Dr Tseng is very nice - but he arranged a surgery on my foot and at every step of the way I asked - will my insurance cover this? I was told - yes, yes, yes. And there was a whole lot of prep - chest X-rays, blood work, a full examination and a pre-consultation - requiring me to take a lot of time off work. Then just a few hours before the surgery I received a call telling me the surgery wasn't covered. So I'm just going to have to put up with the condition going forward. Beyond pissed off. read more

The provider is very nice and helpful, but unfortunately, this clinic does not confirm appointments. They make it clear upfront and don't even send text message reminders. I'm a retired 70 year old semi-retird rock and roll drummer / producer guy with a foot issue and it was recommended I see Dr Tseng this morning 6/9/21 for my 11:15 appt with the good Dr.. The location was great for me: I took the Fairfax bus down to Olympic bus and took that one to Century Park E bus stop and you just walk right into his building! I arrived an hour early to be sure I was not late. This was my first time seeing him. For some reason, my appointment date was earlier than they had me down for but they agreed to see me anyway! Thank Dahlia! How cool was that! Dr Tseng shaved down a callous on my foot that had a little tiny particle like a piece of sand that felt like a pin prick in my foot most of the time. I have had this problem a couple of other times in the past from the use of my foot in my drumming career. I cannot praise his work and professionalism and clean office and friendly staff enough. I'm the kind of guy who can leave a bad yelp when needed and I'm happy to be the satisfied customer/patient in this post. Thank you Dr. for making my foot problem resolved. I have been going to Dr. Tseng for over 2 years, he is very up front as to what he do to resolve your foot issue. I had a serious issue with my toe nails. Another doctor wanted to remove all my toe nails on my right foot, as he said this is the only way to cure the fungus and he wanted to operate on the big toe area as he said I had a bone spur, He wanted to make $$$. I was given Dr. Tseng as a second opinion. Dr. Tseng said I did NOT have to have my toe nails removed. He cleaned up all toes and pulled out in ingrown nail on my right big toe and that was what was causing me pain (not a bone spur). If you need a foot doctor, he is the best for your issues. Dr.Tseng is a GENIUS and has the BEST bedside manner!!! I've been going to him for a little over a year now because I have so many problems w/ my right foot from plantar fasciitis to a torn tendon. I'm so thankful I was referred to him because I knew foot pain like this and he makes it all better. Dr.Tseng is awesome. He quickly figured out where my pain was coming from and made a connection to lower back pain I had been suffering from for a few years before my foot issues started. He was good about following up, which is good as i'm not the most compliant of patients. The office staff is very friendly and go out of their way to work with your insurance to be sure everything's covered. Dr.Tseng is always timely so you're not sitting around waiting past your appointment time. Getting appointments is easy...i've since moved to San Francisco and have been able to get same week and even next day appointments during work trips back to LA. Downsides? I suppose parking's a pain at 9 bucks for 2hours, but that's a steal by SF standards so can't really ding them for that. I was highly recommended to Dr. Kevin Tseng by a patient. I was having a lot of Heel pain and was on my way to a trip out of the country for 1 month. Dr. Tseng was very helpful, allowed me to go on my trip with some restrictions, and when I got back 3 weeks later, He put me in a cast. Turns out I had a fractured Heel Spur = ( He was very good at answering my millions of questions over the phone and in person. His staff was very accommodating with my appointments, I live over 1 hr away in Newport Beach, but he was well worth the drive. I am now pain free, and able to do all the walking I need to do. I'm now going on a 2 month trip, and I would not have been able to do it if it wasn't for Dr. Tseng and his amazing expertise & bedside manners. I have not been a patient of Dr. Tseng but a close friend of mine was. She broke her ankle and I went to all the appointments with her. Dr. Tseng was great. The best thing about him is that he's a surgeon and he didn't immediately suggest surgery. In fact, he determined that surgery was not indicated and suggested giving the ankle ample time to heal on its own. He said that he could do surgery but that it wasn't needed. I'm impressed with that. He supported the ankle with a cast and gave detailed instructions for taking care of it and the healing happened with no problems since. I highly recommend him. read more

I found Dr. Tseng and his office staff to be very personable and my experience with him made me regret not seeing a foot doctor sooner. Dr. Tseng is a man of character and great trust! I had a prior podiatrist who got me walking after hammertoe surgery to 3 toes. Dr. Tseng happened to be the assistant, so he knew he was dealing with a tough one! When I had a bad fall and sustained a bad sprain to my left ankle and tore some ligaments, I was not a happy camper. Having to wear one of those blue walker boots to my knee, and having to deal with a new doctor too! I didn't know what to expect, my fear was "Here is a prescription, and come back in 2 months." Dr. Tseng explained to me what happened to my foot and how it affected my walking. He used a visual of a foot, so I could see what area of my foot was damaged. He was very proactive at each visit trying different methods to alleviate the pain, rather then just offer me pills. He tried wrapping it, but I was naughty and took it off. He prescribed the right size ankle support that does not swell up my foot, and anti-inflammatory medications that are keeping the swelling down. Dr. Tseng was right in that I needed to stay off my left foot. I decided that being at home for one week and not working was in my best interest after hearing all that Doctor Tseng made me aware of. My hammertoes kept me out of business for a while and then i was back in the court. This sprain is a bit of a setback. But very soon, I will be back giving everyone their fair share of competition. Just went in for a check up....speedy, efficient and overall a pleasant doc visit. Dr. Tseng makes me think that just maybe docs AREN'T shady and scary. I went to Dr Tseng for a wort on my foot that has been there for over 10 years. The first visit I went in I was about 8 months pregnant and I told Dr Tseng that I wanted the wort taken care of before I delivered the baby. He did just that, the same day he cut it out for me! I went to see Dr. Tseng when I started experiencing heel pain related to my marathon training. While he fit me for custom orthotics and checked up on my foot, he really didn't address the true issues of the pain - offering cortisol shots, etc. and telling me not to run as much - not an option! Am sure that Dr. Tseng is good at what he does but for sports related issues, I'd go to someone else. Turns out that my foot issues were directly related to muscle strengthening that I needed in addition to the insoles. Since going to another office that specializes in sports medicine and physical therapy, I've had no problems. For me, as a 32 year old highly active woman, he was a little too "treat the pain" not find the problem. read more
