Could not hear a word she was saying because she would not take me off speaker phone. When she finally did she had an attitude about it. Use your earbuds for the phone call you idiot. It slightly pains me to write this review, as Tina was competent in some instances during our business with Turner-Monahan. We initially hired Tyler Monohan to take our child custody case. He was enthusiastic, said he could get us what we asked for, and that it would be a piece of cake. This was during the consultation, we are now aware that this is usually the case with bad lawyers to get you on board and to hand over the retainer, sign the contract, and get thrown to the side. When mediation came around, he said he was not going to be able to attend and that Tina Campbell would sub for him. Turns out he gave her the case. We were never informed about that change. Tina was the one that handled everything from then on and we never heard from Tyler again. That is such a scum move on their part. At least have the decency to message your clients about the change so they can decide if that's what they still want. That's how little they respect their clientele. During mediation, all parties, even our counsel, tried to get my husband to give in to everything the other party wanted. When my husband refused, Tina was a jerk and made it seem like he was being difficult. Sorry that my husband didn't want to lose more time with his daughter! The first trial is when Tina shined. My hope was rekindled because it seemed like she was trying to get us to our goal. Beforehand though, it wasn't easy to get her to respond to emails or get in contact with her until the day before the trial. She left everything for the last second, making us nervous and unsure how things would pan out. She would also constantly berate my husband, which upset me quite a bit. She had no manners whatsoever, and even she admitted it at some point. When we lost the trial and asked for a de novo, that's when she really started to slack off. She had clearly lost interest in the case. After we paid our de novo fees, she was nowhere to be found until right before the de novo. She asked us to be early to prepare for the case. We got there early, and when she got there she left the room for almost half an hour. She returned and spoke to us for like 5 minutes and then it was time to head into the courtroom. No preparation at all. Her languid presentation in court confirmed that we were at a loss. I prepared so much evidence for her and she only used 1 piece of it. Probably the least helpful evidence to boot. Then she had the audacity to ask my husband while he was up on the witness stand "Do you have anything else you wanna add?" Which my husband was not prepared for. What kind of question is that? You should be the one adding. To make matters worse, she let slip a lot of changes that the opposing party decided to make on the court order. She sent us a message with the order and asked if we had any questions. My husband did have questions and emailed her. She never responded and we have not heard from her since. If you think you'll hire Tyler, think again. You might get switched out to someone else, so proceed at your own risk with that. Tina, she's a good lawyer when she wants to be. However, she picks and chooses who she will use her skills for and I don't think that's fair, considering we didn't even hire her in the first place. And expect to have very little communication until she's ready. You will not be reassured and your questions won't all be answered. read more

I hired this firm in September of 2024 for the safety of my youngest daughter due to rape charges, a suicide attempt, alcohol and drug use, domestic violence from the mom and her boyfriend (since won't confirm married). I was told the suicide attemp wasn't soon enough for them to do some Exparte(?) and would be able to if had already hired them when occurred. My daughter did have a second suicide attempt that went unaddressed after hiring his firm and wasnt ever part of our readon for full custod. Imagine men if you were the primary custodian and your child had two suicide attempt don't you think you'd lose custody immediately?! If a man told his ex that he hoped his current girlfriend "found her beat her and watched her die.." to their minor daughter don't you think an attorney would also take that seriously? Not Mr Tyler and his firm. His response was "well I don't want to make her upset and not negotiate". Not sure why Mr Tyler himself did not take that comment very seriously? Not to mention Mr Tyler and his firm wasn't able to get a court date and actually get before a judge for over 9 months. Heather actually stopped making future court dates and when asked why she began to softly advise that I allowed the case to time out. I was confused as to why and advised I never asked her to stop making court dates. She quickly had one set within a few hours after being stagnant for 2 months. Both Heather and Mr Tyler had three years of paystubs, Tax returns and W2. Less than a week before another court date Heather emailed me her negotiations and calculations on what I should be paying in child support. They both calculated my annual income by more than $32k. I have the emails to prove it that she said I should be happy with the amount of child support because according to her "math is math". She negotiated I pay the same in child support as I actually take home after all deductions. I even being charged for not providing medical benefits when I have been for years. After Mr Tyler called a few days later asking him to review Heathers miscalculations he as well called using the incorrect calculation as well. I had to basically tell him that the one time not guaranteed bonus i provided the separate paystubs and disclosed that to all of them he oddly still called using a YTD meth without extracting the one time payment over 12 months. Math is math I agree and him and his firm negotiated my income $8900 gross and $6500 net. We had less than a half business day to the court date and me asking Mr Tyler sone basic questions and that it felt very unprofessional and unprepared he said I was making accusations and that Monday he would file a motion to have himself removed from my care. 8 months not one actual court date and he oddly is able to have the date originally set to correct my child support changed to being removed? I know my legal rights as a client and legally that is not supposed to be done in haste or emotionalily. He tried to claim I asked him to be removed and I did not. I told the judge Mr Tyler told me he wasn't having me question him and he was removing himself. He had no viable response. His staff is rude, Heather was 30 minutes late to our first consultation and was always short and demeaning. They negotiated more for opposing counsels than me interest and finances and fathers rights. I did not get one thing accomplished and wasted my money for sure. I am inquiring with a attorney that helps those that feel they might have recourse in malpractice court? If anyone has experienced the same then do the same and look for a firm that will protect your rights if ever his client as well. Know your rights! read more

I am so appreciative of how supportive & knowledgeable they were during a truly difficult time. Tina definitely was an advocate for my best interests, and was fair with me, my ex, & her counsel (I think it is imperative that there be solid relationships among lawyers & Tina had that with opposing counsel, due to her time, experience, and engagement within the Tarrant County legal circles). If you are in the Military, DO NOT hire this office to handle your divorce! I hired this office, specifically Tyler Monahan, to the tune of $5000 in June 2022 on behalf of my foster son, who was serving in the military at the time. Paperwork indicated his estranged wife, or her lawyer, filed divorce paperwork with the court in April 2022. My foster son was served paperwork to appear in court in June 2022, allowing only one week before he was to appear in court in Dallas, TX. However, my foster son was in the military, in San Diego, California, serving our country, and in no way, was available to appear before the court in one week. By law, he is protected through the Soldiers and Sailors Act, and Tyler was able to file necessary papers with the court to cause the hearing to be postponed and give him the time necessary to prepare for a court appearance. However, this was where things pretty much came to a stop. That initial paperwork was the only thing that was done completely, and as agreed upon, for the next two years that this office handled his divorce. When my foster son was finally able to meet with Tyler, besides phone calls and email, things were agreed to in order to get access to his 16 year old daughter, whom the estranged wife refused to allow access to over the previous 2+ years, since 2019/2020. Tyler was also supposed to file other papers to appear before the court to reduce child support and spousal support because of reduced income, change child support due to the estranged wife's failure to grant access to his daughter, and remove the estranged wife from credit accounts, all the while, she and his daughter lived in housing that cost way beyond his means, and hers, and in charging items to his credit accounts which forced him to be responsible for those expenditures as primary on the credit accounts. Tyler never filed these papers with the court, forcing my foster son to incur over 4 years of credit expenditures, which was the entirety of their estrangement, and 4 years without access to his daughter. In forcing the issue with Tyler and his office, my foster son was told that all of the $5000 retainer had been spent and additional funds would be required to proceed further with the divorce. When my foster son asked to see an itemized bill showing all expenditures, Tyler and this law firm immediately dropped him as a client and refused to do any further work on his divorce. So, again, I say, if you serve in the military, DO NOT use this law firm!!! If you want value and service, amenable, to the money this office charges, DO NOT use this law firm! read more
