Lengthy but important if you are considering Turner. Turner Pest Control's 3.2 rating is unfortunately well deserved based on my experience. I've used their lawn pest service for some time, and I wish I had checked reviews before signing up. I first contacted them in March after noticing clear signs of a chinch bug infestation. I built my home 22 years ago and have dealt with chinch bugs before--I know exactly what the damage looks like. Instead of taking my concern seriously, they repeatedly insisted it was just drought stress. From March through July, I called multiple times asking them to properly investigate. When they finally came out in June, the inspection felt very superficial. They ran my irrigation for a couple of minutes, did a quick moisture test, and again concluded it was drought--even though my irrigation system had already been checked and confirmed to be working properly. Meanwhile, the damage pattern in my lawn clearly matched chinch bugs, while the rest of the yard remained healthy. The most frustrating part is that the Monday after telling me I did NOT have chinch bugs, they returned and treated the lawn for chinch bugs anyway. That alone shows how uncertain their diagnosis was. Now my lawn is in the worst condition it has been in since I built my home 22 years ago. What should have been a manageable issue was allowed to spread because they refused to listen and delayed proper treatment. When I asked them to make it right, I was met only with excuses and no accountability. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to think twice before using Turner Pest Control for lawn pest services. read more

They bought the company I was using for Pest Control. Whenever they sprayed, I got a lot more bugs and they have never diminished. I do not suggest using this company. I paid Turner Pest Control and was given a treatment date for a tenting for termites. I made preparations: all the food taken out, bushes cut back, house trenched, all packed up with hotel reservations and waited more than nervously ready to hand the keys to my house to strangers ... and THEY JUST DIDNT SHOW UP; THEY DIDNT EVEN CALL!!!!!!!!!! I had to search through the company to find out that corporate had decided 3 days prior to my appointment to not to do their own tenting anymore, but no one thought to contact me! I further discovered that the replacement company now had me scheduled for 8 weeks away!!!! This is the kind of complete lack of concern Turner Pest Control had for this customer! I got a refund and scheduled with Fume Kings, but I lived all packed up in my house for the next 4 weeks. read more

When Turner took over from Fahey pest control everything went from good to terrible. Turner is constantly telling me that their people are going to show up to do their scheduled service and they never show up. It is one cancellations after another. I'm still waiting for them to deliver services that I have paid for in advance. One technician even stated that they're short of people because people are calling in sick all the time. Obviously their staffing needs to be corrected. I wish I would have switched over six months ago but will be discontinuing my services ASAP. read more

We had ABC Pest control for many years we never had a problem. After a few months with Turner They were not doing their job. We called them with a problem, the tech they sent was very rude and treated us like we didn't know what we were talking about., he never even checked outside.. A couple days later my son found fire ants outside our house going under the foundation. We called a local company who came right out and treated them right away. My husband who only has one leg was severely bitten and is still being treated. Turner doesn't return calls , and I would never recommend them read more

I put in a ticket on Monday morning to have a tech come out and treat a problem between my regular service visits. (As an aside, I am not pleased with the price increase and move from 4X per year to only 3X.) It is now Wednesday morning and over 48 hours later and I have not yet received a response. I am trying to call and there are 10 callers ahead of me as I type this. I waited over 9 minutes before someone came on the line. They need to staff more as customer service is definitely suffering and making me consider a move to a competitor! The woman who helped me was very pleasant and said someone should have gotten back to me by now. She put me on hold to see if she could get someone scheduled to come out. Call lasted a full 17 minutes and the soonest they can have someone here is Friday morning. This would have never happened with the company I had previously which Turner acquired. She was very focused on helping me, but I am disappointed that I 1. had to call to follow up and 2. that it will be 5 days between when I entered the ticket via email and when they can come. The rep found my email and gets a high rating, but I cannot rate the company higher than a 3 at this time. read more

Beware!! Had 5 mountain bikes stolen while under tenting. These bikes are in a (usually locked) fenced patio and not visible from outside the property. Whoever came and stole them knew the location of my cameras and had figured out how to avoid them and take bikes from a side yard. Never any theft on my property in 6 years and while they tented all 5 were stolen. In addition, their salesman, Jerry, said immediately that it wasn't their fault and blamed it on me. No compassion at all from him. I would stay away!! read more

Called in over so many times left my name, number, and was promised a supervisor to call me back. Did not happen! Over a year of being charged for the service I never received numerous attempts to speak with someone. I gave up and gave notice, however, they decided to rebate all my stations (finally) and then charge me? WTF! Then pulled all my bait stations that they rebated, charged me through another quarter and stole my money. Currently looking in to the legal actions since I have so many documented conversations. Turner Pest Control recently purchased Larue Pest control. We have been clients of Larue since building our home 8 years ago. Larue was wonderful! They put in our MistAway system as well as our monthly service. In less than 60 days, Turner Pest managed to screw up billing and then proceeded to send us threatening letters over a $101.00 bill that we never received! We paid the bill immediately over the phone and then got threatening collection letters AFTER THAT! The office staff are extremely rude and dismissive. After all these years to sell out to a place like this? Very disappointing! We changed to a new company immediately. read more

I've been dealing with this company for about 3 months. I am not the homeowner, I just rent. The property I rent from had an attic full of rats! Hobsons came out and closed up the outside access points around the house. After they left we still had rats. Hobsons as a company insisted that there was no long anymore rats, then finally sent out an employee who was rude and said we were making everything up. The rude employee set up 3 traps in a row right in front of the attic door, they set the traps with no bate!! After about 3 weeks of still hearing rats but catching none I decided to check the traps.. all 3 had NO BAIT and one was set off. Finally after calling and emailing this company they sent someone out to do a smoke test only to find out these rats have being getting into the house thru pipes that were not sealed off. I wouldn't recommend this company to do any type of work around your home. They would rather call you crazy, and say your hearing things and manipulate the traps so they don't catch anymore rat then actually doing their job correctly... read more

I had Turner Pest Control for almost 10 yrs. It was the company my 1 st condo had and they were excellent. They were purchased by another company and now, They just don't show up ...; They have a horrible auto phone system! Can not get to anyone. When you get someone; it's an annoyed person telling you that you were billed for no service after you waited 2 hrs and no one showed up. Then you have to reschedule and wait again. This happens a lot. They put me in collections, even though they had my billing credit card for my other homes on file. The termite bond was separate? So they just didn't use that card? WTF? They did correct it. BUt it is just too unprofessional. They were good; Now they suck. I have ( had) three homes with them. But apparently not a valued customer. I am waiting on hold - as I write this. To speak to someone about NOT RENEWING any of the services.(again) And guess what. ... ? 1st they said I have to wait until November to cancel! I insisted on speaking with someone. After waiting on hold again...They have to have someone call me back! Just don't bother until they get it together and they are not cheap! Turner just bought out my current pest control company and sent me an invoice stating that I had service with them on 5/25/22. I called and told them I was home all day with an air conditioning service tech and no one came from their company. The billing agent Marcs basically called me a liar even though I had a Ring doorbell showing no one from their company came. I also found out they were at my neighbor's not mine. No one has gotten back to me after multiple emails and phone calls to their company. I would beware if anyone is a snowbird and have them as your pest control company. read more

I have offered positive reviews for Turner Pest Control for many years......have offered......but not anymore. We have not been treated this shabbily by any service provider.....ever! I can't in any conscience offer one positive attribute ..... other than I "positively" would like to retract all reviews that I have written concerning Turner Pest Control. I recently fired this company for poor service. It was a great company when it was owned by Fahey. Since Turner has taken over the prices have gone up and service has gone down. I called three times with a problem and had to leave a voicemail and no one ever returned my call. Their office is in Sarasota but their customer service phone is in Jacksonville, FL. They don't contact you personally for a service appointment and won't come into your home unless you request an appointment. Their service is an 8 hour window, done by email, and I like to be home when the service is being done. This is the problem with this company as they don't complete the job and don't return to finish it. When Fahey had the company the tech would contact me via phone and set up a time and day to come service my house inside and out, and do a professional job. Turner's service is poor and their customer service in non existent....and very expensive. Had a small invasion of ghost ants and called Turner (our usual pest control company). Alonzo was the technician that came out to our house today. He was much more than efficient, polite and keep looking in and outside the home for the hole/cracks that the ants were using to get inside. he treated the outside where he found the activity, came indoors and watched the little buggers until he traced them to their entry point, treated that, and gave us an opportunity to go outside to see the tiniest crack on the foundation that was their entry path. I have used Fahey for 2 years and the last few times my yard has been serviced it hasn't been completely done. I have cameras covering my front and backyard and the last 2 times they came my whole yard wasn't done. And the tech was only there for 15 minutes. Rude and aggressive. I was renting a property and moved out over 4 months ago. Catherine called me while I was at work and left an angry voicemail that I hung up on her. I called her back right after work and explained that I no longer live there and referred her to the home owner or management company. The next day she called me at 8:00am and started accusing me of hanging up on her twice. This didn't happen. When I told her I left her a voicemail the previous day she said "I haven't checked my messages." Would NEVER use a company that has such poor client service. We hurd what we thought was nice running on our soffits. We called Fahey! thinking it would be a week, but they came in 2 hours. Instead of charging us big bucks, he told us it was just Squirrels running in our gutters! He did suggest a few things to keep it from happening again! Residential service -- Palmer Ranch. Great service! We have been with Hobson's for almost a year now and we have had nothing but outstanding service. Very good response -- saw roaches in our main bathroom and Hobson sent one of their employees within the hour! You cannot get better service than that. Generally, we have had absolutely no pests/bugs in our home because of their comprehensive pest prevention program. On every occasion, their office staff has never been rude as reported by another customer. The two gentlemen that have serviced our home have been professional and courteous. My wife and I highly recommend Hobson's to our neighbors and friends. read more

Fahey's Lawn Solution is awesome. My technician is Jermaine and he is very polite, professional, and courteous. He always knocks on the door to let me know he is about to fertilize the yard (which is really important, since I have three German Shepherds that love to patrol the backyard). My front yard has made a tremendous comeback from weeds, crabgrass and dead/empty spots. My backyard is coming back as well especially now since the sprinkler head has been repaired. I look forward to seeing how it looks in six months. Overall, definitely recommend Fahey Pest and Lawn Solution due to the professionalism of their technicians and their service! read more

I learned that Fahey does rodent control AFTER signing with another service that wanted $1,400. Fahey came out and did the job for $450, and I canceled the other service that had been recommended to me by Home Team Pest Control. When I complained about Tru Tech to Home Team their attitude was "so what" and I cancelled my services with Home Team .....NOTE: I had been with them for 15 years. When I told them I was cancelling they had a "we don't care attitude." Fahey came out and did the job the way it was supposed to be done. They were polite and professional. When I questioned the tech's I got good responses that were courteous and informative. When I spoke to the people at the office over the phone I was made to feel as though they were there strictly for me. Excellent company. read more

After discovering I had rats in my garage and attic (again), I called Fahey who sent Pam to my home that day to figure out how they were getting in and how to get them out. About two years ago Fahey came out and did a fantastic job getting everything sealed so this was a bit of a mystery. Pam took her time to walk around the house to check all the eaves, etc which were still perfectly sealed. It took a bit, but Pam located the source of entry which was highly disturbing: the rats literally dug their way in through a hole by the A/C line and were able to crawl up into the attic. Pam arranged to have someone come out for trapping and to look at the hole outside, and she also talked with me about having Fahey perform monthly pest control. I signed up for everything! Pam was great: super personable, knowledgeable and she was really nice to my dog (which is obviously the most important thing next to getting the rats out). Glen came on Thursday and did my first monthly treatment. He was so nice, also very knowledgeable, and he's also a dog lover. I asked a bunch of questions about what he was doing which he answered (I've never had monthly pest control service). He was thorough and took his time, and was very kind when I had a small melt-down about the rats. Jeremiah also came on Thursday to start the rat trapping process. He quickly got to work figuring out how to get the hole blocked from the inside to make sure they couldn't get back in. Before he left, he took the time to double check the eaves again just to make sure everything was sealed, and even went a step further to make sure something on the roof was good, too. He was also really nice, very friendly and knowledgeable, and willing to answer all my questions. He came back the next day to clean the traps and we caught two so far! Finally, when the accounting department was setting up my account, they noticed a small calculation error on my monthly pest control bill in my favor. I received a really nice email from Deb who explained what happened and that she had it corrected. Frankly, I would have never noticed and most likely wouldn't have cared (it was 30 bucks), but Deb taking the time to email me about the mistake and that it was already corrected speaks to the integrity and ethics of Fahey and the commitment they have to their clients. In summary: great company, great service, and most importantly, great people. I'd give 6 stars if that was an option. read more
