If I could give 0 stars for this firm, I would. The lawyers I worked with were extremely unprofessional and "mistakenly" misquoted me by $20,000. This resulted in me having to look for replacement counsel deep in my litigation process. My associate attorney was late for a zoom call with our mediator. They were never organized and when I would reach out for a call it would take them multiple days to respond and then more days from then to actually get on a call. My lead attorney in my case wasn't present during my mediation and it was left to the associate attorney that didn't stand up and put up a fight for me. Proceed with caution if you use this firm. I hired them for my employment case, and they completely ghosted me after failing to do even the most basic legal work. My attorney, Nora Ezzat Cozzillio, forgot to send in my counteroffer, ignored my repeated requests for updates, and then vanished. When I asked the firm for accountability, they refused to acknowledge their failure or refund my retainer. They simply stopped responding altogether, leaving me to negotiate my own settlement--which, by the way, ended up being better than what their attorney had suggested. I just wanted to come back and give an update to my original review in order to save everyone some money. I paid for a consultation with this group. The attorney I spoke with that was later assigned to me told me the remedies he would seek in my case. Everything sounded great so I moved forward. Then I started doing my own research (for free) and found that what he was going to seek wasn't even possible. Now keep in mind that you have to pay to even have a consultation with them. You would think with a law practice that requires a consultation fee that they would know what they are talking about. Well this one didn't. I should have listened to my gut feeling about them and just chalk up the consultation to a loss but I didn't. And that is one me. After moving forward with them, they did do some work but it was extremely slow moving. When they sent me questions to answer, I let them know that I felt like they never even read my case. They admitted that they hadn't and when they did read it, they used up the entire amount that I had paid them as hours spent reading it. When I first agreed to use them, the attorney had told me that after reviewing the case, he would advise me if I had a case that should move forward or not in order to save money. This was literally a joke. They did not care to learn the details that were provided to them. And when they did, they charged an astronomical amount to read it. They knew that I did not have deep pockets and promised me they would review this first thing in order to advise me. After I finally ran out of money to keep giving them, I decided to move forward on my own. I was able to negotiate for myself, a settlement that was 7,900% higher than what they had offered the attorney. Sometimes you can be a better advocate for yourself than someone that doesn't even care to learn your story without you having to push them into it. Bottom line, stay away. I retained Tully Rinckey to represent me in claims against my former employer. As an attorney, myself, I was incredibly disappointed in the quality of representation I received from this law firm. I cannot and will not recommend them to anyone. The partner I interviewed during the initial call impressed me, so I retained the firm, expecting to work with her. I never heard from her again, as my case was quickly assigned to an associate. After a few months, that associate left the firm, and I was reassigned to another associate and partner. I didn't hear from either one until I reached out first. The quality of customer service was dismal, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt for as long as I could. During the time I was represented by the new associate, I had to reach out to ask if they were aware that a deadline was coming up or had passed, I had to correct my pronouns as he misgendered me (in a gender discrimination complaint!) in a document back to my former employer, I had to edit any work he did because either the facts were detailed incorrectly, or a crucial detail was simply missing, etc., and finally, I was given notice by a partner at the firm that the first associate had missed a deadline, and my claim would likely be dismissed on procedural grounds. There was no apology and no offer to make right. When they sent me my final case file after I fired them, they included another client's information, which is a huge red flag for me. I hope my information is safe. I have several other issues with their representation that I will not include here at this time. When I undertook a fight against my former employer, the last thing I ever expected or needed was to have to fight the firm who I hired and paid to fight for me. Services requested - Attorney Paul Friener for - wrongful termination, denied reasonable accommodations without reason, & disability harassment. I'm a tetraplegic and paraplegic, wheelchair bound and a company WELLMED, who is umbrella'd under UHC insurance hired me to work remotely and then fired me because they didn't want to work with my disability. I spoke with Paul Friener in San Antonio, TX and he seemed knowledgeable in complex cases such as these, he was kind, a great listener, was upfront and honest. The only reason I rated them 3 stars is the retainer fee - 50K. Idk who has that kind of money but I definitely don't and would be nice if they offered ProBono cases or cases where they waive the initial upfront 50K and then only take after the case is won. Paid $150 for hr consultation with attorney regarding employment matter. Of course they are eager to take on case and push for $2500 retainer to get started. I was advised they would immediately submit a demand letter. Took over a week for them to submit a demand letter. Contacted them multiple times about it and said if they delayed much longer, I would no longer have a job. They said not to worry. If I was let go prior to completion of demand letter, they would include it in the damages. However, what they failed to mention is they require another $25,000 to recover those loses. Insane. Business model is set up to hook clients with a reasonable $2500 retainer - which they do practically nothing to earn.... then sit back and wait till you are forced seek litigation to resolve original matter, where they get to claim it requires another $25,000 (in my case, for them to clean up the mess they are partially responsible for creating to begin with!) Trying to resolve anything with their "client assurance committee" is a complete joke and waste of time. Basically, they just push to undermine the basis of your complaint to the point of you just dropping it. Very biased. Knows nothing about the details of the matter and insults you by reading your attorney-client agreement to you over the phone. Don't waste your time or money on these guys! read more

So I paid $150 for up to an hour federal employment law consultation with Derrick from Tulley Legal from noon to 1pm. Most responses to my questions were pretty much depends on judge and need to wait for decision. Although I did discover I can Google docket and apparently I'm not receiving pertinent court documents shown in case. Thought doesn't hurt to try, but obviously waste of time and $. Conversation ended with being advised of $25k "evergreen" retainer fee should I choose to hire firm. Now I get why they wait until end of consultation to advise of impending fees. The first two emails went to a wrong "official." Then I discovered that the "associate" was a new hire, hired two weeks prior. When I told them that their first email went to a wrong official, they apologized but again sent the second email to that same wrong official. I had to ask them to change the associate lawyer but they still charged the hours for her "mistakes," the second lawyer promised me to issue a refund but I saw nothing until I had to escape. Expensive and awful experience with assigned attorney/biller/firm regarding a motion for attorneys fees to the MSPB. Paid over $6,200. No one contacted me after paying 5k retainer and the attorney billed me $60 for me calling the firm more than a week later to ensure my motion was in progress and would me submitted by the deadline. She also billed me an additional $60 for her calling me to ask for my MSPB log in credentials to submit said motion. She also had no idea I sent an email from opposing counsel stating he would not dispute reasonable attorneys fees to the firm's documents box as instructed during my consultation. When I called to discuss termination, the biller essentially called me a liar and chuckled when I said my attorney called me for my log in credentials to submit the motion. Learned that I was going to be billed an unknown amount in excess of my 5k retainer only by reading the motion submitted to the MSPB. read more
