I went inpatient for about a week and was explicitly told that I was welcome back after | was discharged. when I was doing my discharge paperwork, my inpatient therapist said that I was being dropped because I went inpatient and they don't deal with "high needs" patients. I had gone inpatient so that I could get the help to not be high needs and it is in the discharge paperwork that you have to meet with your outpatient therapist in a certain timeframe after leaving. not only was I dropped without notice and after being given conflicting information, but they did not give the opportunity for a last appointment to meet my discharge needs or any recommendations for other counseling services. prior to being inpatient, I was told to see a psychologist temporarily and that I could go back after I was done. based on what happened to me, even this will cause them to discharge you. this is extremely unethical and wrong and I highly discourage anyone seeking therapy from going here. they do not cater to "high needs" patients and will dismiss you if they deem you as high needs. this is also so dangerous because it both discourages patients from being honest with their therapist and from seeking a higher level of care temporarily. I am so disappointed in how I was treated for making the decision to get a higher level of care. now I am left without a therapist and am on my own to find another one, which could take months. do not go here read more
