Her daycare space is always spotless, organized, and welcoming. Honestly, my daughter often comes home smelling fresher and more polished than when I dropped her off. Beyond being fun and nurturing, Jennifer is incredible with early education. In her care, my daughter learned to count to 20, have full conversations with reasoning and logic, and build fine motor skills like drawing and cutting. Every week she proudly comes home with a new piece of artwork and always talks about her best friends at day care. Jennifer provides structure and consistency while also working closely with parents by sharing advice when little ones test boundaries or keeping us updated about the day. She's extremely responsive and communicates so well. Even my mom, who has over 20 years of experience working in a child development center, has been so impressed with how Ms. Jennifer runs her program. She truly is a hidden gem. Daycare has a negative connotation to it, even nowadays, but I feel great about sending my child to "Miss Jennifer's" home every day. Our first child was enrolled at Flemings Bunch and we had a wonderful experience. Now our second child is enrolled. She keeps her home immaculate, clean, and safe. Her assistant, Miss. Esther is incredible. She's always hosting fun events for the kids and it's always evident that her passion is childcare. The scoring system on Yelp is UNFAIR. Fleming's deserves a 100+ !! I do not feel that there are enough words to put together on how incredible this daycare has been! We enrolled our daughter in January (she was around 18-months around that time). We did initially have our apprehensions since she is our first child and this would be our first daycare experience altogether. I had no idea what to expect. The experience for our daughter (as well as us) has been tremendous to say the least. Jennifer thrives on understanding the parents / child's needs. From the application process to continuous communication, she adheres to your needs and concerns. More importantly, our daughter IMMEDIATELY resonated with Fleming's. Jennifer would give us suggestions on her sleeping and eating habits. In the two months she was enrolled, I saw positive changes in her. From singing more to holding our hands when going out, she was starting to listen more. Vanessa, Jennifer's helper, is a lovely addition to the team and took good care of our daughter. She knew exactly what our daughter liked / did not like and what her interests were. They all were ONE BIG happy family. The best part was seeing the kids play outside and enjoying themselves. I loved picking up my daughter and seeing her smiling with the other children outside. Jennifer would keep us posted on any changes or call us anytime there were any concerns. The setup of her daycare was also very well done and kept well. The level of cleanliness and organization was impressive to me ! I also loved their group activities and her coming home with the cutest arts and crafts. Can I also say that I love how professional Jennifer was with her photography?! She took such amazing pictures of my daughter and left me in SHOCK ! Needless to say, if I could clone Jennifer and bring her everywhere I take my daughter, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, we have now moved to Eastvale, California. The biggest challenge is NOW, we have such high expectations from daycares. Fleming's has such a high bar in my eyes that it is difficult to not expect anything less. This place was absolutely worth the days of experience my daughter had here. I will TRULY NEVER forget her time here and recommend this establishment to every parent in that vicinity. I highly recommend Flemings Bunch Childcare. Our just-turned-three year old son was getting super bored at home, and we were lucky to nab a toddler spot here. I called a lot of daycares/preschools in long beach, but there was always something about other places I didnt like (too many kids in one classroom, feeding the kids things you dont want them eating (like hot dogs), etc.) Within one week of starting, we saw big differences in our child. His vocabulary exploded; he wanted to be more independent and put his shoes on/take them off by himself; he started eating by himself; his palate changed and he was much more open to new foods. We had just started potty training at home, and within months, our kid could pretty much do nearly everything by himself (pull pants down, sit on the potty, hold his junk down, wipe, flush, wash hands). Miss Jennifer is the owner, and she has helpers. Our son really took to Miss Vanessa. They take both infants and toddlers and separate the kids based on age. They also provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Our kid was previously a VERY picky eater (he would only eat carbs and crunchy/fried things), but his very first week, he ate carne asada tacos. My jaw dropped, because he would NEVER have eaten that at home. They also teach the kids preschool things (numbers, colors, shapes, penmanship) and have occasional special days (i.e. water day in the summer, with a ton of different inflatable pools). We are also amazed at how well they train the kids. When the kids go outside, they all sit (patiently and still) on a bench to put their shoes on, then walk in a line to sit on the steps to wait their turn to go into the play yard in front. It's incredible. Overall, we were very happy with this daycare, and would recommend it to other parents. Note: the location on yelp is wrong. I still remember the day when we brought our six month old baby son to miss Jennifer's class almost 2 1/2 years ago now-the feeling of leaving a six-month-old at the daycare when you have to go to work ...made me feel very powerless that is ......Until I walked through the door and saw the faces all the happy children and other similar aged infant! I took in the clean smell made me wonder don't these kids even poop!!! After visiting multiple daycare's where we would be seeing dirty carpets and sad lethargic children watching television with snotty noses all looking to be released from captivity ......I knew that my son had found his home to learn for the next couple years! I can say without a doubt the amount of growth cognitively and behaviorally clearly came from his attendance at Flemings Bunch. As a parent I provide a great amount of emotional support but after working 60+ hours I can certainly say that I may not provide the best "rigid parenting structure" but he certainly is on schedule here! On weekends my son lets me know 1)when it's playtime 2)eating time 3) nap time and 4) book/coloring time (amongst many other activities) all based on the schedule he has been molded to One of my life's highlights is every day I pick up my son he has stories to tell me about all the kids he played with and explanations of the day that are timely enough to take us home ---amount of socialization that he has also received has clearly made him so much more personable than he ever would've been otherwise. It is so great when we see family members or other cousins his age that he is able to instantly socialize and assimilate as if they had been friends for a long period of time. Ultimately a yelp review or even the kind words that I may bestow upon Jennifer and her staff, will never ever amount to the seriousness of relief I feel daily. We don't know where to begin with this amazing daycare. Our little baby girl has been with Ms Jennifer for over 2 years since she was 1. We have no words to say other than how blessed and incredibly fortunate we are to have found Ms Jennifer and her daycare. As working parents, we are so appreciative of all the love and care shes shown to our little one, practically helping us raise and care for her. From the early stages, where it was harder for us to transition and drop her off, Ms Jennifer has helped us through those tough moments. She has taught our (now) toddler songs about her faith, how to paint, draw, learn games, Potty training (which was huge for us! ), create more arts and crafts, teach her manners (such as patience, saying please, sharing etc.), play well with her friends as well as addressing any moments of behavior which Ms Jennifer always communicates with us all the highs and lows of our little one's day. In addition, she hosts awesome seasonal events such as Christmas party, Thanksgiving Potluck, or a Mothers Day dinner and more (including fun games!) for the whole family (which im sure due to pandemic is on hold)- but this a testament to Ms Jennifers' commitment to creating a fun and interactive event for her families to connect and enjoy. It is without doubt that Ms Jennifer is passionate and loves her work and especially her "bunch." Every day when we pick up our little one we ask how school was today and her response is always "school was good today" and proceeds to tell us what she ate, who she played with, etc. I cannot recommend Ms Jennifer enough. We love Jennifer! Our son started going here when he was 20 months and she turned our non-verbal little boy into a talking machine! Before his 2nd birthday, he was able to count to 10 and recite the alphabet! It was an amazing experience and our son loved the team at Fleming's BUNCH. Even though it's an in-home daycare, she runs a tight schedule packed with activities, dancing, artwork and play. Our 21-month-old son has been at Flemings Bunch Childcare for over 4 months now, and I must say out loud to someone new every day how grateful we are! Jennifer and her staff are beyond amazing - they're so warm, fun, and loving with the kids, while also teaching them manners, respect, patience, and so many other important qualities. As a mom and teacher I am very happy that I have two toddler boys attending Fleming's BUNCH Childcare ( a 18month old and a 2year old). Jennifer is not only kind and loving to my boys but also teaches them manners, organization,social skills, and academics. She also makes sure my boys are able to use their imagination and creativity and a lot of outdoor play! As all mother's experience, it is very hard to leave your children with someone else but I knew Jennifer had a lot of experience as a mother, preschool teacher and as a preschool director. I knew that she was going to give my kids the best care possible! Currently, my boys are doing soooo well at her daycare. My oldest already knows most of his letters and numbers and knows how to spell his name! My 18month old know all of his animal sounds and through art activities his fine motor skills and improving.
