I've never written a review before. At this point, to save everyone a headache I am doing I felt compelled to write a review. Tuff Sheds, Helena locations will provide you with great customer service to obtain your business, but good luck getting any help once the obtain your money. I applied and was approved for their promotion of zero interest for one year. A build date was set and in place. The build date was moved so many times that my application expired and had to be extended. I was continuously rescheduled. I was never informed of reschedule dates. I was only aware of such b/c based on the fact nobody would show up for the build day. I would call asking why nobody showed up for build day and was informed that based on vendors everything was backlog. It would be nice if the Helena location had enough ethics to call and inform me of such after placing a 22,000 USD plus order and pending a home sale. I was even notified by one of the agents that based on so many complaints due to backlogs the receptionist quit because she was tired of being yelled at by customers. This individual is also no longer with the company. I've left several voicemails requesting a call back to obtain a refund for vents that were placed during the construction. On one occasion, I was luckily enough to have someone answer on the other end and was informed a rep from Spokane would reach out to me. Nobody did, not sure the message was ever relayed. I've left Voicemail's since with no call back to date. Don't be fooled by the great customer service on the front end because once they have you, you're just another number. On October 5th, 2019 I purchased a Tuff Shed for $4289.37. I was initially very excited about my purchase, but now regret my it. The building it-self is fantastic, but the dealer here in Helena Montana is far from. My building was constructed with the doors facing my garage instead of facing my patio so I cannot access it. That was back in the first week of November. I called immediately to tell them that the shed needed to be turned. It did snow so the crane operator was not comfortable turning the building. However, we have not had snow or ice or anything else on the ground since December.The store does not return my calls and has made no attempt to call me back. It has been 12 weeks now and I have a giant structure in my yard that I cannot use. Tuff Shed sucks. I wish I had the option of not paying until the job was complete. I used Tuff Shed for the design and construction of my 20x30 barn/garage. I could not be more pleased with the result. The Helena office helped me refine my plan and orchestrated the project. They talked directly with my local cement contractor to make sure the slab would be configured properly. The actual construction took three full days (my design included a full loft). We went into the Helena location in July and picked out a shed to be built. We were told 8-10 weeks from time of order, so we put $1800.00 down that day. We were told we would receive updates along the build, and to expect our shed in late August, early Sept. By mid Sept, we still had no shed, no updates so I began attempting to communicate with them by calling their office, leaving voicemails, contacting their FB page, and sending emails asking about our shed. I got no response for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, I finally had a salesman call me back to tell me that Covid had slowed production, and that we were scheduled for November 26th. I patiently awaited Nov 26th, and took the day off work, only to have no shed delivered and no notice given. I called Tuff Shed, and spoke to a man named Alex(?), who claimed he was the new manager and attempting to get the scheduling conflicts under control. I explained that so far, we were months beyond the original delivery date, had received no communication, and lost days at work due to the unprofessional way they conduct business. Alex apologized, and said that he could guarantee we have the shed delivered the first week of December. I stressed to him again that we were taking days off to accommodate delivery, and he assured me no further delays or poor communication. We settled on Dec 8th @8:30am. My fiance took the day off work so someone would be home for delivery. On the delivery date, she called me at 1pm, saying she had received no call and no delivery of the shed had arrived. I called Alex, who told me he was going to have to reschedule. When I pointed out there had been no communication, and that we again had lost paid days at work to be there, I got a disinterested apology. I told him I was tired of the lack of professionalism and the constant lying about delivery dates and asked how I go about getting my refund. Alex told me that since it had been past 120 days from order, if I wanted my money back, it would take 8-12 weeks. I pointed out that it was past that deadline only through their unprofessional behavior and inability to meet their given delivery dates, and was told that didn't matter. I told him I wanted the shed canceled and an email confirmation of the cancelation and refund request. I was told I'd have it within a few days. We are now nearly 2 weeks beyond that and I've not gotten any email confirmation or refund information. This company is the most disorganized, unaccountable company I've ever worked with. Stay away, unless you wish to be lied to, and not see your money again. Very disappointed. read more
