The owner of the company was rarely on-site to work or to supervise. When he did show up it was always hours later than promised. Many serious (and stupid) mistakes were made during the renovation process. They were corrected in the end, but not without ramifications (e.g. a hole in our OTHER bathroom and a leak in our roof.) Get It Done Home Improvements promised to secure all permits and arrange inspections, as is standard. Neither was done. And when we questioned him, he lied to us. Overall the work was sloppy, rushed and not completed as promised. And now we have to hire another contractor to finish the job.

His attention to detail and consummate craftsmanship is unparalleled. Together we designed and then built this temple to tile. And boy were we glad to have partnered with John! As bathroom reno virgins, John made sure that form and function meshed perfectly--for example, our desire for a doorless shower meant a chilly emergence, so John advised us on solutions such as a heated floor (using a an electric wire system by Schluter, which he also installed) and overhead heated panels right above the entrances (or exits) to the shower. John is like the energizer bunny when on the job and kept us in stitches with his gallows humor. You would be an idiot to hire anyone else, provided he is in your radius. If not, good luck finding anyone as talented, meticulous, and hard working as John.
