We were warmly welcomed when we walked in and spent a half hour or so browsing around in search of a black and gold gown and black and gold bowtie for a summer event. And where those hard-to-find items continue to elude us, we did see a ton of very nice things for sale. Some of the things were belts, purses, handbags, men's & women's clothing, shoes, boots, sandals, some high end sneakers, kitchen and household goods, small furniture, luggage, and plenty more. So, if you enjoy thrifting, you'll sure enjoy a visit here. PRO TIPS 1) The Yelp listing had an incorrect address. I've gotten many items from them over the last 2 years and always have a good time when visiting! After months we finally made a weekend stop at Heck's, a house wrecking spot stretching by between a house and barn. It's a quirky spot to poke around, but can be a gamble. We found jewelry, unique napkin rings, a fourth grade textbook in Polish, Indiana Glass, and a million coffee tables. The jewelry section upstairs was well-stocked, the book section upstairs was huge, but the music section was already poked through. Johnny Cash's Greatest Hits was missing from its CD case. Look before you leap, but enjoy the fun finds. The prices ranged from econo thrift to antique gallery, depending on the item, and the quality range the same. Restaurants, coffee, and Cole's Road Brewery are all nearby so this could be part of any itinerary you like.

Not so interested in her job more interested in her phone or spacing out.. I spent $900 and the person could not have been less helpful. Here you'll find a large assortment of shoes, clothing and purses. There's a substantial amount of designer premium brands, such as Chanel, Prada, YSL, Gucci, Burberry, Celine, Luis Vuitton and more. Some are behind the glass, others are not. The store is well organized and most items look to be in good shape. They also sell contemporary branded items. I personally feel they are a bit overpriced. For instance I found the same exact purse at Nordstrom Rack and at Uptown Consignment. At Nordstrom Rack it is $39.99 and at Uptown Consignment it is $66.00. Some items are marked with, if it hasn't sold by a certain date then it'll be discounted by half price. I found a pair of Lululemon Leggings for $24.00 but decided against them because they were cropped. There was a stunning Celine purse, made of the loveliest, most delicate leather for $300. Let's see how long it'll stay on my mind. If you're looking to treat yourself to a fine luxury item, it might be worthwhile to check out Uptown Consignment. Be smart about knowing what things cost.

One was Kate Spade & the other was Michael Kors. Contact does state that they are not responsible for items left but I figured that meant in case of fire or something. I'm guessing both items were stolen. The employees helped us look after we couldn't find them ourselves & they all stated they did remember both items. In hindsight, I should have tried to sell them myself since these exact same items are listed on eBay for $90 & $100. I wrongly trusted this business to safely sell my items for me.

So when I saw some large unique items on display I expected a high price, but, this guy is charging Manhattan Retail in an outdoor junk yard. Ketchup packets spewed on hot pavement, a jar of peanut butter spilled across a table, and I pulled a tick off me on site. Hardly the setting to charge $800 for a metal chicken. Oh, PS he also prominently displayed a twenty foot long swastika banner on 11/9/16 and has a huge collection of black lawn jockeys and mammies. again, my Mom has and antique shop and these things have an arguable historical value, but they should be considered within context. You know, maybe you don't hang a 20 foot swastika outside your shop the day after a contentious election with racial overtones if you are only interested in the historical value of your extensive lawn jockey collection.
