The first time we came here, the stylist, Rose, did an amazing job. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. We clearly explained that we did not want our child's hair short, just trimmed so it would not stick up, and specifically asked for scissors only. The stylist, Gladys, dismissed us, said "I know what I'm doing," and then proceeded to buzz our child's hair anyway. She was rude, did not listen, did not acknowledge our concerns, and did not look at us during the process. They hacked my sweet angel's hair. When we signed in, I told them she was a girl. Wrote "F" on their little sign in sheet. A 3 year old girl. I said the back of HER hair needs a trim. When I tell you that this girl started just hacking away at my daughter's ringlets, she was legit grabbing pieces and chopping. Didn't even fully wet her hair with the spray bottle. Not only did I have to go home and try to fix my DAUGHTERS hair, the stylist kept calling her a boy the whole time. Which makes sense, because she gave her a BOY haircut. Cut the front of her bangs and hair so fast and without caution that it wasn't able to stop it. Then she tried to cover up the fact that the front was 3 inches shorter than the back by putting butterfly clips in HER hair after I told her about 10 times she was a girl and corrected her each time. My toddler has short curly hair. It's just hair, but it's going to take forever to grow back. So disappointed. Given we were the only ones in the salon, I would have hoped there would have been more care and time spent not just chopping random pieces. I can't even put her hair up in a half up pony much less the full ponytail I was able to put it in before. Do NOT trust them with your kids hair. Especially if you have a kid with curly hair. We requested the Baby's 1st Cut and it went really well. Sheree did the buzz in less than 2 minutes. We chose to get a buzz all over to make it easy for everyone. They package the hair and place it on a certificate with baby's picture. Really cute and thoughtful and there's a small playground inside so while dads or siblings are cutting cut, the kids can play. I would just clean it a bit more. It's hard to keep a salon really clean but you could tell the floors hadn't been mopped in quite some time. The bathroom was not clean either. I usually have a great experience coming here. but this visit was not very good. I had an appointment at 10am, there was no one at the location when I arrived. I called the location a few times and no one was inside. the stylist arrived close to 10 minutes after my appointment time. She started on my almost 3 year old, he is sensitive to the clippers so he does move a bit but I've never had it look so choppy. I had her go back through with texturing shears to take some of the lines out but it still was not blended. It looks like he has a bowl cut. The cleanliness of her supplies were also concerning. They keep their tools in a caddy and there was dark hair all over her clipper guards and combs. My kids have blonde hair so it wasn't their hair. My oldest son was satisfied with his hair cut but I don't think it was blended very well. I understand that kids cuts are not the easiest but my youngest son is only comfortable going to cookie cutters and I don't think I will be returning because this experience was not pleasant. Got to this place on time for my sons haircut appointment which was 12:00. We got there right on time at 12:00 and the lady (Rose) was still with another customer. 10 minutes later she called us to let us know she was ready, I told her to give me two minutes to change my sons diaper because he had pooped. I ran to the bathroom to change his diaper, two minutes later came out and she said I had to wait for another stylist because we were not ready and she had to take the next client. We've never been to Cookie Cutters, but a friend recommended we try it. They have fun chairs for younger kids and a regular chair for bigger kids. Each station had a TV which really helped my daughter keep still during the haircut! Maggie was quick, but thorough and my daughter (and I) love her haircut! When the kids are finished they get a balloon & a sucker. The price was higher than at Supercuts, but probably mid-range. I thought it was reasonable for the quality if the cut. First ever haircut for my son today. We were very nervous because he doesn't like things that make noises (blow dryers, blenders, etc). It was the worst haircuts we have ever had and we have been coming to this location for 5 years. The women there on Sat 2/22/25 barely spoke to me. One son's hair was completely uneven. I had to pay someone else to fix it the next day. They were obviously in a hurry to leave and tried to cut both of my kids at the same time when I specifically booked them back to back so I could observe. Then she decided to take a lunch break at an extremely busy time and the stylist were having to check out their own clients. Not only that; but my son had to be redone in a few places where spots were missed and then when they got home I noticed how uneven his hair was. They didn't style it or anything. But one day I get there for my appointment with my son and I am told by the stylist there Maggie that I didn't have an appt because Abbie wasn't there. I get there and Maggie is there once and in a passive aggressive manner tells me she cancelled me this morning because once again Abbie was not there. I never got a text or email. I went back home and chose another appointment time and it asked me if I once sure because I was double booking, meaning my appt in the morning was never cancelled. I get there in the afternoon to an appt with maggie because she has cut my son's hair before and she wasn't even there. She had someone else waiting because she had stepped out. I already sent 2 emails to inform the owner, since I was told that's the only way and the only person that could address the issue and I never heard back. This place is trash. It's a kids haircut establishment yet some of the stylists have zero patience for kids. Some kids are afraid of haircuts, it is normal. If you do not have the patience to cut a child's hair then you should find another job. Also, it doesn't help that the entire staff is wearing masks. Kids want to see your face and smiles, not a mask with you speaking rudely to them. Covid was 4 years ago, your non N-95 mask is useless. My daughter took my 6yr old to get his haircut on Friday. When I saw his hair it looked like he had mange. It was uneven all over and had patches. I told her to take him back so they could fix the haircut. When she arrived they were closed for the day. I took him Saturday morning to get it corrected. When I asked for the information of the policy he said it's in your email. While reading my email that was sent to me there was not a policy of such attached. He then said I can show it to you. I became frustrated because he directed me to my email when you knew there was no such literature of a policy. I was getting the "talk off" with no eye contact. When I asked to speak to the manager his response was i am the manger I then requested to speak to someone else then he stated he was the owner and his name is "IMO". I asked "IMO" was he ok with the way he handled my concerns as a customer and he stated yes. I came into the salon very professional and remained that way until exited. I am a person who deals in customer service so I know 1st hand being irate doesn't mean you are goin to to get matters resolved. "IMO's" dismissive behavior and the lack of eye contact gives me a clear vision on why my son's hair cut was not a professional cut. She didn't ask how short I wanted the back of his head and she basically buzzed it. She tried to blend it with the top but it turned out to look like a really bad bowl cut. One side has a very defined line that wasn't blended at all. Blasa blamed it on his hair texture but with 20 years of experience cutting children's hair that's not an excuse.
