Price gouging to specific race, culture etc! I feel this honestly because I visited location a day prior and was greeted by older women and gentleman that not only gave me a good deal and washed my fruit. I also wanted to pay more and the older gentleman refused. so I returned to return the favor being a business owner myself. 2nd go around was terrible I'm not sure if individuals just work there or just need to make more $ but $15 watermelons each $15 for 4 apples and 5 small oranges priced at 3.99 per lb so math wise nothing adds up. Brunette and older Blonde needs math courses or need to be fired asap. Terrible experience I will spread the word to not spend at Turner Produce. And produce was not fresh a lot was spoiled and not rotated.

The most DELICIOUS STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE EVER!!!!!
    Wendy S.

I wanted some local fruit and boy was this a treat!!! The produce is lovely and reasonably priced. And then there is the market store... A HIDDEN GEM!!!! Prices are good. The selection is small and focused. Now...the Strawberry Milkshake is a featured item.... I wondered why.... UMMMMMM....MIND BLOWING.... Yes...I know...it's a milkshake.... But it's not...you see the cram it full of LOCAL strawberries that are bursting with flavor! No artificial flavors or colors!!!! Topped with whipped cream and a dripping cherry!

I especially appreciated the variety of local vendors and products available throughout the market. I also stopped by the deli and tried both the meatball sub and Italian sub, and they did not disappoint. The portions were generous, flavorful, and incredibly filling. The fresh lemonades were a great addition as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the Detwiler's cookies were another highlight of the visit. Overall, it was a fantastic shopping experience, and I've officially become a fan. I'll definitely be back!

The building it self is pretty large and wasn't expecting to walk in to a store with so much to see and samples in every corner you turn plus a bakery with danish and croissants sold in singles or packs, everything in the bakery looked delicious! There is a lot of product here you probably won't find in other areas of Florida but you can also find a lot of the same stuff at Publix. When I came to this store on a Tuesday afternoon there was a lot of people shopping here. They lay out is the same as most stores but what is unique is the bakery is to the left when you walk in and the bakery offers a lot of pastries like danish and croissants in their case for single purchases and also already packed. I had never visit this specific chain store and after doing some research I out these stores are only in Manatee and Sarasota county's. Very unique store with some different varieties but also keep and eye on some items , I wouldn't buy cleaning products here or body care items as those can be found for a better price at Publix and often BOGO but some other items like candy's in packaging toward the produce área was interesting they also offer a wide variety of cut fruit. Beware if you don't like seafood the smell starts to sneak on you as soon as you get to the produce área and it's pretty strong. Costumer service here doesn't come close to like at Publix but overall a store to look at if you are near one in any of the the two county's they are in. Four stars, why? because of the strong odor of fish and I felt like the store didnt have enough space for costumers to get around ,to many displays of products in the middle off the aisle.

This was such a cute find in the middle of quarantine -- Rosie is super into her produce and farm…read more She'll give you a bucket/clippers for the flower farm out front to go and clip your own. Depending on the time of year on what she's planted, sunflowers is what's prevalent now (summer). She mentioned not closing down for the summer as normal, because of everything going on- so if you have a chance, definitely stop by and support local.

Ole Rosie, where do I start?…read more I was so happy I finally caught this little market when it was open (I randomly pass by and stop, just didn't note their business hours). After a few minutes of browsing, a chipper young lady (I'm assuming it was Rosie) came to the floor, out from what looked like a deep beauty sleep. After a few moments I decided to say hello and make a little small talk "I'm so glad I caught you when you're open." The happy young woman replied "IM ALWAYS OPEN!"... I tried to explain to her how I just randomly cruise by and it's usually not during business hours, nbd. Yikes. She said it was her last day open and she was heading back to Michigan for the summer. Yes! I think to myself, this is my 'in' to get on her good side (I'm also from Michigan, us Michiganders are usually very friendly to each other!). Rosie didn't bat an eye. She rang me up, after moments of silence, I try to talk to her again and jokingly say "is that with my Michigan discount?" Her face turned from a scowl to an even more evil, menacing scowl. She proclaimed "DO I GET PROPERTY TAX DISCOUNT?!?! DO I GET A GAS DISCOUNT?!?! DO I GET A GROCERY DISCOUNT?!" I just stood there in awe.. She was right, she gets no Michigan discount, why should I?! What a horrible thing to ask her!! After being schooled, I sat there in silence. I ended up buying a honeycomb, two jars of pickled garlic, balsamic garlic herb jam, and some of what Rosie's roadside signs say are 'fresh cheese curds.' What Rosie doesn't know is my family is from the dairyland. We used to visit every summer. And guess what? Cheese curds are the first thing I buy when I get there! Fresh cheese curds are only fresh for a couple days. When I get home I ripped open the curds and took a bite. It was the worst tasting cheese I have ever tasted. I took old Rosie's word and thought they were fresh. I checked the date (after I purchased them)... The date was 2/2/2022. I bought these cheese curds on 4/22!!!! Those were not fresh. They would get tossed after a week if they were in Wisconsin. Dispite Rosie's cheery attitude, I will say I'm never going to waste my time at this place ever, don't waste yours.

It's open year-round, which is amazing, and it had such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Our kids especially loved walking our friend's dog around the market, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. We also found a great pet vendor and picked up some treats. The food vendors were all really strong. The empanada truck was delicious, we tried pink pineapple for the first time, and we also had some guacamole and chips that were definitely pricey but absolutely worth it. There's a huge variety of vendors, and we barely got through a fraction of them. I'd love to go back on an empty stomach next time and really explore everything properly. If we lived nearby, I could easily see this becoming a regular weekend stop.
