Do not get your vehicle tinted here if you expect near-perfect results and strong customer service. I chose Bro San Diego mainly for convenience since I live nearby, but the quality of the install and the service did not match the high ratings this business presents online. My wife and I have tinted four vehicles over the last few years, and this was easily the most disappointing experience -- especially for the price. I received a written quote from Ricardo for tinting 11 windows on my 2025 truck. When I dropped the vehicle off in November 2025, George attempted to charge me more until I mentioned the quote I received from Ricardo. At pickup, I noticed a large number of bubbles and contaminants, especially on the front windows and windshield. I understand tint requires a curing period, so I waited over five weeks before coming back. When I returned, I marked all the visible defects with a white marker on the outside of windshield so they could clearly see my concerns. (See picture attached) George told me they would replace the windshield and both front windows film because it would be easier to replace than fix, so I scheduled an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment around 12pm, Ricardo again confirmed they would replace the film on all three windows. After more than 5 hours, I received a text saying nothing was replaced and that minor contaminants are "normal" and tint can't be 100% perfect. That was frustrating because it directly contradicted what both George and Ricardo initially said they would do. When I picked up the vehicle, only a small portion of bubbles appeared to have been improved. The windshield still had many visible defects, which was my main concern because it can be distracting while driving. I consider myself reasonable. I wouldn't have come back to waste my time for a few minor imperfections, but this was excessive (dozens of defects, many on the driver side of the windshield). Between the pricing, the quality, and the poor follow-through, I cannot recommend Bro San Diego. Overpriced, inconsistent communication, a major waste of time and money. read more

Customer service is amazing but disappointed that I made an appointment at 11:15 AM and waited until 12:30 PM just for me to go up to the front desk and tell them I had to go.. such a bummer cause they were great getting back to me via message but when I showed up they made me wait and wait and then I ended up leaving. We had an event in San Diego that required perforated decals on the back three windows on three Escalades. When we reached out they were very responsive and professional, when the day came three of our chauffeurs went to the their location for installation and they were out fairly quickly with great looking decals. We only needed them on for this event, week in total, but they held up great with daily car washes and working 12+ hours a day. Taking the decals off was very easy as well! As many people know, EVs are hard to get- the wait can be months or longer. In light of that, I accepted a black Hyundai Ioniq 5 from a dealer who told me that had received my car- and it was gray. Well, it wasn't gray, it was black. I took it anyway. It was like an oven every time I went near it or got into it. After 4 months, I decided to get it wrapped. I came across this business when I put in Yelp asking for quotes to remove my window tint that was violet (due to age), on the camper I Just bought few days before. Many tint businesses quoted cheaper, under $200, as low as $100 for three sides, 1 big rear window and two back sides, as pictured. But I was gonna be in Calif only that week I bought it, as I came from AZ to buy this little motorhome on Craigslist in Fontana. Range was $100 (but he said he has to see it) - $250, but they didn't have time this week. I dropped by and George at BRO told me $200 was his labor minimum, he anticipated 2 hours (took him 1.5 hrs, in the end), but he said he would remove the tint from the smaller windows, besides the three in the rear. He could do it even that day, but I didn't bring my 2 hour passtime, so I came the next day, Friday, when they opened at 9 am. Basically Goerge did a good job, but I had to point out several areas where he did not remove the glue entirely, and he was balking at the two smallest windows in the overcab bed. But he did remove the tint in those windows, after putting his steamer away and driving my camper out of his garage forme to pickup, cos he did say he would do the smaller windows for a flat rate of $200. So I am giving George 4 stars. Overall I got it done in the limited time I had that week, cos George was open anytime I wanted that week. They didn't seem very busy at all. If I had another tint need, I would come back here. But I now drove that camper to AZ where I live. read more
