    Enjoyed this beauty.

Nice trails, horses are little old, they were nice to ride. They need better saddles for riding and environment could be better up kept a little more care, looks more like a run down property. Horses appeared well considering they look old. The bathroom definitely needs cleanliness attention, may be old but does not take away to have it cleaned. Our guide was a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman. Price for riding is reasonable. The trails for most part are smooth and you may see some wildlife along the ride.

I can definitely see you coming up with a really good or maybe not so good experience here. Lots of teenage volunteers and rescued animals. It was $20 an hour per person and we tipped or guide. We had a pleasant ride with our guide Danielle. She "ponyed" my 8 year old son for his first ride. He gets nervous and felt quite comfortable as we went on our hour ride. My son, my husband and I were the only ones in our guided group, which worked out well. I wouldn't want to be paired with some of the louder groups that distracted us from our peaceful ride.

Awesome place! Staff is friendly and horses are nice. The place is rusty so you're getting dirty. Take your boots! You're gonna have fun. Just be brave and get on the horse. If you don't know how to ride or are scared go to a place where they make you go in circles... they take you to a nature trail and is awesome.

This is my go to place for horseback riding. I've gone 3 times now over a period of 3 years and I have yet to have a bad experience. I've taken my 12 year old sister who was a first time rider and she had a blast. No complaints from anyone and for all the first timers with us, it gave them comfort that their first horseback riding experience was great. Seriously, no complaints here. $20 for an hour, SIGN ME UP!

Horses aren't supposed to be fat & it's Ok to see their ribs. See link for normal weight www.brodheadvets.com/userfiles/file/bcs_ht1.jpg

I've taken both of my children here for many years, and always had a wonderful experience. This is the only places I have been to, where they will let you ride the horses by yourself without a guide. Both of my kids have gone to the summer camp there and they are experienced riders. This is an amazing experience for children and the folks that run is are super accommodating and friendly. My only complaint is, that I can't go there often enough! Keep up the good work, and thanks for giving children one of the few positive experiences they can get these days. Houses aren't supposed to be fat, and it's normal to see their ribs. Nice and fun trail.

Do not go to this place. It is horrible. Horses are mistreated. Frequently find riders hurt on the trails.

He is very safety conscious, as well as patient, and easy going. He has been great at testing my understanding after instruction by asking me questions, always with a friendly demeanor and positive eye contact. Swede has taken me step by step from establishing a connection with his horse primarily through grooming (she loves to be brushed), to then learning how to properly put the blanket, saddle, and bit on the horse, to learning all the good basics of gracefully mounting, staying balanced on the horse, and effectively controlling it, et cetera. He is a most gifted instructor, and I have enjoyed my lessons and gained much confidence in riding. His horse Destiny is amazing, a super experienced and "wise" horse. In short, I highly recommend Swede for horsemanship lessons if you are a novice or know nothing about riding and want to learn from the best.

As a Christmas gift for my daughter my wife and I invested in horseback riding lessons. After some…read moreresearch we found a nearby business, Licciardello Stables, that offers riding lessons. We got set up with an initial lesson. Forty dollars for thirty minutes. When we arrived early for our lesson, one of the volunteers took us on a tour of the stables and surrounding farm. We saw multiple horses, including a thoroughbred, rabbits, a goat, pigs and chickens. There were also a handful of dogs running around. The stables and training areas were decked in holiday decorations with lots of picture taking spaces. The vibe was very laid back and the kids loved it. After that first lesson we signed up for a package of three more. My daughter loves her time on the back of the horse and all the things she has learned about riding. Her trainer is very knowledgeable and has progressed her to short, controlled runs. So why only four stars? Remember the laid back vibe? It is almost too much at times. During the second lesson my wife wasn't around. I went to check in but there was some sort of holiday gathering. My kids and I wandered around for a bit trying to figure out where we were supposed to go. Finally I was able to find someone and she got the people (and horses) necessary to get started. Since we started late, we were cut off short of our half hour. One other time we started late, not because we were late, and also ended short of half an hour. My daughter loves riding at Licciardello Stables. She loves the horse and the trainers that have worked with her. Licciardello Stables offer different camps throughout the year and hopefully we can get her to do one of those when the time is right.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with C Ponies, and I can't recommend them enough--especially if you're looking for something unique, meaningful, and truly unforgettable. What makes this experience so special goes far beyond just "riding horses on the beach." These are rescue horses--many of them coming from difficult or neglectful situations--and C Ponies has created something really beautiful by giving them a second chance at life. You can feel how deeply loved and well cared for these horses are. They are healthy, happy, and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. One of the most fascinating parts was learning that the water is actually healing for them. Being in the ocean supports their joints and overall wellness, so this experience isn't just fun for us--it's beneficial for them, too. That alignment made the entire experience feel even more special and ethical. Our guide, Raina, was fantastic. She had the perfect mix of humor (yes, some delightfully corny jokes), warmth, and knowledge. More importantly, you could tell she truly loves these horses and what she does. She made everyone feel comfortable, safe, and engaged the entire time. Walking the horses into the water--and even getting to experience them swimming--was surreal. Each horse had its own personality, which made it even more fun. You could tell they were relaxed, confident, and happy to be there. It didn't feel forced or transactional--it felt like a partnership between humans and animals. Living in Sarasota, it also meant a lot to support a business that is doing such meaningful work in our own SW Florida community. C Ponies is not only creating unforgettable experiences, but they are actively rescuing, rehabilitating, and giving these horses a life filled with purpose and care. If you're on the fence--book it. It's one of those rare experiences that stays with you long after it's over.

Would highly recommend! This is an experience you'll never forget. Thanks to Raina, Coral, Dori and Snooki.
