What can I say other than the Evans kitchen has been given showroom status thanks to Wood Street! Kelsey was our designer and gave us white glove service from beginning to end. Her knowledge of industry trends and what would stand the test of time let us know we were in great hands! Everything ended up perfect down to the "cabinet jewelry." We are in love with the massive island they were able to design and fit in the space. The owner met with us personally and the team who came out let the neighborhood know something great was happening on our street that day. In love with our new kitchen! Every millimeter was used for optimum design and efficiency. Kelsey was so kind and easy to work with. We did our homework before settling. Pricing isn't cheap but still in line with other quotes of not cheaper. After visiting their showroom and seeing our potential renderings in 3D- we were sold! The fact that they install made the decision that much easier. We recently used Wood Street Cabinets on our kitchen remodel. Kelsey was awesome and brought my vision to life. She accommodated my request for a big island to seat 6 while still having room to circulate. Her design was well thought-out and gave us tons of storage. She was great to work with, and the design software allowed us to make tweaks and see what the finished product would look like. I recently had my kitchen remodeled and used Wood Street Cabinet for the design and install. Terri and Joel were absolutely wonderful to work with. I had a galley kitchen in a very old house in Chicago and it was a challenge to say the least. Terri was able to reconfigure and use every possible square inch we had to create an open kitchen concept that we did not think could be possible. Resurfacing the existing or changing it to new cabinetry was our dilemma! We quickly realized that the price tags were very similar, and we would be better off going to the new one. We went around the usual home improvement and pro shops, got 101 education, and received a few quotes. These off-the-shelve cabinets were not cheap by any means but primarily didn't meet our expectations/tastes. We were referred to Wood Street Cabinet by one of the contractors we worked with, and he was not affiliated with them. We were impressed with the level of detail we gathered during our first visit to its showroom. Kelsey Klahn, the Design Specialist, answered all our questions patiently and, most importantly, provided the differentiated value of the custom designs and why Wood Street is better at this. It may not have numerous products to display, but its selectivity and creativity have exceeded our wants. Over the next several weeks, we worked with Kelsey and evolved a layout and custom cabinetry that satisfied our vision and taste. After that, we went back several times to make changes, including changes to pullouts and add-ons. Kelsey was so friendly and highly accommodating of our change requests. Moreover, she is highly creative, and through 3-D renditions, she made us visualize the final product while making these design changes. She created a 'Wow' effect for us! After we finalized the design and the quote, we were ready to sign. Since we were doing this project for the first time, we didn't know what to expect during the installation. So, we accepted their demolition, removal, and installation service costs included in the overall quote, which we find very reasonable. I independently got a quote from a third-party contractor and got my validation that the Wood Street quote was lower and fair. Wood Street referred us to a couple of installers, and we went with Hulbert Home Improvement. We received another remodeling quote, on the top of cabinet installation, for plumbing, drywall, and electrical works. We had a false start, but we were thrilled once we were on the same page about the project schedule and expectations. Dustin and his crew were phenomenal. He walked us through the critical steps of the project and stayed on with his plan without a single miss. Most importantly, his craftsmanship and diligence were excellent. Above all, he is very friendly, and we were very comfortable communicating the changes we sought along the way. We were extremely pleased with the final product he delivered to us. A month after the completion of our project, I called Wood Street to make a few changes to the pullouts and the hardware, which they did without any additional costs. We are so grateful to Kelsey and Dustin, who made our dream kitchen project a reality. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Wood Street Cabinet if someone is looking for a kitchen remodeling project for the first time or the third time. A long process for sure, but you won't be disappointed with their professionalism, creativity, or service. We hope your project journey will be as successful as ours! read more

After checking out another place and we didn't want to pay that much. We were so unhappy with the cabinet we checked out them. They told us the flames were in good shape and to save money we could replace the outside. The other place didn't tell us that. Then they got done they look like brand new ones. Love my new "Wood Street Cabinet" kitchen. I have worked with the owner, Joel Powless on four different projects. He's remodeled both of my bathrooms & done custom cabinets for my family room. The quality is always top notch. I haven't had a single scratch or defect in a door or drawer after years of daily use. His designer Terri is great too.
