is super busy but so pretty when you hit the Hall of Flags. The vaulted glass ceilings decorated with flags looking the same as it did in Home Alone, makes you want to run like they did in the movie lol They provide wheelchair service to/from the gate (thru your airline). From the gate is a lot easier than getting to the gate. It's a little disorganized and you can't get a chair from curbside, you have to walk to the service area by the big AA which defeats the purpose. They are rolling out a new automated wheelchair service with self driving chairs that will take you to gate but I don't suggest using them. They're very slow and stop anytime something blocks you or crosses your path. I saw some people just kinda stopping and going and turning in circles continuously. It takes you like 30+ minutes to get to a gate. Ohare is WAY too busy for these things to get you somewhere fast. Plus not sure what happens if you need to stop at a store or restroom. Use the attendants who are friendly, helpful, and know how to navigate around people and leave them a nice tip!

The room itself has all the needed amenities and was clean so that was appreciated.
