    Must have homemade baklava
    Ricardo C.

the fresh baked pita and lavash bread is out of the world and ridiculously cheap too! Make sure and try the turkish delight as well. Olives, Olive oil and dates are also very inexpensive. this place is my new fav! Here's a top regarding the baklava: There are two kinds, one that is obviously shipped in from who cares where because the one that you want is what they bake in house. But if you want it, you need to get here early because by the end of the day it's outta there! They sell if 6 slices for $5 and it's made with ricotta cheese so it's not too rich. You'll know the house baked from the other because it's in a baking pan in the case as opposed to being packaged.

Great hummus - just add lemon
    Norma G.

This grocery\bakery is wonderful! I came here after reading all the glowing Yelp reviews, and now it will be on my regular rotation. When I first arrived, I kept scanning the fridge and couldn't find any hummus... Strange. I asked the lady working there and she pointed me to a canned food aisle - canned hummus??? Less than $2? That can't be right... I was skeptical, but because I was buying their freshly baked pita I wanted hummus, and didn't want to stop elsewhere. Well - it tastes great! You need to add lemon (says so on the can), and I added some garlic and paprika because I love them. I'll never spend $4 on hummus again! Chtoura Garden Hummus tastes homemade. The lady working there was so friendly and helpful, and pointed me to her favorite brand of hummus and a feta-like cheese. This tub of cheese will last me months and only cost $5. My tub of cheese ($5.99), hummus and pita cost $8.64. What a deal! They have great prices on spices and a wide selection of European chocolate. Looking forward to discovering more grocery gems!

Comprehensive inventory. We went to get grape leaves and wound up also getting baklavas. No more frustrating trips to area grocery stores!

They have the best cheese pie and Turkish products. Plus their prices are better than other middle east shops.

Great for specialty items. I live on the NC Coast, and I can't find good feta anywhere. Love shopping here when I'm in Raleigh!

The service is fantastic, and the same goes for the variety of treats (awesome candy selection) and especially that pita bread.

The produce looked fine but it doesn't compare to H Mart's produce area as far as variety and size. But H Mart is in Cary and if that is not convenient for you, this will work just fine. I'm a flour tortilla girl and they looked a lot like the fresh tortillas I had in Texas. The tortilla section consisted of corn, but they had plenty of flour and some cactus. (Update: Ok, I am NOT claiming to be an authority on flour tortillas by any means. But having lived in Austin for over 20 years and having near-unlimited access to HEB's house brand tortillas when they are so fresh the package is almost too hot to hold, I'm not a tortilla newb, either. I have to say - and I am almost embarrassed to say this - I liked Trader Joe's flour tortillas a lot more than these. TJ's reminded me of HEB's. These tortillas got stiff when I heated them in my cast iron skillet.) Large section of dried beans. Some of it surprisingly expensive, but as I said, they have a large selection so they had reasonably priced ones too, nearly an entire aisle of them. What I was drawn to was their selection of sodas (or "fun drinks", as we call them in my house because I am a mean mom who doesn't let my kid drink soda). Of course they had Mexican Coke and Jarritos, and they also had banana and grapefruit sodas, which I had never seen before. And they also had Topo Chico, which I haven't been able to find since moving to NC from Texas! Only mineral water, no lime. I love their cheese section - I wish I had taken pictures. I saw Salvadorean and Honduran cheeses and cream, which I would love to try in the future. I don't live that close but am willing to put this in my regular rotation, especially if no other grocery near me carries Topo Chico.
