After we left Merrillville and moved to Portage, I felt the need to cancel my Crew membership and find something closer. I have not had any problems with Tsunami. Their staff members are friendly and courteous and I like the cleaning package that I purchased. It's actually better than the one I had with Crew. However, I will say that I prefer the Willowcreek location over the new spot on Hwy 6. They just got a new location in Michigan City where I work, so we'll have to see how that location works out. read more

I personally will never use Tsunami ever again. As a sincere warning, I strongly discourage folks to not go here and/or make any payment to them with a credit card. I made a single payment for a $5 car wash, and they kept my card information (without my knowledge or consent) to charge me for a $30 per month membership that I NEVER signed up for, and I NEVER used. I never signed or agreed to a single thing other than purchasing one $5 wash one afternoon. When I asked for proof I consented to being charged or agreeing to their policy, they essentially told me I was bound to their membership policy for not noticing the charges earlier... zero accountability taken on their end. Car wash itself is fine. Their so-called "customer experience team" is HORRIBLE!!! Or should I say NON-EXISTENT! On signing up for a membership they sent a text asking for my email which I provided. But the idiots at their end of the text string ENTERED IT IN THEIR SYSTEM WRONG! Now my phone number, car license and credit card (!!!!) are linked to an email account I cannot access...but that someone at the end of that incorrect email can!!! Their customer service does not answer phone calls nor do they reply to phone calls, texts, online help requests.... NOTHING. This place when it open was OK now that they've changed their system or whatever they've done. They can't get their shit together now they have people stopping you and tell you to go to the office to figure out your account because your account's not showing up, but they're taking money out of your bank account every month and now to come and find out that they want $10 more a month for what they do and they don't seem to do the under car wash anymore it's just a pain in the ass. Worst place to go takes way to long to get your car wash don't waste your time or money

What is going on with this car wash? I have been in there multiple times in the past few weeks and its been a horrible wash. Half the blowers don't work and soap left on my truck, the one time I was in there the worker kept stopping the wash which I assume is why my wash was so bad. I have been taking both of my cars here for more than a year and most of the time I am very satisfied with the wash experience, however, my one vehicle was scratched on the passenger-side by the spinning circular brush. My guess is that there was probably something embedded in the bristles, like a stone, picked up from another vehicle. Then tonight, my other vehicle had the entire rear wiper arm and blade snapped off. I didn't notice the damage in both cases until after I had driven off their lot so I didn't bother to go back and complain as I really doubt they would've cared or paid for the repairs. I'm canceling my monthly membership and will now be taking my vehicles to a touchless car wash from now on. Lesson learned -- stay away from car washes with these abusive spinning brushes. read more

LOVE the attendants at the check-in. Adds some CLASS to the overall experience. I teach Customer Service for Corporate American and they always have a smile on their face and answer your questions. KEEP the ATTENDANTS! The car wash is good, but sometimes it does miss some spots, but overall good service. read more

This place is absolutely awful. I was at the Ozark, MO location today. The attendants are a-holes with zero customer service experience. Today, we waited for minimum 15 minutes in the membership line while the new customer line was empty and a car pulled up and was served ahead of the MEMBERS who were waiting patiently in line. I demanded to know why this guy thought it was a good idea to go to the other line to serve the other car instead of us when we were next. I have this recorded because it was ridiculous how long we waited and it wasn't even the first time this has happened. Then the woman in the passenger seat starts yelling at me even though I wasn't talking to her. Then the guy washing the car retaliated by not washing my car and giving me a dirty look the whole time. You are better off doing your research and finding a different car wash with NO attendants or BETTER customer service. read more

Get the unlimited monthly car wash! (I think the double wash works great for $30 so no need for the fancy packages) If you get the unlimited it's definitely worth it. The gentleman was very thorough today with the pre rinse when I told him my car was attacked my birds lol Just like any business, you might have lazy people-as the last time I was here the person did one spot where the birds got my car, that's why it's worth paying for the unlimited. As per any car wash that you drive through it's not gonna dry your car perfect, so I keep a beach towel in the back if I feel like getting out to dry it off although it's not bad. Used to be a good car wash. Been there over 50 times. Now, due to some damage to the auto brushes from who knows what, all vehicles that have a hitch will no longer get the rotating auto brushes to clean the rear of the vehicle. They get instead, if the attendant feels like it, a high pressure spray and nylon broom on their vehicle. Today, I got neither. Still covered in road salt! You had something good going on and now you don't. See ya going to the "Crew". read more

Sign advertising $5 wash. $5 wash is "a light rinse". $12 wash and my truck was still dirty. Might be a good wash for small cars, but not worth it for a big truck as it came out still dirty. read more

The car wash ripped off my trim. The owner called and explained that it would not cover because the mud flap was "Hanging." and sent me a picture. It is a brand new car and the picture he took from the surveillance video shows an intact mud flap that is not hanging. So, I asked for a copy of the entire video and has not responded. I did manage to get my car washed here 1 time since it has been open. But not worth the money spent. Rocker panels looked like they were never washed and the dryers still leave your car soaked. But this place is closed more than they are open. Either for maintenance, or it just isn't working, and it's brand new. Also, not open on Sundays at all. You can get a much better wash for your money at Portage Car Wash. read more

I got a membership and they gave me a sticker to put inside my windshield which worked on my Infiniti. I got a Jaguar and they gave me a new sticker but their reader wouldn't read the sticker so they put a new sticker on the outside of my windshield and their reader wouldn't read that sticker either. I got told I have a fancy car with a fancy windshield with a copper coating that doesn't allow their reader to read the sticker. So I paid for a month that I could not use. No refund. Supposedly they're working on a new system that will eliminate the sticker and instead read the license plate but in the meantime they should change the layout of their lanes because backing completely out of the machines into the parking lot is ridiculous. Get your system together before you take people's money. Also being closed on Sunday is ridiculous too. Be open 24/7 and have someone to assist so cars aren't dangerously backing up all the time. read more
