If you're involved or interested in new age, general occult, new world Afro & Native Latin Caribbean spiritual or tradiciones secretas, this is definitely your place. This is one of the few places I've encountered where clutter can be beautiful. Tsuen May is testament to the ingenuity of Chinese business practices. They basically produce and import all of the spiritual tools, sacred herbs, palo's, spiritual waters one would need to successfully practice their spiritual arts. Walking through the aisle's I saw hundreds incense boxes, statues of "minorities", Saint's, Orisha, Buddhas, Kwan Yin, Chinese and Hindu gods. I actually saw a box of Shango lightning rocks, which I'd never seen before. Speaking of which I need to go back and buy a couple. They also have tumbled stones, feng shui books, crystals, nazars, Santeria beaded necklaces, cowrie shells and spiritual pots etc. It's probably near impossible to list all of the spiritual supplies they carry. But what impressed me the most about this place were the books. Tsuen has very rare hard to find Spanish language books on Palo Mayombe, Santeria and the occult. Some of the knowledge revealed in these books have been secreted away and would normally only be revealed after spending thousands of dollars in initiations. That's if the ones doing the initiation were even privy to the knowledge in the first place. There was one particular book that caught my attention, it was on Osain. This book elucidates the secret spiritual properties of sacred herbs in the Americas, I'm definitely going to go back to get this book. Panic sets in. I am in a tizzy trying to figure out what to do. I know what I want but don't even know where to begin to find it. So I start calling all of the stores that might carry the item I am looking for, and by start calling all of them this was the first one I called and they informed me they had it. So I rush over, STAT. Incredibly easy to find - how could I have driven by so many times and not seen it before? The owners were there, so sweet. A Chinese couple and Jenny (the wife) helped me with everything. This store is chock full of all types of items from swords (YES! I almost walked out with some daggers but realized I have no room in my home for more) to Feng Shui books, items, incense, crystals, Nazars (the blue eye glass charms to ward off the evil eye), well basically all types of items you can imagine. The prices are wonderful and if you need to purchase wholesale they are the people to talk to. I walked out with about ten items I wasn't planning on purchasing. I went crazy like a kid in a candy store. Now .. where to hide the credit card? Otherwise I will end up going back tomorrow. read more

Best Place to go! They have a full and very complete set of religious items you needed. I always go there to shop and every time I go there they will always surprise me with new items. I started my business a few years ago and Tsuen May is always the one I can trust. The people who worked there are super friendly and helpful. Usually its packed of people so therefore I always go there around 4:00pm, therefore I can easily find whatever I needed. When you are there you need to spend sometime to look around, because in some very outstanding beautiful item hidden around those corners Watch out for them!
