Food was great, service was good, ambiance was fun. Lots of tents and stuff to check out every Saturday from October - May

This farmer's market has really grew in the last few years! They host it every Saturday, October-May from 9am-2pm. They have everything from fresh produce, live music, local art, fresh baked goods and so much more! Great time to walk around, grab lunch at a local restaurant on main or even grab a coffee and walk the river walk.

Not a large farmer's market, but lots of good vendors for food and jewelry. Fun, bohemian atmosphere.

The staff here was extremely friendly I'm sure a lot of the customers are locals that frequently stop in by the sounds of the laughter and the conversations going on as they checked out. I got a laugh after seeing a small section marked "scratch and dent", theses items were marked up to 50% off, these are a variety of items that are a little bruised or ripe to the point you'd want to use them right away. I was hoping to see a cow, a horse, a pig or a chicken but I guess they were all working out in the fields like most farms everyone has to pull their weight. I didn't find anything today unfortunately but enjoyed the walk-through, this is the real deal...

Most we're ready to eat and good for freezing but luckily I mentioned that my daughter loves crunchy mangoes so they brought out freshly picked and still very hard Keitts. Those lasted a few days but we're awesome to eat green and crunchy. Will def be back to check out more produce and fruits. GPS to farm is spot on. Lots of parking space. Owners were lovely and very accommodating.

The market is three days - Wednesday, Friday, & Sunday - 10-4 The market is beside Coquina Beach so you can see the beach and market all in one place. There is a few food/snack options like cookies, desserts, guacamole, conch salad to name a few off of my head. They also have a tea vendor and a coconut juice vendor. Everyone is very nice and eager to sell their goodies - lots of beach items, jewelry, candles, crafty items, beach toys, beach clothing and accessories to name a few! Bad: really weird location at the end of Coquina Beach - if you get to the bridge to Long Boat Key, you are too far Traffic is horrendous getting out because the LongBoat Key Bridge goes up anytime a boat passes, and that makes a lot of traffic all throughout the day. This market is not dog friendly, but we do see small dogs. We put our dog in his wagon so he was not on the pavement. The vendors do not seem as plentiful as they list. Perhaps the market vendors depend on the day since the market is 3 days. Glad that I did see this market since I visit so many all over. It's definitely something to see if you are in the area. Perhaps you will find something that makes a great souvenir from Anna Maria Island and that is definitely priceless! PS. This is not a farmers market. It's more of a crafty and artisan market with a beach theme!

I especially appreciated the variety of local vendors and products available throughout the market. I also stopped by the deli and tried both the meatball sub and Italian sub, and they did not disappoint. The portions were generous, flavorful, and incredibly filling. The fresh lemonades were a great addition as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the Detwiler's cookies were another highlight of the visit. The building it self is pretty large and wasn't expecting to walk in to a store with so much to see and samples in every corner you turn plus a bakery with danish and croissants sold in singles or packs, everything in the bakery looked delicious! There is a lot of product here you probably won't find in other areas of Florida but you can also find a lot of the same stuff at Publix. When I came to this store on a Tuesday afternoon there was a lot of people shopping here. They lay out is the same as most stores but what is unique is the bakery is to the left when you walk in and the bakery offers a lot of pastries like danish and croissants in their case for single purchases and also already packed. I had never visit this specific chain store and after doing some research I out these stores are only in Manatee and Sarasota county's. Very unique store with some different varieties but also keep and eye on some items , I wouldn't buy cleaning products here or body care items as those can be found for a better price at Publix and often BOGO but some other items like candy's in packaging toward the produce área was interesting they also offer a wide variety of cut fruit. Beware if you don't like seafood the smell starts to sneak on you as soon as you get to the produce área and it's pretty strong. Costumer service here doesn't come close to like at Publix but overall a store to look at if you are near one in any of the the two county's they are in. Four stars, why? because of the strong odor of fish and I felt like the store didnt have enough space for costumers to get around ,to many displays of products in the middle off the aisle.

We went to this grove specifically for the pumpkin festival which had good reviews. The biggest…read moredraw was the activities available for children under 5 and the free admission/$5 parking. Even though it was an hour drive for us it was well worth traveling there. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pony rides which were $6/child, holding a piglet which was $7/child, the hay ride ($2/seated person), the circus entertainment (free), feeding the goats ($1/cup of food) and enjoying a picnic with food for lunch. There was also live music to enjoy. The food we had was smoked turkey legs ($15 and very large... 2 of us shared one), BBQ sandwich with French fries ($12) and delicious freshly made lemonade with strawberries ($7) and some water bottles ($3 each). Other than the water bottles being a bit pricey, the other food was good and reasonably priced for these kinds of events. There was so much more we could have enjoyed but our young ones tired out with the heat of the day. We did not get a chance to see the many small tents full of crafts, the playground, the butterfly area, the train ride (appropriate for very young kids) and probably so much more we did not know about. There was an area for older kids that had activities such as a zipline, climbing wall, inflatable slides and tunnels which were additional costs ranging from $12-$20. $40 for a band that included all of those activities. The pumpkin area at the front was beautifully arranged and there were plenty of pumpkins to choose from. Pie pumpkins were $5 and carvable pumpkins were $0.90/lb. They also had heirloom pumpkins for a bit more/lb. There were so many areas throughout the farm for photo opportunities. It was really well done. All of the people working there were great and parking was very organized. I expect we will return next year. It was a fun outing.
