If I had known that for one haircut I would be plagued with constant emails and text messages, I would have paid cash and walked out a happy camper. Not so much now, so all should be aware. We took our 1-year-old daughter for her first salon visit, and she was treated like royalty. She received a princess experience by Loly who was very attentive, patient, composed, and mindful of a rather fussy toddler (and frantic parents lol). It was a new experience for her, and Loly was wonderful! Our "1st Cut" session included a shampoo & blow-dry (which we skipped, because our little girl had a short attention span today), a haircut & style (we chose a little butterfly clip to accessorize), a baby manicure (with instant dry non-toxic nail polish & a little ring to decorate her finger), a balloon, a sticker, a keepsake lock of hair in a baggy, a commemorative certificate, and a "before and after" photo. We got the works! It all made for a precious memory and such a lovely experience. On our way out, we also let our princess choose a toy (they have quite the assortment of colorful trinkets, cute stuffed animals, and unique play things for sale). The souvenir shop by the register is age appropriate and decently priced. Jaelyn was another exceptionally sweet stylist we met, who helped at checkout. Leaving Sharkey's in Magnolia felt like an afternoon celebrating with the family. Our baby girl was giddy for hours, and her hair (and painted nails) look absolutely adorable! It is wholesome, warm, inviting, and a super cool/cute establishment with phenomenal customer service.... A feel-good place where kids rule and get the most darling makeover. 100% recommend and will be back!

I received Four messages regarding my appointment and asking me to confirm it. I confirmed each time. It's very odd because there was ZERO APOLOGY OR CARE from their receptionist. When I stated that I was in the parking lot, she replied with, I called you 30 minutes ago. I don't think this person realizes that caller id shows when someone calls and/or texts. The salon was exceptionally unprofessional and quite frankly, downright rude. I was promptly kicked out of my chair at 43 mins into the appointment with halfway wet hair. Very bizarre. I guess when I think of the "salon" experience, I don't think of speed.
