On March 2nd, we were told via email that our preferred lot had a discounted price, which motivated us to act quickly and schedule a contract appointment for March 7th. On the day of that appointment, we were informed (as we were leaving our house) that it had been canceled due to a $30K price increase, and they would not honor the pricing we had been discussing. After a week of poor communication and multiple follow-ups, they came back with a revised offer, which we were willing to accept--only to change the terms again the very next day and remove the discount entirely. At that point, we walked away. While we understand pricing can change, the constant back-and-forth, lack of communication, and failure to honor their word made it impossible to trust them. If you're considering building with them, be cautious--get everything in writing and don't assume pricing or terms will hold. We've decided to wait for the new section of Rountrey to be released and will be moving forward with a builder that is more professional, trustworthy, and client-focused. Very disappointing experience.

I told them I was planning to do more work the next day (Sunday) and asked if I could send updated photos for a new quote after I finished for the day, since they weren't starting until Tuesday, and I was told yes. I was also told they would come to my house and look at the job on that coming up Monday, the day before the job was to take place. I message that Monday evening to see if this took place and I was given a new quote in which I agreed to, with the job still being Tuesday. Come Tuesday, they showed up and said they could not complete the job as it was too large and would take too long. This company clearly does hold their word and it turns out that no one actually came out to my house on that Monday before I was given the new quote, they just based it on my second set of photos I sent. This is 100% their error and they should still have follow through on our agreement but they won't.
