Passed this spot on north Georgia mountain runs for last 12 years.. finally stopped in today. Sidewinder chicken sandwich was phenomenal. My buddy got the angus cheeseburger.. said it was delicious.. store was air conditioned. Clean. Courteous Customer Service. Covid19 precautions taken. Rocked in the outside shaded chairs for a while. Def recommend this spot after a hike, ride or cliff jump. read more

You know it's good when the owner greets you in the parking lot with a bowl of water for the pup. This country store houses the Sidewinder Grill with papa at the reister and mama working the grill. Bacon cheeseburgers with sweet potato fries and onion rings came out hot and fresh and delicious. They also have a full breakfast menu. Definitely worth a stop? read more

I stopped into this general store after riding up and down a curvy, mountainous road. I was in need of a cough drop as I developed some sort of sore throat/cold during my MDW in the mountains. I went inside and immediately noticed the interior, which reminded me of a dated convenience store. Cabin Fever comes to mind. Shortly, I was greeted by who I assume to be the owner. He asked me what I was looking for and helped me find the cough drops and peppermints. He was polite during my five minute trip. I could smell the food from the restaurant that was adjoined to the store. It smelled really good. I also used the restroom, which was clean. If I were in the area again, I'd try the food as I saw a few occupied tables out front when I walked in. read more

Gas is ripoff.....customer gets gauged by 10 cents more a gallon if you use credit or debit card. merchant opens up late in morning 8am closed very early on Sunday 5 pm... beer cooler is warm..not cold read more

This cute little all in one place was a perfect stop off for breakfast. It's just a tiny cafe in the back of the store but it had hearty home cooked breakfast. We had big fluffy biscuits with bacon egg and cheese. Nothing fancy but really good. read more

If Becky is cooking... do NOT order food! Our food was burnt so bad it was not edible. When we pointed it out, she slammed our other food (which was also burnt) down on the table and snapped at us. She then proceeded to yell at us in front of other customers. Her dad, the owner, did nothing about this and allowed her to behave this way after she messed up our order. And, we were expected to pay for the food that we did not eat! I have NEVER seen anyone so unprofessional in my life! She clearly has anger management issues and cannot handle customers. read more

We visited Yonah Mountain Vineyards on Father's Day to celebrate with my daughter--neither of us…read morehad been before. It was easy to find with plenty of parking, and although it looked like they were preparing for an event later that evening, everything was still open and running smoothly. The property was clean and well-kept, with live music set up and playing outside, which added to the atmosphere. We ordered at a counter. I chose the sweet selection and my daughter chose the white wine flight. Each flight included four 2 oz pours and cost $60 total. We were informed there was also a food truck on-site. We tried the pimento cheese dip and hummus platter--both were enjoyable, though a bit pricey (I don't recall the exact amounts). The vineyard has a large covered patio as well as another seating area with sun shades. Most tables were occupied, and several guests had brought their dogs, which added a relaxed, welcoming feel. While I enjoyed the overall experience, I did find the wines and food a bit on the expensive side, especially given the bottle prices listed on the tasting menu (ranging roughly from $36 to $75). I didn't end up purchasing any bottles for that reason. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and a nice way to spend Father's Day. I'd consider coming back again--possibly in the fall, and bringing my dog next time.

But overall it was a much better experience. The tasting at this small boutique winery was personalized: I sat at the bar and tried the "Premier Wine Tasting." Two choices were offered: dry or sweet; 5 small pours in total. I got the dry. The bartender was informative and, as I was the only one there at the time, I got his undivided attention. He even threw in two extra small tastes of wines not in the flight that I asked about, no extra charge. Though the wines were expensive, they were quite good and I did buy a couple bottles, wanting to return home with a collection from my travels and I liked the place. I also liked the fact that they allow customers to bring their own food. Many wineries prohibit that, even if all they have to offer is prepackaged charcuterie platters. And I liked their "Serenity Now!" tee shirt enough to buy one of those too, though I'm normally opposed to paying a business to advertise their own business. Views and the inside space were nothing special. But they do have concerts and a food truck most weekends. The stage and patio looked like a good place to enjoy some wine, snacks, and local music. I was glad to end my Georgia wine tour on a (relatively) high note.

It is located in a small plaza that's tucked away in the corner so it is easy to miss especially because it is a small smaller structured building. So, keep in mind to be sure to look directly to your right towards the end of the first lane when you're driving into the plaza. As far as a coffee, I do believe that it was very fresh and they had a decent amount of options for flavors. Right now they have the holiday flavor so of course I had to try the cookie butter latte. I am a firm believer of ensuring that a coffee has great taste in addition to still being able to taste the actual coffee which I believe this shot did a great job at. It's not too sweet and it's also not better either. My fiancé got the white chocolate raspberry latte which was super tasty. He's not the biggest coffee drinker and he said that this is probably the best coffee that he's ever had. It is 100% worth a try. if you're in the area, this is definitely a place that you should check out
