Kids 'R' Kids in Meadow Pointe is truly one of the best daycares/preschools in the whole Tampa…read morearea. I can say this because I recently toured about 10 similar facilities in South Tampa and the surrounding area (in preparation for a move) and not a single one of them compare to what my daughters have at KRK-MP. First, the classrooms are huge! The space that my girls have to run, play, learn, eat and sleep is unheard of. This is ideal, especially with all of the rain we have in Florida. I also think it's nice that the students don't have to sleep where they eat. There is space to do both, and the cots are lifted off the ground! Secondly, the cleanliness of the building, classrooms and the staff is second to none. Other daycares often have a smell of dirty diapers or food, and this is understandable in certain rooms, or even at certain times of the day. However, KRK Meadow Pointe never smells unpleasant. (It usually smells delicious from Sonia's yummy cooking.) They are very good at disposing trash, in fact I see them do it ever time I'm there! I also always see them cleaning their rooms, the toys, and washing the linens daily. Third, the staff is amazing, like family, and most have been there since we started! We love them all, and my daughters don't warm up to anyone quickly!) My girls have learned so much in the two years (3 years combined) that they have been there. The teachers are always smiling, welcoming, friendly and fully-involved with the kids. They don't just watch them, they interact with them. When I go to the classrooms, or view the cameras, I see the teachers singing to the students, doing circle time, showing flashcards, doing crafts, teaching concepts to the students, and, of course, changing diapers and helping potty-train! My 3 year old comes home asking me to sing songs I don't know and how to play games I've never heard of! She is constantly spouting out information that I definitely didn't teach her, but wish I had! Finally, the logistics of KRK is secure and comforting. There is a door code entry and touch pad exit to the facility, and then a computer sign in/out at the front desk. Then, each classroom also has it's own door that can lock for the little ones if necessary. The staff are always doing head counts and keeping within proper ratios also! There are also cameras for added convenience, which I love! I truly am grateful for Kids 'R' Kids at Meadow Pointe and hope I can find something as wonderful wherever we go next! Thank you Maritza, Ana Maria, Mercedes, Elizabeth, Kristen, Dawn, Sandra, Adrean, Courtney, Stephanie, Yesenia, CeCe, Alyssa, Katie, Tayler, Leslie, Amy, Elizabeth, Clarissa, Hannah, Courtney, Maria and Sonia!!! Ya'll are awesome! (I know the others are too, but I only know up to the 3s classes!)

Some kid hit me for crying, and instead of punishing him, they brushed it off and told me I was fine. There was hair and bugs in your food, and new teachers every week because they kept getting fired. I got locked in the bathroom in the dark and the teachers made no move to discipline the boys who did it. My sister was thrown on the concrete ground and the teachers made no move to punish the boys who did it. My dad had to get involved just for the boy to leave us alone. My other sister got locked outside for 30 minutes because they "didn't realize she was outside" despite the fact she was crying and banging on the door. There was bugs and literal MICE in the bathrooms. You could smell they didn't clean the bathrooms. It smelled terrible. When you got hurt, they did nothing. You could break all your fingers and all your toes and they would just put you in "The boo boo room" which is just a room with a bed and a tv. There was no nurse and no people with any medical knowledge at all. Please don't send your kids here, for the love of god.

Yes, I have seen frequent changes in coaches, but we've been fortunate to have had 2 excellent coaches, Tara and Cassidy. I'm also surprised to see low ratings, knowing that Premier has placed high in many team competitions in the last 4 years that my daughter has been a competitive gymnast with other local gyms. The facility itself is nice, offering bleachers to sit in to observe your gymnast during practice. They are a bit hard and don't have backings, so it can get uncomfortable after watching for over 30 minutes. The bathrooms are generally clean. WI Fi is available so you can be on your device while waiting. They've always been very accommodating and flexible, scheduling my daughters for private lessons. The reason I chose private lessons is because that's the first star dock: classes fill up quickly, and the levels offered for my kids' skill set are limited to availability, which is practically nothing conducive to my schedule. They do skill evaluations every 8 weeks to see if your child is ready to move up a level. This is nice so you can see your child progress. My only other complaint is that the parking situation can be tight. There is parking on the back and sides of the building, but traffic can get heavy coming in and out of the parking lot, making it difficult for you to drop your kid off. Other than that, the parent portal is easy to navigate, and you can see payments due, evaluations, and makeup classes available. They do team try outs in April, so we'll see how they do handling competition season. Otherwise, I'm happy with the switch from our previous gym, which was awesome, but the location was inconvenient, so that's why we came to Premier.

My group was brought over from our hotel on trolleys and directed up a flight of stairs. Once we found the correct door, we were led into the dolphin room. We had cocktail hour there, which was cool - as we could walk around the dolphin exhibit while enjoying a cocktail (or 3). After cocktails, we went upstairs to a ballroom area and had dinner and drinks, listened to award presentations, and then had a live band with karaoke. The catering staff was great, although the fish entree was cold and not very flavorful (not the fault of the aquarium IMO). This was a highlight of my business trip and I thoroughly enjoyed the dolphins.

Literally no fish whatsoever. You walk around the tank as you walk around the aquarium there are window all the way around, but again, the tank was completely empty. There were other areas of the aquarium that were under construction due to either renovations or expansion. Due to this there were multiple enclosures that had no fish are animals to view. It's a little disappointing when you are traveling for vacation and the aquarium was the place that your daughter was looking forward to the most. All this while still charging full price for admission. All that being said, they have a very friendly and informed staff and volunteers that clearly do a lot for the marine life. It is very commendable the way they are nursing injured marine life back to health. Definitely more of a rescue center than an aquarium.
