With that in mind, I wanna say I am deeply grateful for this school. They have great systems in place with low ratio and really teach the little ones a lot while they're there. I can solidly say that at two years old my daughter can count from one to 20 and sing the whole alphabet along with about 15 different nursery, rhymes and stack blocks and has very advanced fine motor and motor skills because of the school. I'm a licensed OT and always felt safe with and confident in staff. Mrs. Nali, Mrs Dhammika, and Mrs Nayana are well educated in this age group, patient, and loving. All of the staff are truly wonderful. We went from infant, to wobbler, to toddler and transitioned very well. I don't know the frequency but every time my child which class they gave me a comprehensive developmental checklist to tell me what my child was doing or wasn't doing that was on track for proper development or not and that is huge. When you're a busy parent and don't always notice some of the things that Are typical or atypical to have some professional eyes to help you understand where your child is developmentally is huge. They are CPR trained and do a great job with making sure they're fed and changed consistently. My baby never came home hungry or never was crying when I picked her up and never got diaper rash there. If you choose to be part of the little app, you will get photos of your child. Once every couple weeks in the classroom is playing with the other children. They also send little videos and they do little Halloween parades and classroom parties. The Christmas parade is precious too! The focus of MONTESSORI is self-sufficiency which as an occupational therapist I really love. She would come home and if she spilled something, she would run right away to try to clean it up. She very much wanted to learn how to do things on her own and she knew how to threw away her own trash, which was not something I taught her at home necessarily lol It truly is adorable and prepares your baby for a successful road ahead with school and life beyond. My only thing I would change is having carpet or soft floor in the infant room vs hard floors. Other than that, everything really is done perfectly, and they have a lovely little outdoor space that they take them to a few times a day where they can ride bikes and do the slide and all of that. Learning how to operate in a group and look at what the rest of the group is doing and follow along is a critical life skill, and my baby has transitioned to preschool seamlessly because of her experience at this other school. In fact, one of her current teachers used to work at Wee care as well and has positive things to say.

A true reflection of Wee Care's dedication, and nourishing environment. During this time Leslie, who has raised 5 children of her own, and her associates have done a wonderful job of caring for my son treating him as a part of their family. I leave him there everyday with the peace of mind knowing that he is in good hands. They do activities throughout the day and Leslie, being a former teacher herself, ensures that kids are always being prepared for entry into kindergarten - not just in terms of learning ABC's and phonetics but also steering kids so their behavior and social skills are developing well. Leslie must have infinite patience, as my kid is a handful and at times and drives me nuts. I don't know how she does it, but I believe it is part of her wonderful personality. Kids are happy to be there. She sends pictures of the events they have for kids' birthdays, holidays, etc. She gives parents honest feedback about behavior and areas in need of improvement. Finally, I feel it's important to mentiom that the entire Chim Family is excellent, rooted in the highest of values. You can trust them with your most precious little ones. I know I have for the past 3 and half years.

I love how naturally they integrate early learning into the day--my kids are mastering their alphabet and counting well before starting school. They also provide nutrient-rich, healthy meals that have been wonderful for helping the children form great overall eating habits. Both of my children adore being there and actually miss it during long holiday breaks. It gives our family such peace of mind knowing Leslie has created an environment where my kids genuinely love to be.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Kap and all of the wonderful staff at Miss Jay's…read more After a bad experience elsewhere I was in a pinch and needed some where right away for my 18month old. I didn't want to leave him at all, but as a newly single mom I had to go back to work earlier than I had hoped. There was already so much going on for us both that I just needed to find somewhere where Miles could experience security, stability and hopefully feel a sense of home away from home. Despite being a 30 minute drive from home, as soon as we arrived to check out Miss Jay's I sensed that my son would be safe and comfortable here. There was an air of freedom in the kids and the environment was cozy and warm feeling. After observing for a while and chatting with Kap about how they do things, I felt confident my son would receive the love and attention he needed here, so I asked if he could start the following day. Kap made it work for us, and only now do I see how huge of a favor that truly was. It was a hard transition for us all, Miles cried every day when I left him for a long time, and he didn't want to nap for even longer! But every day as I left, Miss Brisa would scoop him up in her arms, so I knew he was at least being comforted. I know they all had a hard time trying to get him to nap, but they let him go at his own pace and stuck with it and eventually, after a lot of love and reassurance, he finally realised it was safe to close his eyes and sleep there. I was just so happy when it got to the point where he was excited to go to school and see his friends and his teachers! He would bring home crafts, we got pictures of their holiday parties and I could just tell he loved going to school. He actually often didn't want to come home at the end of the day!! I'm just so grateful for Miss Jay's and we are so sad to leave. If it were closer to home he'd be there until it was time for big boy school! But he is a little older now and so we are transitioning him to a little larger preschool closer to home. They have big shoes to fill!! So I'm really hoping things go smoothly and he grows to like it as much as he did Miss Jay's. Thank you again Kap and everyone at Miss Jay's for taking such good care of my baby!! We will always remember and cherish our time with you

the lack of wanting to be more attentive when it comes to our children…read more one of the teachers that I spoke with didn't seem like she was very happy about being there. And i didn't just notice that because my baby almost got her fingers smashed on a storage container by that teacher. i noticed when I asked her where my baby's clothes where, and still her face was just showing she was very unpleasant to be there. I brought up how, safe they are if there'a a kid following the teacher and how they try and get them to safety away from the door if there fingers are right by the Door. I asked this Because the teachers face didn't move to look down at my child when closing the door intal she needed to look where she was going. Even if her years of experience are there , this that I expirence didn't tell me anything about her experience in daycare. And I say this because she finally acknowledge her after when she was the only one by her. The baby had her fingers pointing at the inside the storage while the lady just closed it. She never said " anything to her " she didn't move her mouth at all. Idk if she didn't wanna acknowledge her because she didn't go there yet. all the kids there I did get to acknowledge all of the wonderful kids they have, because it isn't hard to look at them and talk to them even when thats what a teacher is. But the older man response was "I should find other daycares".
