From riding a train around the farm to petting goats to running around on a huge playground, this Farm is an all around good time! Pros: Activities: This place is packed with all types of things to do. There are several animals you can pet (Goats, Llamas, chickens, Cow, pony's and many more. There's a train that goes around the whole farm (included in your admission) and you can ride it as much as you want. They have several spots throughout the facility to reserve for birthday parties . There a HUGE mound of sand for the kids to have fun and a big playground. Plenty of places to take great photos! Location: I dread the words "It's off 1960" because this stretch of road has horrible traffic and some spots are not the best areas to be around but this spot is an excellent location. For all my golf folks, Tour 18 is right across the street ‍ Cons: Price: For a family of four (includes a 16 month old) we paid $80.00 plus food for animals for a total of $89.00. I know everything has gone up recently but I was a little blown away by this price. I would've expected a little more animals to pet or even some outdoor games to make up for this amount. Parking: Get here early or you will be parking in the "additional" parking spot which is a mowed field. Nothing against a mowed field but it isnt close so be ready to walk a little. Overall we will come back again this year since our kids had a blast!! If you're in the area give this farm a try.

The big bucket is empty . The potbelly big didn't even have water. What a shame. If I were to come back would be with the animal control. Game warden. Who ever I have to get to gathers animals the life they need. My nephew had a blast but it was just hard for me to see these animals this way

The Humble Rodeo and BBQ cook off has been a tradition here in Humble, Texas since 1947 when it was…read moreorganized by local businessmen, oil field workers and local cattlemen. One of it's most important goals is to support the FFA and kids who are interested in raising livestock. Over the years it has grown but it still has a small town feel to it. It is traditionally held in early February and before the bigger Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo so as not to conflict. It is a 2 week event, the first weekend is for the BBQ cook off and during the following week local schools and students in FFA and 4H programs compete to have their animals they raised judged. The sales of the animals after judging helps defray the costs involved by the kids and the students who have grand champions will receive scholarship money after the auction. The event is held in the arena behind the Humble Convention Center. The second weekend is for the rodeo which starts on Friday and runs through Sunday. I went to the Friday night show, the rodeo starts at 7pm and is 2 hours of fast paced riding, roping and races on horses and bucking bulls. There are several events for kids like riding on sheep and the popular calf scramble. After the rodeo part of the show, there is musical entertainment with country western bands and singers. This rodeo still has a small town feel to it, the cost is pretty low for entry, parking is free and there are food vendors in the forecourt area.

AMC has discounted pricing on Tuesday, even for IMAX (though they have a hefty $2.50 per ticket price for reserving it on-line...discounted if a AMC loyalty member). So my brother and I took the opportunity to watch F1 during its first week for release. The movie was excellent, basically Top Gun - Maverick on a racetrack. The IMAX theater had reclining lounge chairs which made the viewing comfortable. Though in that position, one can't see the bottom of the screen at all. For this movie, we hardly missed it. The experience definitely sucked us in.

Sure, many theaters are getting fancy upgrades, but I kind of appreciate the nostalgic charm of this place--until I sit down that is. The IMAX and Dolby screens offer those sweet, sweet recliners, but the rest? Think dirty, outdated, and about as comfortable as a rock in a blender. Now, AMC's motto is "We make movies better," but apparently that doesn't apply to customer service. You'll find a rare gem or two who genuinely care, but the rest seem more invested in their phones or personal convos than in, you know, doing their jobs. And that A-List line? It's basically decorative. If there's only one person at the register, it's a free-for-all: "I can help whoever's next" -- whether you're A-List or just wandered in from the parking lot. Popcorn? I'll give them credit there. Most of the time, it's fresh and crunchy, with butter and salt stations for your DIY flavoring needs. Jalapeños used to be free, but apparently some rogue popcorn rebels ruined it for the rest of us, and now there's a surcharge. Then there's the soda situation. Those touchscreen machines with a buffet of drink options are great, when they actually have something in them. Half the time, they're out of everything except some obscure soda no one drinks. And don't even get me started on the audience. Since the pandemic, it seems like people think they're paying for both a movie and a social hour. Despite the pre-film plea for silence, there's always that one group that treats the theater like their living room. Whatever happened to ushers kicking out chatty patrons? Ah, the good ol' days. In short, I've accepted that the service here is permanently set to "meh." I still grin and bear it because, at the end of the day, I'm here for the love of movies, even if I have to bring my own patience.
