My husband and I walked in on our way to lunch. Two women were seated at their front desk. We expressed our interest in new countertops, and even had the dimensions. Unfortunately, the lady we approached (older lady, slightly crooked teeth) was insanely rude. When we asked to see options, she responded that they didn't have Corian (which we didn't want) Rather than showing us what they had, she was dismissive. We walked out without seeing anything. After getting scammed by another store I was very careful about looking again. I read every review possible. I settled on 3 different stores. I settled on tts because of the way I was treated. They had a large showroom with many different choices. Courtney gave me samples to hold up in my kitchen. The installers were top notch and took their time to make sure it was perfect. Our live edge countertops they installed in our remodeled master bathroom had Powder Post Beetles. They claimed to have replaced them with new wood but when we got the so called new ones you could easily tell they were the exact same ones that had bugs crawling out of them. The holes were plugged and the live edges were sanded and stained over. Three months later and they refuse to stand behind their work so now we're taking them to court. read more

Stay clear. I will condense the story as much as possible. In November we spent 10k on quartz for our kitchen, we upgraded sink, told grates come with sink. Installed counter during remodel in November, sink was wrong, after investigation they admitted it was cut for a single sink, although we purchased the double. So instead of it being and under mound there was an inch of silver around. Our remodel was placed on hold. They told us they would be able to find a sink that would fit, of course they were unable and had to replace that section. Put our project on delay about 2 weeks. Manager at the time Scott told me we would work something out after the project was complete. Re-installed 2 weeks later. Weeks and weeks later spoke with Scott about a fair discount. Was basically told they were unwilling to provide any discount or money off and only discounted us back for what it cost our contractor to take sink out and re-install sink. Still waiting for the sink grates at this point (February/March). In the meantime was told Scott is not with company anymore. Cindy said sink grates on their way (which I was told by Scott months ago), went and picked them up and they were wrong-go figure! Finally last week (April), spoke to someone regarding our final bill and sink grates. He told me they searched and searched and they can't find any that will fit my sink. After discussion he deemed $400 a fair discount for my troubles (2 weeks kitchen remodel delay and no sink grates as promised). I gave him my Discover card number and verified the amount. Not 2 min later I got a text from Discover with the WRONG amount charged, no $400 off. The right hand does not speak to the left hand here. Very poor customer service, which is disappointing as I have used them for 2 other projects. Would NEVER use again and would not recommend. read more

She always got back to us promptly and was honest about what types of stones work best in what areas. We went with "Super White" in our kitchen, there was no comparison to the slabs they had in their Sterger wearhouse to the "Super White" slabs at the other company, or even MSI. There were a lot of selections to make which can feel overwhelming but Kathy made sure everything went smooth. first impressions are pretty important...based on my first interaction, i'd run the opposite direction & use another granite company. tts granite, mokena & steger, il must have a either someone with a neurogical problem or a drunk driving their vehicle on the streets of mokena. on 10/28/20 at approx 5:44 p.m one of their vehicles turned west off of wolf rd on to rt. 30 and went directly into the left hand lane where i was driving without looking or using a turn signal. i had to slam on my brakes/use the emergency brake in my full size cadillac escalade and vier over up against the 6"+ concrete median in order for them to not clip the corner of my vehicle and me not total their vehicle. obviously their employee/sales person had their head up their butt! i'm sure they must have messed their pants! if someone could do while driving you could only imagine what might happen on the job! left a voice mail on their business line...sure hope they ask & find out who was driving that vehicle! read more

When my wife and I purchased our countertops from TTS Granite a few years ago, we were told by the showroom representative that the price quoted included complimentary lifetime sealing of the countertops. Because some time had passed since the countertops were installed, and their finish had dulled over that time, my wife contacted TTS to arrange the complimentary sealing that had been promised at the time of sale. The TTS representative denied that that they ever agreed to the complimentary sealing. Although I won't replace my countertops for a decade or so, I will not use TTS at that time. In the meantime, I will share this story every time the topic of countertops arises. read more

I wish we had a positive experience with TTS Granite but we didn't. We hired them to install granite countertops for our kitchen last month and since then it has been a costly nightmare. Don't get me wrong, the countertops look beautiful but they are not worth the headache and additional expenses we have incurred since they were installed. The lack of communication from TTS during the pre-installation and installation process literally has cost us hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Plus we still have pending expenses. We told TTS that we were going to upgrade our cooktop. They told us that all they needed were the dimensions of the new cooktop so that they could cut the countertop to accommodate the new appliance. We sent them the dimensions including the brand name and model number. Unfortunately, TTS failed to share with us that even though we picked an appliance with the same width (because that's what they told us to do) that there could be a possibility that the depth may be different. And, if that is the case then we would be responsible for hiring a contractor to cut the inside of the cabinet so that the new appliance would fit. (Mind you, they had the appliance information well before the installation was scheduled and NEVER said anything about this possibly happening). On the day of the installation, after the countertops had been cut, the lead installer told us that the new cooktop wouldn't fit and that we'd have to hire someone to cut the inside of our custom cabinets. We did and now our customized features like the pull out drawer no longer work. TTS gifts you with a free stainless steel sink with the purchase of the countertops. We chose the style of sink we wanted when we visited the Steger showroom. We asked how difficult the connection process was and were told that it's not difficult at all and that only a few minor adjustments would need to be made to our existing plumbing line. Not true. What TTS failed to share was that their sinks fall lower and that one basin falls extremely low and that it's best to hire a plumber to do the reconnection. Nothing like that was share. We were told how much they charge to disconnect and reconnect the plumbing and it is way more than what the average plumber charges. Lastly, we shared with TTS that we were going to upgrade our dishwasher. Again, we were told to make sure that our new dishwasher is the same size as our existing one so that it would fit inside the space. We did. Unfortunately, on the day of installation, the installers pushed our old dishwasher back too far and then laid the countertop on it with no wiggle room to pull it out like we had been able to do prior to TTS installing the new countertops. Because of this, we could not (nor could the appliance delivery team or two professional plumbers) pull it out of the space without damaging our kitchen floor. Everyone INCUDING THE TTS LEAD INSTALLER said that in order to remove the old dishwasher and install a new one, we would have to break approximately 9-10 tiles on our existing ceramic floor. And, if we if we ever needed to service the dishwasher in the future, we'd have to remove (break) the tiles again and reinstall new ones. We reached out to TTS several times since the countertops were installed and their response to all of this has been "WE'RE SORRY BUT OUR JOB WAS TO INSTALL THE COUNTERTOPS AND WE DID. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHARGES POST INSTALLATION." Needless to say we are beyond livid. Funny thing is EVERY PROFESSIONAL that has helped us with these post installation issues cannot believe TTS didn't disclose anything to us about what could happen and so on. Mind you, we have had several contractors, plumbers, floor installers and even another local granite company out to our home to provide us with quotes and/or to do the work. ALL OF THEM HAVE SAID THE EXACT SAME THING AND THAT IS "TTS SHOULD HAVE WARNED US AND/OR COMMUNICATED TO US WHAT COULD GO WRONG AND AT THE VERY LEAST BEEN MORE TRANSPARENT THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS." They didn't. They don't care. They want their money and to be done with it all. We get that. The truth is, it's too late now. We can't undo what they have done even though we wish we could. We hope this post will help someone who is considering purchasing countertops with TTS Granite. Or, maybe it will simply inspire someone to go elsewhere for countertops like we wish we had. read more

One word review: Beware! TTS Price quote was higher than several other granite shops. Several thousand dollars higher. Our remodeler referred them and said he'd had trouble with some of the lower priced shops on installs. We trusted him, so we went against our better judgement and went with TTS. Huge mistake. Our quartz countertop had a scuff on a corner when it arrived for install. Installers tried to buff it out, then came the next day to try to rectify. Saw them planing the stone, shaving some of it, and I was worried about it fitting properly. They said "you won't even notice it when the stove is in". Stove arrived and the counter did not fit properly, starting at back of the wall the space between counter and stove got wider and wider, nearly an inch gap by the time you got to the front of the counter. TTS sent people over twice. First time, they moved the stove. Second time they offered to replace the part of the counter in question for an additional $900. Having already paid over $ 10K for the counter, I didn't feel that was acceptable. The owner of the shop finally got involved after several weeks of back and forth. He denied any wrongdoing even though he'd never seen the counter in person (although on pics it's very obvious) and gave several different bogus excuses for the mistake (wall not square, stove not square, cabinets were off, etc., etc. ). They went as far as to lie and say that the person who came the second day didn't cut or plane any material off of the counter (not only did my family see it happen, my remodeler, the electrician, and a neighbor who stopped in all saw it happening.).Only after I contacted the manufacturer of the quartz, Cambria, and they got involved did TTS agree to replace it. Then it was another week of no sink after removing the counter and waiting for it to be reinstalled. This entire ordeal took over a month from the original install to play out. If we hadn't contacted the manufacturer, Joe wouldn't have done anything other than insult us and lie, dance around the truth. Whether the intial laser measurement was off, the counter was cut wrong, however it was damaged, or whether the counter was altered by the techs trying to right the wrong, whatever happened, something was not right, and TTS did everything they could to avoid replacing it at their cost. T After a very rude phone conversation with myself and my daughter, the owner Joe didn't even bother calling us back as he said he would (in the meantime we called the manufacturer, who sent a rep to take pics, measure the counter, and deal with the follow up). Bottom line, HIGHLY recommend Cambria Quartz counters. Great product, and great customer serivce. Absolutely DO NOT recommend buying them through TTS Granite. Prices are very high compared to other shops and they have a hard time standing behind their work. To avoid hassle, I'd search for a more reputable dealer that provides follow up and customer service. read more

This company gets 0 stars as a rating! They voided the contract by not allowing me to approve the cutting of the slab that took me 4 months and many miles and hours to choose. They cut off all the best parts of my slab and threw the in the garbage and left little that was left of this beautiful stone along the inside edge where it can't be seen. The one very visible corner was broken and haphazardly fixed. I see it every day and it turns my stomach. After months, someone finally came out and offered to do a full backsplash as consolation and after a long time considering I decided to go for it. I knew another slab would not have the beauty of the one I chose, and figured I might be able to live with all the flaws of the cut. Two months went by and now I am being told I have to pay for the backsplash and they are sending their lawyer after me to collect their money!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

This is the second time i have used TTS Granite. From start to finish they are total professionals. Diane is very knowledgeable about the different types of stone. When scheduling the appointment for measurements they were on time to the minute. We live far from their showroom. They came out on a Friday and one week later they were back for the install. The crew came out and were polite and professional. Art and Armando really knew what they were doing.. Again they came at the exact time they said they would arrive. Diane told my wife and I how to care for our new counters. We remodeled two bathrooms. We did our master bath 4 years and they look like the day they were installed. The quality of the materials they use are A+ and the fit is perfect. If your looking for new counter tops, don't waist your time TTS Granite is the only place to go. Yesterday TTS Granite completed the installation of my new granite kitchen countertops. From the purchase to the installation, I could not have had a more flawless experience, I'd checked with other companies in the area, including the big box stores, and I just didn't feel that "personal touch" with the people I talked to. When I first called TTS to inquire about some new countertops for my freshly painted kitchen, I spoke with Emily who turned out to be my salesperson throughout the process. I love this aspect of TTS because unlike other places, I'm able to work with one person who understands my project and whatever issues come up, instead of being passed around through the company to people who have no idea who you are and what's going on with your projects. Something else I appreciate about TTS is that when you call or stop by with questions, ANYONE in the front office is ready, willing and able to answer all your questions! Here's how the process went: I called TTS and Emily took my call. I asked to speak with someone who could help me choose some countertops and she said she was the person to talk to. We discussed my project and she told me it'd be best to go to the Steger location (which is were she was) to view the actual slabs of granite. She told me that if I could get over there before 11am(it was Friday and she had an appointment at 11) she could take me around the showroom. I promptly agreed and hightailed it over there. It must have been my day because her 11am appointment never showed! Emily was patient, kind and friendly and took me through both of their showrooms making notes of all the slabs I liked. She explained everything and gave me a very in-depth rundown of the different slabs, textures, colors and so on. What's more, their fabrication plant is also on the premise so you can purchase your slab from TTS and everything is handled IN HOUSE! Emily said she expected for me to have to return several times to choose something I'd love, but I found the perfect slab that day and put down a deposit. She called me a "rare bird" because almost no one can choose a slab on their first day! After I put down a deposit and she tagged my slab, she even gave me a tote bag with a sample of the slab I choose and my second runner up to take home just to be sure I was happy. She even threw in a bottle of cleaner and a special towel to keep my granite looking great. James came out to measure on Monday, and I went in on Tuesday to complete the layout. By the following Tuesday, the two man installation crew came out (right on time mind you!) to install my countertops. The process went so quickly and smoothly, I was shocked! When the installation team took out my old laminate tops, they didn't leave ONE SINGLE MARK on my freshly painted walls! They took the entire laminate top out in one huge piece. They kept my home clean and tidy and it took less than two hours to complete the installation. I honestly could not be more pleased with the entire process!
