The reason for the 3-star review isn't due to bad quality, but due to inappropriate service by a single individual. Unfortunately, I believe he may be the manager. I had tinting installed on my 2024 Tacoma in September. I had to go on a trip soon after which resulted in me not noticing early enough that there was a bubbled area on the windshield. I took the truck back and one of the workers (didn't catch his name) was very gracious and arranged for it to be replaced. The tinting was replaced without hassle or fuss. Unfortunately, again I parked the vehicle and it was a week or more before I drove it again. When I drove, it was night time and there was a tremendous glare on the windshield from the setting sun and also oncoming headlights, quite nearly undriveable. I took the truck back to TCT to have it evaluated and Jeremy looked at my truck and stated a bit flippantly that the issue wasn't the tinting, it was due to acid rain. Not being a tinting or window expert, I was skeptical but accepted the answer and took the truck back home and tried to clean it. This did not yield the results desired so I went back to TCT to get help resolving the issue. I again got to deal with Jeremy who became quite agitated and grudgingly took my truck back to the work bay. He removed the tinting and pulled the truck back to front to show me that the issue wasn't the tinting. This in and of itself would have been fine but it was done in a very spiteful and unnecessary way. At this point, rather than allow things to escalate with my dissatisfaction and building agitation of how I was being treated, I decided to just cut my losses and take my truck back home not allowing him to do anything further with my truck which now had a haphazardly - and from the sound of it somewhat aggressively - removed tinting. This is my own doing because I left without allowing them to finish which he offered to do. Additionally, he did state before I left that he would replace the tinting, but given his demeanor, I did feel comfortable that a proper job would be done and I would again be left wondering. Again, not being a tinting or window expert, I still didn't understand the problem or solution. After spending a couple hours researching on the internet, I learned that it was not acid rain (though this is possible but mislabeled), but hard water deposits (calcium) from washing the vehicle which was the source of the problem. I ordered some cleaner from Amazon that I found recommended on websites (ProClean Water Spot Remover by GlasWeld) and it came the next day. I used this to clean the windshield along with a fair bit of elbow grease and I was able to get the problem resolved without all the drama. The product did a great job and cost $30 for an 8 oz bottle. It only required using probably about an ounce of the solution. It really did an excellent job. Had Jeremy had an attitude of helpfulness rather than spitefulness, I would still be a customer and I would still have tint on my windshield. Now I will find another tinting shop to have the tinting replaced and also now be armed with a bit more information of possible issues and how to resolve them. As it was, all I knew was that before the last tinting was applied, I could see fine, but after the replacement I could not. While Jeremy gave an explanation, it was not understood given that none of my other vehicles which are parked outside exhibited the same problem. My truck is garage kept so things didn't add up. I would suggest TCT purchasing and keeping some of this cleaner on hand in the shop so that it could be demonstrated to potential future customers who have a similar issue. That way they could see what the issue is and find the process helpful rather than spiteful. I would have gladly paid to have my windshield properly cleaned with that being the issue. I wasn't there to waste Jeremy's time as he implied, I just wasn't understanding the problem. If he was an expert, he shouldn't have to remove the tinting to prove his point. All of that said, I would recommend TCT as the rest of the staff were nothing but courteous and kind. I would however, recommend avoiding Jeremy if you have issues. - Mark read more

The quality of work is great. But you better make sure you clarify your appointment with them. We took our RAV4 in for front window and driver door tinting. A deer hit us and those windows needed to be redone. I made the appointment for the driver window only. Then called a week later to add the windshield. We live in Kingsport. They are located about 2 hours away in Knoxville. I called on our way down to see if they were running on time, or would they like us to come early to do the window and windshield. The receptionist said they only had the driver window listed. I told her I had called to add back the windshield a few weeks prior. She said to come on in. My husband and I showed up eight minutes before our scheduled time. The receptionist asked if we were the 3:00 pm appointment. I said yes, and she said we only had a thirty minute appointment. Two other employees, one of which I assume was the owner said "it would take longer because we didn't schedule the windshield. The other employee chimed in. It felt so confrontational. I wanted to just leave. I offered to have them just do the front door window. They said they could do both, but that we couldn't expect it to be done in 30 minutes. They persisted in making sure we knew we were wrong. My husband finally said "can you help us?" He added that he didn't want make two trips to Knoxville. I said "well we might need to, to avoid being a problem". The one employee said it would take an hour. I said we were okay to wait. They finished it in 19 minutes. My only complaint about the first install that was done prior to the deer incident, was that there were roller marks on the windshield that we thought were damage. I called the receptionist and she said we should bring it in. When we arrived they said we just needed to use glass cleaner to get the roller marks off. We drove two hours to get there for that. Could they have told us to try that over the phone, or better yet maybe cleaned it after install? My complaint this time is about the confrontational attitude. We left and now have roller marks on the windshield again. I hope that's all. I will update this post if not. A 19 minute install leaves me hoping it is what we paid for. I have glass cleaner to remove the roller marks. That's no problem. Though, I do feel it should be part of their install. If you go, just be crystal clear in your communication with them. I had 4 front windows tinted by Turkey Creek Tinting about a year ago. So this review is narrowed in scope to the product quality and installation after 1 year of use. The tint installed was Llumar's Formula One at 35%. It has a warmer tone once installed, sort of like Maui Jim's HCL® Bronze sunglass lens. For interior tones like Aston Martin's Sandstorm and Bitter Chocolate this is a perfect compliment from the color wheel, and white exterior's like Status White contrast beautifully with the Formula One tint. The 35% is the right choice both aesthetically and functionally with the Formula One tint. This allows enough visibility in both daylight and nighttime driving, leaving perfect daytime cabin conditions to use polarized sunglasses to view the road ahead through a clear windshield, or without sunglasses during night. At 35% the Formula One is suave and classy while offering sufficient privacy and superior UV protection. If you are a performance driver, going any darker offers no value. During installation a year ago, the existing tint removal process was performed professionally by Turkey Creek Tinting, and the glass was prepared appropriately for the Formula One replacement. The new tint was installed without damaging any surrounding areas of the car, although water drops were directly hitting the leather interior. Water wasn't left on the interior for long, however, and micro-cloth towels were being used to quickly mop away the moisture. Still, I'd prefer to see a process that eliminates anything wet or abrasive contacting the interior leather. The edges of the Formula One tint have held up well over a year's use. My front windows are a particular challenge to tint as a result of the Aston Martin glass matrix that extends along the entire window edge, but the Formula One cured well to hold the precise edge while giving a uniform look over the glass matrix. The installation area of Turkey Creek Tinting was clean, but it is not a properly pressurized clean room. This increases the risk of small airborne particles entering the space between the glass and tint while being applied. There are a couple of these imperfections that are visible when viewed under light on my installation. But I plan to schedule a return visit to Turkey Creek Tinting soon to have the back of the car detailed with the Formula One. Even if it isn't right the first time, Turkey Creek Tinting will follow-through until you're happy, at least in my experience. read more

Where shall I begin? First off I took my new Infiniti in for full tint on all windows. As you can see below in the pictures, the tint is army GREEN. (idk who would want GREEN TINT. ) It was discribed to me that the tint would be black. Obviously not. I paid $257.78 for obnoxious green tint. I reached out to the "company" to get the green tint corrected. They advised they would ONLY fix the front two windows because they were trying to tell me there was factory tint on the back three windows. I called the dealership, provided my VIN and asked if there is any factory tint on my car. What did they say? NO. THERE IS NOT. Obviously there was not factory tint on those windows, because if there was why would I put tint on top of factory tint? I called them back to advise what the dealership said, they STILL only offered to fix the front two windows BECAUSE THEY DID NOT BELIEVE ME. Let's talk a little bit about customer service, shall we? I called and made an appointment this morning for 2pm tomorrow. At 4:30 I get a phone call telling me that AFTER my appointment was made a different appointment scheduler double booked the slot I had taken. I was asked to change by appointment time to one that I could not make it to. When I pointed out that my appointment was made first and should be honored I was advised that the 2nd appointment was made for a dealer and those take precedence over anyone else. I would advise 2 things based on this experience: 1.) You need to coach your phone schedulers about things never to say to potential customers... for example, that another client is more important. 2.) You really shouldn't blatantly try to give someone the short end of the stick and offer no recourse. A reschedule and an offer of a 15% discount would have sufficed, however I was simply told, "you can come Monday". No, no I can't come Monday because I have a job. You may be able to delete this from your Facebook wall but it will be posted on mine and also on any site that your business is mentioned for ranking. Not Cool! read more
