As a parent who felt very anxious about leaving my daughter in someone else's care, I cannot say enough about how kind, patient, and understanding the staff were. Their flexibility and warmth really helped put me at ease during a transition that felt very big for our family. One thing I really appreciated was the daily photos and the updates we would receive at pick-up. It helped me feel connected to her day and reassured me that she was happy, safe, and engaged. The biggest sign of how wonderful this place is was how my daughter responded. She would run right in at drop-off without hesitation and often talked about her teachers and friends at home. It was clear she felt comfortable and cared for. We also saw so much growth in her during the time she was there. She became more social, more confident, and really started to come out of her shell. My daughter had been going to Turner's Childcare almost a yr and the experience was amazing. From the first day I dropped my daughter off not a single tear shed from her, I instantly felt a sense of relief and peace knowing my daughter was somewhere she wanted to be. My little one has attended Turner's cubs for a few years now and we have never had any issues or concerns with the quality of the care. I have a background in child development and so I had several non-negotiables in what I was looking for. Needless to say, Ms. Nesha and Turner's Cubs easily met the very specific list of what we were seeking. In our search for childcare, we prioritized in-home care over a larger childcare center after reading the pros and cons of both. The number one thing we wanted was to see a connection/bond with our child to the caregiver and as soon as we toured Turner's Cubs, it was instant - our little one was so calm and happy and it was such a sigh of relief for us as we had toured other facilities and not felt this elsewhere. What we love about Turner's Cubs is the smaller caregiver-to-child ratio, the strict safety measures, the consistent cleanliness and how it almost mirrors a Montessori-like setting - it's a very nice set up for the kids to play and learn. There's great curriculum, variety of indoor/outdoor stimulating activities...I could go on and on. Our little one goes on and on about all the things she's learning - songs, nature lessons, art, engaging activities, sensory play etc. All this to say, we highly recommend Turner's Cubs to any parent looking for quality childcare as we have complete trust in this provider. Ms. Nesha is so great with my two girls. She is very accommodating, and has great communication when it comes to scheduling conflicts on my end. She has such a calm demeanor, which put my anxiety at ease of leaving my 8 month old when I returned back to work. My almost 5 year old dreaded the idea of coming to "baby school" with her baby sister during the summer as we transition into Kindergarten, but after day one she asked to come back everyday (despite us coming two days a week)! We started our daughter in Turner's Cubs when she was 21 mo. This was our first time putting her in daycare but Nesha put all our nerves at ease and was flexible with our ever-changing work schedules. Our daughter always wanted to continue playing, when we arrived to pick her up, so she definitely felt comfortable with Nesha and her team. We pulled our daughter out of daycare, due to the pandemic and we were all incredibly sad to say goodbye. Nesha had provided a very detailed explanation of what she was doing to keep everything clean and to keep the kids safe, so we had no doubt that she was doing everything she could. We just believed that, since we were working from home now, we needed to keep our daughter with us. When this pandemic is over, we will definitely be seeking out Turner's Cubs again! read more
