Years ago, I visited this establishment and didn't have the best experience. Since it had been…read morequite some time, and because most of the recent reviews have been so positive, I decided to give it another try. I live out of state and met my son there for brunch, and I'm so glad we did. I really appreciated that the menu offers half-size portions of some of the platters, which is perfect for someone like me who doesn't have a huge appetite. I ordered the half-size Kitchen Sink skillet. There was a small upcharge for that particular skillet, but it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and this restaurant has definitely earned a spot among my favorite breakfast and brunch places in the area. Parking is plentiful, which is always a plus. The inside of the restaurant, although cozy, is a bit of a tight squeeze, though, and they seem especially busy on weekends. I'd recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait.

I picked this place based on the yelp score, so thank you yelp. We went for breakfast on a Sunday…read moremorning and the place was pretty busy but they still had seating available. They offer indoor and outdoor covered seating. The hostess was very nice and seated us right away. We asked to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. I love trying homemade corned beef hash so I asked if it was really homemade. The waitress said "honey everything here is homemade". I order eggs, toast and the hash with potatoes. I ordered the fresh squeezed oh and a coffee. They brought out homemade cream, who does that and the butter and ketchup was also homemade. At this point I knew I was in a great place. My wife and son ordered pancakes and the French toast. The pancakes were huge and delicious. The French toast was also amazing. My meal was also great. The ketchup for my potatoes was also homemade, I like Heinz, and homemade ketchup is very different but still good. I highly recommend trying this place. Can't wait to go back.

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).
