Both of my children graduated from Tulip Kids--my daughter last summer and my son this summer. Looking back on the past four years, I truly wanted to write this review to thank the amazing teachers who helped shape both of my children. I am especially grateful to Ms. Aayushree, Ms. Martha, and Ms. Karina, whose patience, love, and dedication made an unforgettable difference in our family's journey. My daughter attended Tulip Kids from age 3 to 5. She didn't speak any English when she first enrolled and was nervous about leaving her parents. We are especially grateful to Ms. Karina, who even used Google Translate to communicate with her and help her feel understood. Thanks to her patience and encouragement, our daughter adjusted within a month, quickly learned English, and grew into a confident, happy little girl who loved going to school. My son attended Tulip Kids from 2.5 years old in Junior Pre-K until he graduated from the Pre-K class at age 4. Like his sister, it was his first experience being away from his parents, and he cried every single day when he first started. We can never thank Ms. Martha enough for what she did for him. She was unbelievably patient, loving, and understanding. During nap time, my son would only fall asleep on Ms. Martha's lap. She would quietly sit there for nearly two hours without moving because she knew that if she moved even a little, he would wake up crying. She did this every day for almost a month. That level of patience, compassion, and dedication is something we will never forget. Little by little, she earned his trust, and eventually he learned to love school and happily separated from us each morning. As my son grew older and moved into the Pre-K class, he was a very energetic little boy who sometimes struggled to manage his emotions. Whenever things didn't go the way he expected, he would become frustrated and lose his temper. Ms. Ayushree was incredible with him. She would patiently kneel beside him, talk to him calmly, comfort him, and gently teach him, "It's okay. It's okay." Her kindness and guidance made a lasting impact. Even today, whenever my son encounters something unexpected and starts to get upset, he reminds himself, "It's okay. It's okay." Watching him gradually learn to regulate his emotions has been one of the greatest gifts we could have asked for, and we know Ms. Ayushree played a huge role in helping him build that confidence and self-control. Beyond their kindness and care, Tulip Kids also provides an excellent academic foundation. Both of our children learned so much during their years there. After graduating, they enrolled in a private school, where they adapted quickly, kept up with the curriculum with ease, and have continued to perform very well. We truly believe Tulip Kids prepared them not only academically, but also socially and emotionally for the next stage of their education. I was walking by & during their recess one of the workers with black hair in a bun slightly tall yelling loudly & aggressively at a little girl who looked no bigger than 2 years old & clearly was barely learning to walk telling her she wasn't allowed in that part & to go over there, she instantly started to cry. I spoke up & told the worker she shouldn't yell at her because she's so little. To which she walked away & since there is fencing and I was on my way to work there was little else I could do. I believe there's ways to approach children regardless of wrong doing, you could kneel down & speak to them at their level if someone spoke in this way to my child I would be angry, it was seriously upsetting to witness. This review is long overdue! My son went to Tulip from age 2.5 to 3.5, and although as a pandemic baby and a naturally sensitive kid he had a very rough transition, this was in no way the fault of his teachers, who were very warm and patient. He started off in the junior class before transitioning to pre-K, and I liked the teachers for both! The front desk (Ms. Celina, so sweet!) and all his teachers were consistently kind and had such great activities for the kids; they celebrated different cultures and had themes for each week, and also periodically assessed his skills to see if he knew his numbers, letters, shapes etc. He went already potty trained (though accidents happened), but the Junior class teachers were always patient and kind and I would 100% trust them to potty train a kid themselves. As for the Pre-K class, one of the teachers filmed my son singing "You Are My Sunshine" and sent it to us and it remains one of my greatest parenting treasures. Thank you so much for that, guys! And DID I MENTION....they FEED YOUR KID!! Having since moved to a school where I have to pack lunch and three snacks a day, let me just say, I MISS THOSE DAYS when we could roll out of bed and go straight downstairs without even worrying about breakfast!! The food was healthy too. Could have wished for a two week rotation just for more variety, but gosh, what a blessing not to have to constantly prepare and pack and wash etc. I wish the school had more space for kids to run around, and it would be great if there were academics other than worksheets, but on the whole I think Tulip does a great job managing a lot of kids in a relatively small space and preparing them for kindergarten. This is for toddler's classroom. We have been sending our kid here for the past several months. It has been a very positive experience for all of us. We like how the teacher(s) (Claudia) pays attention to our kid and follows up periodically. We feel well informed. They have a lot of fun activities frequently recognizing all important events bringing good awareness for the kids and parents. We like the food quality and the options offered here. Same with the toys available for interactive development. The communication overall is great from the school. We generally feel this center provides a more warm and welcoming environment for kids and parents. The only difference we felt at this academy as compared to others is the number of holidays that the school observes. It is a little bit on the higher side. read more

The teachers really care about the growth of the child without added pressure for both the child and parents. . All teachers take pains to help children go through various growth stages and helping parents learn through them. My kid started going to Tulip ( her first school) from 13 months of age.. the environment was very comforting and she started liking the school within a week of joining.Though the management overall is very helpful and flexible, we were fortunate to get her primary teacher as "Ms. Pushpa".. she gave special attention to her needs and understood her so well that my daughter started enjoying going to school soon after joining. Very caring, family atmosphere. We love how they celebrate holidays and customs from all different cultures. Our infant/toddler has really bloomed in her development since being there. She loves doing the arts and crafts they do there every day and has started singing different songs from school at home. We are amazed that she almost has the ABCs song down at only 18 months, and since we didn't teach it at home, she has learned it from Tulip. Highly recommend this daycare. I have nothing but good things to say about Tulip kids. My daughter has been going to tulip kids since she was an year old. And she has developed to be an amazing girl, for which a whole lot of credit goes to the loving teachers at Tulip. My son has been attending this daycare since February 2022. We chose it for its proximity and due to the fact that it serves Indian vegetarian food (my child has an egg allergy). We only have good things to say about this facility. As first time parents, we were worried about how our pandemic baby would adjust to being away from home for the first time ever. Thankfully, all the Tulip teachers are incredibly loving and went out of their way to make my son feel right at home. Within a short few weeks, my son started talking more and eating independently. My 2 year old daughter has been going to Tulip since she was 12 months old. She started during the pandemic in the infant class. All her teachers Ms.Maggie, Ms.Rosa, Ms.Deepthi, Ms.Trang helped in ramp up and she completely enjoys daycare. Now she is in the Juniors class and all her teachers Ms.Mai, Ms.Diana and Ms.Martha show immense care about the kids. They pay close attention to even small things and notify us immediately. My daughter had a small wood splinter in her finger, which even I had missed to see. But her teachers saw it and told me how to remove it. My daughter learns so much from school, and tells us about circle time, and her friends. She learns about various themes, cultures and festivals. Tulip has been amazing for our family. Tulip at Lawrence station has been a great center as a daycare option for our kid. The admin and staff are fantastic and is always a pleasure dropping off and picking up our kid. This was the first daycare our kid ever went to and the whole staff and teachers made it possible to ease in my kid and made it a wonderful experience. Teachers do a good job in communicating the lesson plan every week with a mix of fun activities and learning to read/write. There are fun events through the year for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas etc. Food is provided at the facility as well. All in all this has been a great center! read more

Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19, I wasn't sure if sending her to school would be a good idea, but Tulip Kids Academy made the decision so easy. As a first time mom, my daughter is everything to me. I was worried about the transition from the daycare home environment with 1 other kid to a school environment with 20+ kids. Tulip Kids Academy took safety precautions (such as wearing masks, providing on-site COVID testing, etc.) seriously and answered all my questions during the class tour. My daughter has been happily attending the Pre-K program for over a year and we are beyond thankful to the entire staff here. What sets Tulip Kids Academy apart from other places is the people. Ms Yesi, Ms Komal, Ms Karina are AMAZING. I remember our first week. First day jitters aren't just for the kids, it also affects the parents. All the teachers were providing us pictures and updates throughout the day and really cared about including us parents in the progress. They truly go above and beyond for all the kids. Not only do they patiently teach 20+ kids, but they take the time to bond and build relationships, trust, and really help the kids develop life-long skills. My daughter has grown so much thanks to these beautiful ladies who have shown us nothing but kindness and love. When she started, she was quiet and shy, but now, she's a confident, independent, critical thinker who's outgoing and always wants to help her teachers and friends. She's grown so fond of them that when we do pretend play at home, she only wants to be called Ms Yesi, Ms Komal, or Ms Karina and teaches my husband and I lessons she learns from school. The teachers really care here. For example, when our family dog, Brownie the beagle, passed away, our daughter had the toughest time. She lost her best friend and couldn't comprehend the permanence of death. The teachers and staff made her a card with all her friends signing, and laminated. To this day, our daughter has that card on the fridge and has happy thoughts instead of sad thoughts. Kind gestures like this mean so much to kids. We still can't believe we found Tulip kids off of a Yelp search! We were in desperate need for childcare and they just happened to have a spot open and took us in. I think we got extremely lucky ! We put my son in toddler class with the usual mix of guilt, nervousness and anxiety that comes with sending your child to daycare. The teachers at Tulips ,especially , Ms.Pushpa went out of her way to make sure that our son was given special attention during his transition. This made the transition unbelievably smooth for us. I was expecting at least a month of transition time but my son was well adjusted within a fortnight. Here's a list of reasons why you should consider Tulips for your child 1. The teachers also go extra effort to care for them and our daughter will come back from school fresh, tidy and happy. They also helped us with her eating habits which we struggled initially! My daughter started attending Tulip when she was 16months old, and the teachers there helped her adjust within a week. This was possible only because of the care and compassion she received. Even though we have been under lockdown for almost 2 months, she still mentions her "aunty" frequently as she fondly calls her teacher (Miss Deepthi). Our experience has been wonderful! Tulip kids academy at Lawrence station Rd is a great daycare with amazing facilities, caring staff and teachers. My son has completed an entire year in the Jr preschool class and we have observed him learning a great deal throughout the year. I enrolled my son in Tulips when he was 17months old. Being a first time mom n sending your kids to school is a very emotional process. Tulip made me feel completely welcomed. They have amazing set of skilled teachers who are super loveable and knowledgeable. My kid enjoyed every single minute he spent with his teachers. All his teachers Ms Maggie Ms Sonia Ms Gowtami Ms Trang Ms Rosa Ms Claudia(I know I m still missing few others so sorry about that ) they are amazing. Not only the teachers all the staff members are also absolutely amazing. Not to miss Ms Kajal who is the very first person we interact with, she is absolutely amazing as a Admin. My 3.5- year old daughter was with Tulip Kids Academy (TKA) for the last one year. She was initially in the toddler class and then moved on to the Pre-K/preschool combo class. I really loved how the teachers in the toddler class made her feel happy and welcome. Ms. Britney (she is no longer working there) made her feel happy and welcome. My daughter did not have a lot of separation anxiety and loved going to school every morning! My daughter moved to pre-K earlier this year. I was initially worried how she would fare there. I initially thought Ms. Sindhu was overly strict and was too focused on writing. I was SO wrong! Ms. Sindhu is super understanding and a wonderful teacher. I love that my daughter WANTS to write and does not think it's a chore! She has learnt so much thanks to Ms. Sindhu! It is amazing to see the change in her since joining the class! She has even started reading simple CVC words and her enthusiasm for literacy is all thanks to the wonderful teachers at TKA. Ms. Jo Ann is another wonderful teacher in Pre-K. My daughter is super close and attached to her. Once, my daughter cried because she did not hear me say bye during drop off. Ms. Jo Ann came searching for me so I could say bye properly. She is such a wonderful person! I really appreciate how good she is with the kids! Ms. Swetha and Ms. Dipti have a lot of patience with the kids! They really take care of every child in class. I remember volunteering as a chaperone during a field trip and I loved how they behaved with kids. I don't think I show half the amount of patience with my own daughter! My daughter is especially extremely attached to Ms. Swetha and I can see that she truly loves and cares for the children! I was initially very skeptical about the director, Ms Claudia. She didn't seem very experienced at first and I wasn't very sure how she would manage the facility. But boy, was I wrong! She is excellent with kids and she is also pretty quick at managing issues! I really appreciate the way she addressed my concerns about my daughter. Most people get defensive when you bring up issues but it wasn't the case with her! She was very patient, friendly and helpful. I also like that she insists on maintaining a folder showcasing the development (Gross motor, fine motor, personal-social) of every child and regularly holds parent-teacher meetings. The other wonderful thing about the TKA is the weekly science program (my daughter absolutely loved this) and the gymnastics classes. They have started Spanish classes recently and my daughter has now started counting and saying the days of the week in Spanish! I do have a complaint about the food served to the kids. There was absolutely no variety and I am not sure about the quantity of food they serve (I had to pack extra snacks everyday for my daughter because she said she was hungry even after eating). But overall, I absolutely loved TKA and can't recommend this place enough! read more

My daughter went to this school for an year and overall, I was happy with her school environment and teachers. Since majority of her time in school was in the pre-K class, this review is also for the Pre-K class only. Pros: The mix of teachers in pre-K was very nice in my opinion. Ms Sindhu is a no nonsense teacher who keeps the class disciplined. The other teachers provide a very calm and re-assuring presence. They all balance each other and seemed to be well co-ordinated. Ms Swetha and Ms Sindhu were my daughter's favorite. The director Ms Claudia is not the most organized person that you will ever meet (much like me!). But has her heart in the right place and seems to keep the kids interest above all else. Cons: There is a fair (some may say excessive) amount of focus on familiar-zing kids with alphabets and numbers. This could be in pros for some people! The food which they serve could be much better also we did have some concerns around the portion size and wished that they mix up the menu once in a while. Overall, I was happy and would have continued there if we didn't have to move our house farther away. read more

We have 2 daughters and they spent over 3 years combined at Tulip Kids Lawrence Station before we moved to a different area. What we liked about the facility: * they keep it very clean and they adhere to strict safety standards during the COVID times * the teachers like their job and the environment is very dynamic for the kids: they sing, dance, smile, talk, teach kids. Before enrolling, we toured a few other facilities and teachers there did not seem have any energy at all and did not seem to communicate and play well with the kids. * this school spends a lot of time helping kids to socialize and perform group activities. They have birthday parties, celebrate holidays from around the world, conduct pajama and costume days, so the kids are excited to go to the school every day They helped our daughters to grow and develop and we am very thankful for that! read more

Our daughter started at Tulip Kids Academy Lawrence station when she was 11 months old. It is one of the hardest decision to let someone else take care of your child. The amazing teachers in the infant class made this considerably easy for our family. The teachers are caring, dedicated, approachable and fun. The development we saw in her during the year was phenomenal. Apart from her growing interest in many activities, she also learned to respect others and well behaved. My toddler has been attending Tulip at Lawrence station for 3 years now starting in the Infant class. And throughout the time here my child has had the most loving and caring teachers and staff! We have made really special memories at Tulip thanks to the personal touch from the staff and management alike. The facility is just large enough to be sufficiently featured and yet small enough to provide a comforting and nurturing environment to the kids. My kid has been very happy to go back to school after the 3.5 month shelter-in-place due to COVID. And has been very excited to see his friends and engage in activities such as crafts, yoga, and outside-play. The staff and teachers are doing an excellent job as usual. We appreciate the efforts they are taking to keep us updated about daily activities through the ProCare app. I see staff wearing mask/shield without fail. When I speak with them they assure me that they are abiding by all CDC guidelines to keep everyone safe. And so far my kid hasn't had any illness since rejoining the school. This was my daughter's very first daycare experience. And it's safe to say all of us have really enjoyed the experience. We joined during covid times so it was great to see the staff following the safety protocols strictly and checking temperature of everyone before allowing inside. She did not fall sick even once for the entire period she was here. Even after just 2 days it was great to see that everyone of the staff (not just her teachers) already knew my daughters name and recognized her. Miss Maggie became my daughter's best friend in just 2 weeks time. Kajal, Deepti and all the other staff are also very friendly and respectful. Everyday my daughter comes home and sings new songs or says new words she learn that day which is great to see. And I think the best compliment is that she wants us to take her to the "school" on weekends too The school and teachers share regular updates regarding food eaten, diaper changes etc and also upload photos and videos of the kids (only with your consent). We unfortunately needed to move to another state which meant saying a painful goodbye, but highly recommend this Tulip kids academy center. If we didn't have to move I'm sure my daughter would have continued here till her preschool graduation. read more

Our daughter has been going to Tulip kids since she was 17 months old. This has indeed become a home way from home for her. We absolutely love everything about tulips. Right from the food, the individual attention the kids get, the organized efforts the teachers put in to make sure every kid gets good care and development is commendable. Kids bring back arts and crafts , fun projects and every week is a theme that kids enjoy and learn about. In addition they celebrate all special holidays and festivals. Our daughter has really thrived under the care of teachers and staffs here. Special mention to Miss.Trang, Deepthi in infant class, Miss.Yessie, Martha and Maria in juniors class. And Miss Kajal for being so kind, warm and professional in answering our questions.My daughter comes home and tells about her teachers and how her day went which speaks volumes for the fun she has here.She has also made a lot of friends and some amazing memories. My daughter has been at TKA for close to a year now and our lives would have been so complicated without the amazing teachers here - in particular Ms.Gowthami. All of the teachers do a stellar job , however Ms.Gowthami goes above and beyond every time. She brings so much enthusiasm and energy to the class. She provides discipline, love and amazing care to the kids. It's difficult decision to leave your kid at day care but TKA and Ms.Gowthami made it less stressful for our family. read more
