But I considered the fact that I was (poorly) attaching disposables every time I left the house as a sign that I should reconsider. I went to Sonia for my first set and I'm never going back. I went to two other salons over the years before finding Clara's business on Piedmont - Clara is the best, softest touch and no tearing eyes at all during application! Before going to Clara I thought that I just had sensitive eyes that cried during appointments no matter what... nope. Turns out I just needed an expert who uses top shelf glue and knows what they are doing. A couple weeks ago I came into Tuani in San Leandro to help my friend who was a student in the Eyelash training course. I came in as a lash model and I left as a client sure to return. I take my good looks very seriously and I have had bad experiences with low level salon services in the past. That is the reason i only have a chosen few that I let get near my face and now Clara, and anybody trained by Clara, has been added to that few. The salon & environment are exactly what i look for in a salon along with the high quality lashes and service. CLEAN, chic & trendy and I walked out feeling the same I may even take the Eyelash training course now that I see how much money my friend is making only being certified a couple weeks!! I booked with Grace to have extensions done for my wedding. The San Leandro location is very nicely decorated and the bed is comfortable that you lay on while getting your lashes done. Grace was very personable and had the right balance of talking and letting me fall asleep. :) She was also very meticulous with her work and took the time to get every lash she could. I was very satisfied with the final product (hybrid for the wedding) and even decided to keep getting them done with her. I have been getting my lashes done at the Tuani location in Piedmont for over a year and a half now. Just recently I had to cancel my appointment last minute but was still in need of an urgent fill. They were able to squeeze me in the next day at their San Leandro location with a different technician before they even opened for the day. At first I was scared because I have been to multiple lash studios with no luck before finding Clara and she always does my lashes to perfection and already knows how I like to get them done. But I was amazed on how PERFECT my lashes turned out. The technician there was so kind and understanding to how I like my lashes, I like them very long and wispy and she was spot on!!
