From the extremely friendly and supportive nurses and supporting staff; to the exceptional therapy that she is receiving, and even the quality of meals, just everything has exceeded our expectations. It is an extraordinarily superior facility and it would be my number 1 recommendation for anyone needing a skilled nursing facility with excellent therapy. There were times it took longer than I felt necessary to have the call bell answered. The toilet plugged 2 times during his stay and the second time it was reported numerous times. I would have thought the smell alone would have gotten their attention. Always replied they would tell maintenance but did not seem to be a priority. The food was 5 star plus and the service could not have been better. The programs and physical therapy were good. In conclusion Wellbrooke should be proud of the caring staff they have.

Eventually they are going to end up in Dujarie where they will get lousy care, will become dehydrated routinely and they will ask them themselves how they ended up in such an uncaring environment after they were treated so well while they were independently living in their apartments other areas of HCV. Grand Emerald is horrible. They are great sales people selling you on a great place that is an absolute nightmare. the staff is often ignoring patients and family concerns. They charged my family member a different elevated amount every month stating she needed more care. From looking at the care I've witnessed or been told by my family member - they provide minimal care. They overcharge for these so called extra services and then didn't provide them. They take advantage of the elderly for their memory issues. My family member sat for hours in her own ursine and feces without anyone to help. My family member was scared to live there. When I moved my family member they tried to bill me for extra fees and days she wasn't even there. I had the new place conduct an evaluation and the attached photos are her feet - she couldn't even walk and these supposed "extra services" had to have been going on for months. One time she fell in her room and no one responded to her alarm and she laid on the floor for an hour until she had to crawl to the hallway to get any help. Now I'm being referred to a collection agency because I informed them that 1) they charged for days she wasn't there and 2) she was fraudulently billed for services they didn't do. Baths - no. Cleaning room - no. Then her feet? I'm hoping to save others family from being abused and taken advantage. Officers called Hellenic Senior Living to let them know she was left there and they said there was NOTHING they could do about it :( OMG! I would be finding a new care facility! This is unacceptable! at 1:54 p.m. the officer was transporting her back to the facility. How sad is this???? Do not place anyone at this facility. ....omg, so sad! She sat there without anyone realizing she was missing for over 4 hours. She had not eaten, used a restroom or had anyone care for her except for a decent human being that noticed she had been sitting there for quite some time while they shopped.
