While…read morethere is currently some construction going on, it still manages to feel small, efficient, and easy to navigate compared to many larger airports. Getting in and out is straightforward, parking is convenient, and the shuttle service to the terminal is quick and painless. We never feel like we need to arrive ridiculously early just to survive the experience. Inside the terminal there are enough food and drink options to grab a snack, relax for a bit, or enjoy the obligatory pre-flight cocktail before boarding. Seating areas are comfortable and the overall atmosphere feels much less chaotic than many major hubs. TSA has consistently been friendly during our trips, and security lines move surprisingly fast, which definitely helps take some of the stress out of traveling. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly because the airport is showing its age in certain areas and the ongoing construction can make parts of the experience feel a little less polished right now. That said, the convenience factor is hard to beat. For travelers in the Omaha area, this is one of those airports that simply gets the job done without turning travel day into a headache. We fly through here often and will gladly continue to do so.

She closed me out, opened a new one, charged me another round of fees and had the audacity to add an extra fee for the Bears game. Very rude and confrontational. Had no care in the world. The turnstile takes NFC payments making it a breeze to pay. I did hear on the loudspeaker a staff requesting a passenger to pay and that they were on video?!? The ride into Chicago downtown was surprisingly jerky. Signage at the platform indicating the next train was misleading as it changed at the last minute. Standing for the duration of the ride was challenging due to the jerky braking and the jerky acceleration...maybe it's cultural?

Since then, I have called customer service multiple times trying to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the experience has been very frustrating. I was transferred several times between representatives, and I felt pressured to pay for something that I do not believe I'm responsible for. To be honest, I'm genuinely upset about this situation. When I got there I realized that I did not have my driver's license on my person. Then they told me that I could not leave with the vehicle that I came in with and that was a problem to me. Clearly I had ID with my address, a driver's license in the system, a rental agreement with my name and the vehicle that I came with ...A text message confirming the vehicle that I came in with was rented to ME and these people took the car leaving me stranded in an city i was not familiar with meanwhile my hotel was 55 miles away in Portage IN!!!!! NO ONE CARED OR SHOWED ANY CONCERN. I had to take an uber for $107.00 to get my license, $38 in an uber for them to tell me the could not give me another car because the avis that took my car didn't return it!!!! So now I had to spend another $132 in an Uber to go from Merrilleville Indiana all the way back to Chicago O'Hare International Airport at the request of Avis road side just for Avis to tell me that I was at the wrong airport and I need to go 35 minutes away BACK TO AVIS AT MIDWAY airport. Luckily there was an employee there with common sense. He called Midway Avis and confirmed that the car was returned and I was able to leave with a car. I will never use Avis again. This whole ordeal cost me $277.00 and 7 hours of my time. DISGUSTED!!!!

I do think they need a little more crowd control, let people wait a little longer rather than cram everyone in. The menu is the same menu as other The Club locations, as I found out that day visiting multiple lounges. Just a couple of soups, salad bar, and dessert. I did have a brownie that somehow they had themed Chicago, and I will say it was an excellent brownie. The bathrooms are also far too few and cramped. Someone had cleared my drink away while I was in the bathroom. Understandable but this just seemed like a really chaotic place. I left quickly because the inside of the lounge seemed more cramped and busy compared to out in the terminal.
