One for the bar area and one for the dining area. The bar area is on the small side, but doesn't seem to impede how busy this place can get. The bar stretches much of the room and there are some tables to sit at if that's your thing. Bar games are aplenty, if I remember correctly there is a foosball table in here. Drink prices are what you would expect from any bar. And if this isn't your thing, then don't come here, smoking is allowed inside. Parking isn't bad, so that's always a plus.

In this part of Johnstown, it definitely is a rough area. Parking is either on street or across the street in a gravel parking lot beneath a billboard. If you do park in that lot, do be carful crossing the street as it can be a busy one. Plus there is a slight curve that a driver might not see you while your rush across the street. Once inside you can tell that it lives up to the bar and grill in its name. It has this look inside that gives off this 80s dining vibe. One that calls back to those eateries once found in the mall. You know, those ones where it's almost too dark to see yourself let alone the menu. One where it is very dark wood, heavy on the brick, and all things that make you feel like your in and old time inn. Once settled at a table, we had our menus in hand and were given some time to look them over. Our server came back, took our drink orders and left us for a few more minutes to finalize our decisions considering the menu. Once we decided orders were place and we just waited for our food to come out. It gave us time to look around the place and take in our surroundings. When we first got here, there weren't many people. As we ordered, there were more and more customers that came in. Filling up the tables and making it feel warmer. We were in the midst of conversation and our food came out. I ordered the Franklin Street Bar & Grill Famous Meatloaf. This comes with a slice of the thickest homemade meatloaf I have ever seen. Plopped on top of a pile of mashed potatoes then topped with fried onion rings and smothered in brown gravy. This thing, even though not exactly as described and pictured, was delicious. Not sure if it is fame worthy as I have never heard of it, but hey, I will make sure to remember this when in the area again. To note, entrees are served with your choice of soup, salad, or applesauce, and comes with a homemade dinner roll. The service here is stellar. They all go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and their memory is like a vice grip. One thing you do need to keep on your toes about here, watch your step. I'm glad I finally did to check this place of my to try list. From the outside, it looks like a typical hole-in-the-wall bar in the Johnstown area. When the server came back around to take our drink order she asked if we needed a few more minutes, yes, we did. When she returned I was ready to go. I ordered the Pickle Chips as my appetizer and the Howler as my main. The Pickle Chips were served with a side of ranch for dipping and they were amazing. Perfectly coated, not too much and not too little. Dipping in the ranch cooled them down just enough to be enjoyable. Now, the Howler, is kind of an experience. The Howler is one of their signature burgers. Half-pound patty cooked to your liking. The set toppings on this burger is bacon, choice of cheese (American Cheddar, Swiss, Provolone, or Pepper Jack), meat sauce, and a fried egg. You also can choose to add lettuce tomato onion and pickle. For mine, I went American for the cheese, lettuce, onion and pickle. There really wasn't any need for condiments as there was already so much on the burger to give it flavor. It almost comes off as either a breakfast burger or a chili cheese burger.
