A zipper broke on the removable cover on my son's baseball catcher's bag. Anyone who has a child in…read morebaseball/softball knows gear can be expensive, especially anything having to do with catcher's gear. We had won the bag in a raffle, and it is expensive to replace (about $200). So I took it down to Luggage Service to see if it could be repaired. The owner was there and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He understood the issue immediately and explained my options. Instead of recommending the most expensive fix (replacing the entire zipper), he recommended permanently attaching the cover to the bag with a piece of leather at the detachment point where the zipper was broken ($30). He said that it's the most economical option and would make the zipper more "boy proof." He said to leave it with him and it would be done in a couple of hours. When I returned a couple of hours later, the bag was behind the counter and his daughter greeted me as soon as I walked in. If you go onto their website, the business has an incredible 107 year history in Tampa with several photos of how the company grew over the century and the historic buildings they occupied. She and I talked about that for a few moments as she cashed me out. Before you throw out a damaged bag or suitcase, consider Luggage Service Repair! They also have a huge selection of luggage and other types of bags for sale in their showroom.

The couple that works on leather in the back prides themselves on being leather experts however a few leather projects that they actually charged me a lot have been mediocre at best. you can see that some leather was cut like a two years old did it and the stitching in some places was crooked its like they were in a rush of doing it. Also an older gentleman (not sure i think he is the original owner) is not very nice and couple of times he barked that something not worth fixing or he made remarks that he will not use a certain zipper (later it was perfectly done by another person) So at first this shop was ok but it went downhill with other projects. Like the very last order was horrible and when i came to pick it up i asked for a different zipper pull (which they promised in the first place) and the guy who works in the back with no patience acted so mad that he almost threw the leather piece on the counter. They also when they first tell you about your order and make you pay upfront but then a few other times they switched the details and never called doubt it. For example one luggage piece we talked about a certain leather color for the handle but when i came to pick it up it was a different leather (it was close to the one i picked and i didn't say anything) but they did not even bother to call me to inform about it. Unless it is a warranty project i would avoid this place at all costs. I actually found another company with much nicer people.

CAVEAT EMPTOR! (Trans. BUYER BEWARE)…read moreDONT EVER SHOP HERE! This store is the worst kind of tourist trap, they don't care about their customer at all. The man who pressured us into purchasing a totally mis-measured, cheaply made, floor model suitcase (for $25 more than you can get it on-line) refused to give us the Military discount because it "would involve too much paperwork." This same man, Akeem, did not inform us that all sales (not just floor models) are final. Now they are playing a game where some fictitious "regional manager" in Orlando (the Orlando staff denies that Luggage Factory has regional Managers) will call us back to settle the dispute. My recommendation is to avoid this store at all costs; but if they do succeed in pressuring you into purchasing some of their exotic junk-luggage, rather than wasting your time and being further abused, dispute the purchase with your credit card company or file a small claims action. These people are really shady! UPDATE: Sameet from the Orlando Store called and authorized the refund. The girl at the Wesley Chapel Outlet location couldn't have been nicer about processing it quickly. The warning still stands, if you are getting terrible, abusive customer service just leave! As for the merchandise, you can get the same or similar luggage for less money on-line.

Now I got interviewed the first time the lady liked me and told me to come in for a second interview- The black manager woman who is lead over cash register is so ratchet and ghetto- First she looked a hot mess I tried to reach to shake her hand she said we don't do hand shakes- then she did my interview at the register.. like she already had in her mind not to hire me but Good Lord!! she could've did that better!! i work at Walmart 8yrs and even though I'm no longer there they interview was better then this and they pay way more.. I'm content with my $18.00 job but she needs to humble herself cause she not nobody better then nobody else.. That why they always got that hiring sign outside- They only pay $12 respect people they dont know people struggle..

Out of the corner of my eye I saw something move swiftly, with a long tail. It was a nasty rat!!! A fat one too! I think it'd been eating the pet food for a while, because it was enormous. That really turned me off, and I haven't come back since. But, since I've been traveling a lot more lately and I'm in dire need of new luggage on the cheap, I unwisely decided to come back here to browse. Well as I was looking for some sturdy checked luggage, suddenly a poopy diaper appeared on the shelf! I'm so mad right now, and disgusted. If they just cleaned and gave a hint of a damn, this Burlington would be at most decent.

I told them I already did that and there's not one back there. Apparently, they did not believe me. I asked about a manager and they said it'll take her a while to come up here, but she's gonna do the same exact thing. I told them to forget the shoes And I'll go elsewhere! Another time I went to fill up my Angel bottle and the lady didn't fill it up all the way, but charged me full price. This used to be my go to store but it's changed too much for me. I don't recommend them.

It really bothers me to post this review…read more.. This past Friday evening, unfortunately, I had the WORST shopping experience I've ever had while picking up an online order at Macys Westfields (Citrus Park). While there I decided to do some additional Xmas decor shopping. I took extra time looking for multiples of each type I selected and had to take extra care as the ornaments were glass/fragile. I would from time to time feel someone looking my way and would glance up and notice multiple "customers" glancing/watching me and following me around the store. I have to mention there were other customers there also shopping for decor - but no one that looked like me... Then a cashier that worked in the Men's Department (a good distance away)came over to the Decor section to ask me if "I needed some help." Already feeling very uncomfortable, I was ready to go. I followed her all the way over to the Men's Dept. I asked her if she had the appropriate paper to wrap the ornaments, although she mentioned that she would go over to customer service to get the right wrapping, she and the other cashier with her found a few sheets of used tissue paper under the counter to wrap over $100.00 worth of glass/fragile ornaments and stuffed them all in one regular bag, not a box as they usually do!! I was pissed!! Before leaving, I remembered that I needed to stop by the perfume section to smell a certain fragrance I purchased online. Then a cashier, that did not look like me and was not assisting me came right into my personal space and started straightening up/arranging the perfume bottles and picking up the fragrance tester cards around me that Bella (cashier), was helping me with. Both Bella and I looked at her and she looked at me & Bella and apologized... Then Bella went to get a fragrance she wanted me to try and I asked her if I could try these perfumes on the tray right in front of me and she said of course! I tried one or two of them and something told me to take one full step away from the counter and when I did, I saw at least one other "customer" watching me as our eyes met, he almost knocked perfume boxes off the table watching me!! I decided not to buy anything from there! I was sooooo angry and frustrated!! I had to stop by Customer Service on the way out the door as the very nice cashier that helped me initially with my on-line order asked me to stop back by Customer Service to ensure I received the current discounted price... When I next in line, a guy walks out of the back customer service area to take care of me only... He didn't look like a regular cashier based on how he was dressed and he had a beret/hat on his head - more like security... He checked my receipt and some of the items in the box. I indicated that the cashier that helped me with my pick up order, recommended that I double check the items I ordered online to ensure I received the current/best discounted price. To add insult to injury - he appeared to be giving the items extra scrutiny... I was so angry by the time I walked out of there, I called my best friend in another state to tell her what happened! If it hadn't been so late in the evening and all that Friday traffic, I would have turned around and RETURNED IT ALL and am still planning to!! There were other customers there that didn't look like me and did not get the type of attention I did during my SHOPPING WHILE BLACK experience... As a 60+ retired military, disabled veteran with over 40 total years of service to my country, I refuse to spend my hard earned money where I am not respected and am what appears to be racially profiled - especially in times like these!! I have been a dedicated and frequent/recurring customer for decades!!! I'm so disappointed in Macys Westfields, Citrus Plaza Mall. So disappointed...
