And finding help can be difficult. I recently bought a purse here that was tethered to the rack with a security lock. I rang for service so I could purchase it. No one showed up. I rang again and waited. Again no one. After a third ring, waiting and no one responding - I went to get help from someone nearby. She was helpful and kind when asked but I know that she heard the call button and was ignoring it. Then I went to stand in the ridiculously long line. Just like TjMaxx upstairs, there's never enough help to run the registers and the lines are very long. There have been times both here and upstairs that we have just left our items in store and didn't purchase because the line was taking so long that it no longer seemed worth it.

And the values are extreme, alright...so much so that I have often found myself here looking for a cheap item or two. Accessibility: I've seen better but I have also seen worse. If the buttons on the door don't work, it can be a pain to get in or out. Do bear that in mind, and if you use a wheelchair, make sure your foot doesn't catch any displays. Aisles could stand to be a tad wider in spots. Price: Well...it's Big Lots. They have some nice deals, some of which on things I have NEVER seen at Remke-Biggs across the street (Larry the Cable Guy branded seasonings, anyone?), but also some standard brands you'll find in other stores. Nice. Experience: I've not run into any flat out unfriendly employees, but at times have had the vibe that some don't really want to be there, they just are to pay the bills. Maybe that's me catching an employee or two on a bad day. Finding things I want can be a hassle, but once I've got them, I get through fairly quickly. Overall, Big Lots gets a 3/5 from me. Maybe the next time the store gets a makeover, whenever that is, make the aisles wider and make the front doors truly automatic, and this will get a better rating.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store generally is kept clean and organized. Unfortunately on this most recent visit the dressing rooms were still closed and I was not willing to buy the items I looked at without trying them on, so I oddly left empty handed. Parking can be a little bit hectic in this part of Rookwood, so be warned.

This location (and others) I've notice always seem consistently understaffed. The long lines at the registers seem to be consistent. The staff have all been kind and polite, but I do wish they would more properly staff the checkout line. As always, selection is hit or miss, but it's worth it to catch a good find. I'm also always suckered into buying candles when I visit. tl;dr: Do: Expect some good deals to be found. Don't: Expect to be in and out quickly without waiting in line.

From my experiences most Burlington's are older, kinda run down..just kind of a mess overall. But this one is brand spankin new, extremely clean, well organized, fully stocked..it is a pretty impressive store all together. Like other Burlington's, this location is well stocked in discounted merchandise ranging from designer clothing to small appliances and house decor. If you have the time to sort through everything you can walk out of here with some amazing deals. I'm also happy that Burlington swooped in took up this recently vacated location because they're really doing so much to try to build up this area, and empty storefronts look awful. Now if only someone would do something with the former HH Gregg next door this area will be totally and completely back on track.

They always have some selection of books, toys, health and beauty, flooring, bedding, shelf stable foods, home decor... Some items are great deals, others not so much. This location is one that carries appliances. The appliance selection is generally small. On one visit the appliances were high end, and half off what Lowe's or Home Depot would sell them for. On my last visit, the appliances were all older, dented, base models. If you see something you are interested in, buy it. Do not wait. It is hard to know how long something will be there. I once waited a week, and when I came back the items was completely sold out. Ollie's has a rewards program. The program gives points for every dollar you spend. These points add up to rewards.
