Wonderful re-build--bright shiny new walls and floor--which then made the 50 year old ceiling look really ugly, so unplanned new ceiling! They also did a few other things that made our lives easier--always with a smile! John shows up when he says he will and does what he says he will, with friendly, competent, hard working subs! He will be my first go to guy from now on--I have several out door jobs planned for Broderick Builders for later--when it's not so hot! Thank you John!!

We had some issues with lazy decision making without our consent. Those were handled according during renovations so that's fine. However, we are just over 2 years living in our home and we already have to hire a roofer because of how awful the job was. We have multiple leaks. Ascension came out less than a month ago and they claimed the roof was fine and have refused to fix their mistake which is why I'm now here. If you want someone to do the job right the first time, go somewhere else.

This company has a lack of communication and writing things down. I had to remind them several times of specs we talked about and they stated they didn't remember. I had to come by my residence daily to ensure the job was staying on track, during this time several things had to be redone. While they were doing the construction they damaged one of my vent lines to the kitchen and placed duct tape on it (never told me). The paint first started pealing off the wall, the vanity was not placed in the correct place and the plumbing was not done to specs. The small amount of electrical work was way over price (this came later and was not on the estimate)!!! We had to purchase the faucet, toilet, sink and vanity, shower head and hand rails. Which were not included in the estimate. I would look for another contractor, unless you have time in your day to check on it daily. Would highly not recommend this company.

I would definitely recommend bringing in a reputable builder to inspect a celebration home. The…read moresubs that they use are mediocre at best and crappy to be honest. I have owned my home for almost 2 years and have invested several thousand dollars trying to bring it into codes all the while being mocked and ridiculed by the builder because I was pointing out the flaws. From the electrician to the plumber to the painters and finishers they fell way short of what quality work is supposed to look and feel like. The only sub that got it right in my book is the HVAC contractor and he went out of his way to make sure my house was warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Shout out to Claud Heating and air conditioning. Everyone else involved in the build should have all their licenses revoked and be banned from ever being allowed to build much less sell another one of these houses. Good luck if you screwed up and bought a celebration home. The Carpet Den in Franklin,Tn. can't spell LVP much less lay it. The plumbing contractor wouldn't know how to lay a shower pan if he had a YouTube video to help and the electrician, oh my the electrician, I am betting they get electrocuted a lot on the job site. Timberland cabinets really needs classes on how to mount cabinets before they are allowed to quote another job seeing how I had to add blocking in because my cabinets were falling off the wall and they wanted to argue with me. But the end result of my home is not what I expected. First, they convinced me to move the location of the house, they said it would save me a lot of money in excavation, so I trusted them and reluctantly agreed but that meant I lost the view I wanted from my back porch. That view was THE reason I bought that land to build on! But the excavation ended up being the same cost they originally quoted me... it didn't save me any money at all! There was no communication about that until after the excavation was done and I asked about it. When the house was done, it didn't pass inspection because they didn't use tempered glass above my bathtub and a few other silly little things that the codes people were being too picky about. But the builder should've known the codes for glass above a bathtub. Their solution was to send me a link to where I could buy a peel and stick film to put on my bathroom window. I told them I didn't think I should be responsible for paying for that, or trying to apply it myself! They ended up getting it and putting it on for me...BUT it bubbled and looks warped when I look out that window. It's my new home, it should have been fixed the right way but now I'm left to deal with that. Also, my concrete floors are awful, I pointed out a big spot by the front door that was worn down and really rough, my builder said not to worry about that because I wouldn't see it when they were done. Well, it's still there, exactly like it was when I pointed it out. They were supposed to clean the floors after drywall and seal them again. But over 6 months later, I'm STILL scraping drywall mud off my floors! They never sealed them again, but they left 2 huge full containers of seal (along with a lot of other trash) on my porch when they were done. My floors in my home are way worse than most garage floors, the expansion joints are wide open for dirt to fall in to and it doesn't look like the floors are sealed at all. I've seen many homes with concrete floors that are sealed (not stained, just sealed) and they are beautiful. That's what I was expecting, that's not what I got! I know this was just another "job" to them, but this is my home. It took literally EVERYTHING I had to build it, and I trusted the Barn Store to build it. I didn't want to write this kind of review, I was hoping to have a 5 star experience but sadly that is not the case.

He agreed to attach extra wood to make the gap smaller. My mom followed up multiple times and he continually gave her the run around about the timeline to come address the issue. My parents are elderly and are currently experiencing health issues which makes the whole ordeal even more stressful. Now we're having to pay someone else to come tie up his loose ends. When I contacted him to let him know we no longer were interested in him finishing the project, he responded that he had planned to come the next morning. Of course.
