You can obtain an appointment in a few ways: Call their toll free number or attempt online. I made my appointment for today; Thursday over the phone earlier in the week because I phoned them to discuss a letter I had received from them recently. I learned that I had to present in person in order to conclude my business. Interesting was that the person who answered the call was also the person I met with today. I liked this because I felt more comfortable when meeting her as she was already familiar with my needs. Name changes are currently being processed here and by appointment only. You must present with your actual DMV drivers license and "original" stamped signed and dated by the court "seal" for some services like the name change. I'd phone them to get the actual list before presenting in person for an appointment. There was a line outside the front doors when I arrived but it soon vanished because everyone but one person wanted to see an employee for assistance. Once they were informed that was not the procedure they left. The environment was so peaceful. Security is on-site and I felt way more comfortable seeing and experiencing this as I was thoroughly screened for weapons. Made me feel super safe. Lastly, it can get costly to work on your Social Security paperwork by mail and today I learned they have over-sized postage paid, self addressed manila envelopes for the public available here. Good to see our tax dollars at work.

Looked like my odds were up. After 20-30 mins they called me back! I was so excited ; to find out they had me wait to 'help me' book an appointment. This review is more for entertainment. I called 911 and we got an officer to meet us at the store to review footage immediately. We weren't able to find any good leads at first but Ace said they would call us if they were able to track the credit card information. We went home and within an hour officer H. Duncan got the credit card info, went to the thief's house and found my phone. He was able to meet us at the store to return it. Phone stolen at 3:15pm and returned to us at 5:30pm. This was amazing, and we couldn't be more grateful for Ace Hardware employees for working so fast to get us details and Turlock PD for following up. THANK YOU!!

The back half of his body was showing with ass hanging. My guess is he's psych. Tried calling the non-emergency number and was put on hold right away for a long time. After being tired of waiting and being concerned with the patient I hung up and called the emergency number. The same person answered the phone that put me on hold on the non-emergency phone number. She told me she was the only one in there and she had nine other emergency calls on hold. That's ridiculous! How is it you only have one person handling all the potential emergencies in this town??? And how quick and efficient are the people who might need help getting the help they need in a timely manor??? Get the girl some help!

So next option is to call the welfare office and I cannot get anyone to ANSWER THE PHONE, I called 4 times yesterday and Ive called 3 times so far today. I've also tried uploading files and updating information through their website and nothing happens until you call to tell them that the information was sent in, but most of the time you have to physically show up just to tell them something has changed or else your case goes unattended. And the fact that they make you go through such an extensive automated system just so that, at the end, they can hang up on you is so extremely frustrating. One of the people assigned to me also didn't fill out my application correctly even though I tried explaining my situation to her several times. Her mistakes gave me so many problems later on when I tried applying to other services.

Even during their operating hours you will not be spoken to and can not enter their lobby without a previous appointment . When you walk in the door you can't even leave a message for a return call. Standing outside their building and calling them during their operating hours, no one answers the phone, but you can leave a message. I have worked with over 20 building departments in several states over 30 years and am shocked that unlike all the other departments, this one cant figure out how to properly serve the public. When you plan to do business in Turlock City. You need to consider this and many other policies and procedures of this building department that will cost you frustration and money.

My rural mail carrier works out of this office…read more A couple of years ago I decided to invest in a locking mailbox in an attempt to combat the rise in mail theft. Sadly it looks like it was a waste of money on my part. Not because someone broke into the mailbox, rather my mail carrier occasionally (once a week or so) does not push my mail all the way through the slot and leaves it hanging out of the box right alongside the road. You would think mail carriers would be hyper sensitive to mail theft and do everything possible to protect against it, apparently that's not the case.

This is the same location that services the rural route ensuring the daily delivery of the mail to me which runs rather consistently. Parking is very limited here and there is streetside available too. I hope the postal service never goes away. We need it and some things should remain. In my humble opinion.
