Oh yeah! Another market in which to spend my money on tasty food. Turkuaz Market, although advertising itself as a Mediterranean market has a lot of Turkish food. It's convenient. The Turkish restaurant is down the street and now I can eat something there and then stop by here. Perfect. The owner and his wife have done a great job of stocking something from every food group. Because I had some trouble reading the labels, I had to enlist the aid of my Turkish friend (thanks BT) via phone to make recommendations and tell me what I needed to try. Basically, she gave me a shopping list. I finally gave up and handed the phone to the owner and let them talk to each other. The result? I now have some really tasty sesame seed breadsticks that melt in your mouth and a bottle of saray serbeti that won't last long. Of course, that's added to the things I already had: the Turkish coffee, cocoa, and Aryan -- all things where I didn't need to read the label. While I was there, the owner offered some brewed Turkish tea and it was a good selling point. The checkout line here was long for a small market, but most everyone in front of me had a grocery cart or a basket full of food. Whatever Turkuaz is doing, they must be doing it well. I look forward to visiting again to finish the shopping list. I have the recipes, now I have a place to get the ingredients.

Owner was spectacular, very friendly and attentive. Wonderful selection and clearly marked prices in English. Definitely a local gem.

I am originally from Germany and there is a huge Turkish population which means there are lots of good Turkish authentic food and grocery stores.

Great deals and yummy food court. The hours are a bit restrictive now since they close early but…read moreyou just have to plan around that. The duck is amazing and I highly recommend it. The pork and quail egg bao has continously gotten worse and been more disappointing every time I get it. I miss the old way. The salty tofu is only available on weekend and it one of my favorite. The store always have cheap prices and many Asian grocery options. It can be a bit crazy and chaotic in store making it a bit stressful atmosphere espically near the food court during peak times.

The service is never exceptional, but to be honest you never expect that. At a place like this. I would say the bakery has started to go a little downhill, and the fresh food And restaurant has not been as good as before, you can tell the starting to add a little bit more fillers, but it's still is a good pit stop when you're there. They recently enrolled a membership where you get points for the money that you spend there, which I feel like they should have had for a while ago, but it is definitely a bonus!
