He doesn't need the positive reviews but thought it might be nice to have a review about replacing 20+ year old bubbling tint on a 2002 Jeep Wrangler (TJ). Quote was honest and fair. This was A LOT of work to peel off this old tint (6 hr job) then replace. Owner was communicative and thorough. Defrost still works on back window, which was iffy given the age of the tint. Highly recommend this local company. What a difference it makes for cooling car in ceramic tint. Bonus: We can now see out the back window. read more

He worked with me to make sure we could match the new tinted windows with my old tint through reviewing the pictures I sent him beforehand. The price was amazing for what I got, and I'm glad because I came to him via a referral of a friend of a friend. I will also say that as a single woman, having someone that made me feel like I was safe and didn't have to worry about something inappropriate was really nice. Car stuff can often feel overwhelming to me, from people making inappropriate jokes to feel like they're taking advantage of my ignorance, but there was none of that. Chris is full of knowledge of Tinting. My girlfriend and I are expecting a baby so we decided to get the windows tinted to reduce the sunlight coming in. We weren't sure how dark we wanted the tint. I called up Turning Lane Tint and he gave me different shade recommendations. Originally we wanted to go dark all the way around but after talking to Chris, we decided to go dark on the back and lighter on the front two windows. We love the outcome, couldn't be happier. Where things started to slip was on the pickup side. I was told the car was ready, but still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes before actually getting it. At checkout, I was also surprised to see a tip screen with suggested amounts that felt pretty high given the service. I ended up leaving a small tip, but the experience itself didn't really match that level of expectation. I also would have appreciated a quick walkthrough of the work that was done--especially at that price point--but it was more of a quick handoff of the keys. I came back for the 10-day follow-up and made a point to ask about timing ahead of time. I was told it would take about an hour. I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! I planned on using the wash program and mentioned to Jasmine my poor service experience. Think there was follow-up? Nada. So, thumbs "kind of" up for Ceramic Pro but thumbs down for this location. Overall, I think the company itself does good work, and have used the Kearny Mesa location in the past several times with excellent success!! I would not choose this location again.

Very nice gentleman who took the time to explain and answer any questions I may have about tint and how dark along with heat protection. I was comfortable immediately and was able to get the Bronco in immediately. Less than two hours later the job was completed and I couldn't be happier. Fast forward to a few weeks ago; my wife, after seeing how good the Bronco looked, wanted her front windows done the same tint depth. I brought her Rogue in to Dave and he was able to get the job done in less than an hour. Talk about fast, reliable and friendly service!! The tint looks amazing! We had been quoted anywhere between $5,000-$15,000 to replace our sliding patio doors with French…read moredoors. Our garage is detached, so we could not lock our old patio doors, meaning if we wanted to use our garage, we either had to leave the house unlocked or walk around the block to our front door. We were told by all the other contractors that our doorway was a weird size, and that they were unable to install the doors without cutting into our drywall and stucco and removing our patio stairs. We were also told this would be a project that took multiple days. I posted our other quotes to Yelp to see if other contractors could beat it, and Sivan responded. Oded from Sivan came in and confirmed what I suspected: That what we were told by other contractors was wrong, and that they could easily replace our sliding patio doors with French doors with a lock, and that it could be done via retrofitting and would only take a matter of hours. Everyone at Sivan was easy to work with. My husband and I frequently have meetings during the day, so it's hard to have a call about house stuff. Everyone at Sivan was able to communicate via e-mail and text so we could handle things while in meetings, and they were super responsive even though we sometimes took months to respond because we had a baby since we originally reached out to them. We were able to get our doors done for $4,298.80, which was the best quote we had from any contractor and included labor, materials, and a warranty. In sum, we highly recommend Sivan if you are looking to replace your doors!

If you want tinting done Chris is the man to speak to. He took my Expedition and covered the inner window tint and darkened it to limo tint. The difference is truly night and day. This was the second vehicle I've used Turning Lane for and once again he did a perfect job. I like that it's a mobile service so I didn't have to adjust my schedule. The tint process for two front windows on my new Telluride took about 45 minutes and it looked great.
