Even though the crowds were crazy a sweet sales lady named Corrine did an awesome job trying to help us find the right set. The Samsonite outlet had plenty of options and a nice selection of styles to choose from but none with all three required features at an affordable price. There was a close contender with a new body style but the colors were limited to blueish grey or black grey, so our luggage search continues.

He was very informative and made me feel comfortable with my decision. I originally went into the store looking for new luggage because my old luggage broke its wheel. I ended up purchasing two pieces of luggage which I am very happy with and will also be bringing in my old luggage to be fixed. Although the store can be crazy at times as it was when I was there the service is remarkable and can really make the whole experience. They keep fresh version of most of these products in the back. Though they are pricey, the store offers discounts between 15%-50% on different items. I was at the store looking for a sling bag. There were about ten different models in the store. I had a hard time picking a color, since all of them were so nice. Finally picked a navy blue one that was also cheaper among all the models as well. It also had 30% off. We were also lucky to find some winter jackets that were exactly our side and on 50% sale. So, we got them as well. The jackets came with their own storage bags, that were such top quality as well. The associate was very friendly. She brought a new sling bag from the back and nicely packed all our items. Catherine stated they had none in stock (even Bric's website listed them on back order). However, she provided me with "knock your socks off" customer service; did a store search, found some, AND sent me the link to order. This was Monday. I contacted Bric's who referred me to their webpage where a list of approved dealers were listed. I contacted Square Luggage and sent the requested information and photos of the broken part. They were extremely helpful and told me the cost if the part and shipping which I found very affordable. After a quick phone call they were able to have the replacement handle to me and the suitcase again looks brand new. I likely won;t be able to shop their store directly; however, reviewing their website I will definitely keep their information for any future needs.

I received my Away Carry On Flex in good condition…read more Unfortunately, mine arrived with a defective lock and I couldn't input a code. That's where things went south. I had to deal with Away customer service. You can't talk by phone to Away so you have to communicate by written message via their website. A real pain for an item this pricey. After a lot of back and forth, they asked me to take a video of the problem! This is a real imposition on the customer, but I did it anyway. I ended up sending it to them in 3 different video formats (something the average customer wouldn't do but I'm a video editor) because NONE of them worked. As if I hadn't spent enough time on this, their next solution was to send me a lock repair kit! I would have to install it myself. I am not handy and I refused this "help." Eventually, they simply did the right thing the way they should have in the first place and sent a replacement. The lock on this one works fine. The new Flex arrived in a very nice silk-like bag which hadn't been included in my first order and this time the packaging included a QR code that sent me right to convenient videos that explained the lock and other details. All very nice: but why didn't I get these the first time? Unfortunately, it still had the world's worst-designed luggage tag. If someone with an engineering degree would tell me how it works, I'd appreciate it. All in all, if I knew it would take hours of my life to deal with a minor problem I would not have ordered this item from this company. I have no complaints about the product itself as long as it works the way it should. And no one at the company was mean or nasty. But heaven help you if anything is wrong and you have to deal with Away customer service.

The black internal compression pad was defective and completely unusable. They mailed a navy navy blue piece, which completely clashes with the Coastal Blue exterior and black interior. This is a premium suitcase that I have barely used. Forcing an aesthetic mismatch makes the bag look cheaply patched together and ruined. Since they cannot supply a matching component to fix this manufacturing defect, I asked for a full bag replacement under Lifetime Warranty. I expect the premium product I paid for to maintain its functional and visual integrity. They did not, and the inside looks awful and I am forced to keep it when they could easily exchange. Terrible experience!
