Each vendor has a cute little setup, which is nice for browsing, but the pricing? Definitely not flea market pricing. As a reseller, I'm always on the hunt for deals, and there just wasn't any room here. Most items were priced at full retail--or even higher in some cases--which kind of defeats the purpose. Yes, some of the stuff is old, used, and vintage-adjacent, but nothing rare enough to justify the markup. If you're just looking for a weekend wander or want a quirky spot to kill time, it's fine. But if you're a picker, collector, or someone who knows the value of what you're looking at... this probably isn't your gold mine. Personally, I won't be rushing back.

The building is HUGE, and literally jam-packed with individually owned sections (I want to say "booths" but that's not completely accurate)... each containing completely different kinds of items. If you're a collector, there's a good chance you'll find something to add to your collection. Be sure to peek at all the photos I added to get an idea of what can be found. Many of the "booth" owners hangs out near their offerings. It felt like a little community in there and most of the people were friendly. We saw 3 dogs, Two seemed happy and friendly, and one was in a carrier with a warning sign, who was miserable and scared and growling (can only assume he was in that too small container because he bites, out of fear). That poor caged dog was the only bad (horrible really) thing. Hopefully someone there will see this review and find a way to give that small puppy a more humane way to spend his day. It really was sad and disturbing. Overall I'd say that The Flea Market at the Crossing is worth checking out at least once, especially if you're looking for an interesting way to spend an hour or two. Bring someone 50+ with you and watch them remember happy times spent with their grandparents. From the glassware and kitchen tools to the kitchen table in my photos, I found myself remembering he things my grandparents chose for their houses. We didn't buy anything this time, perhaps we'll return one day.

We were warmly welcomed when we walked in and spent a half hour or so browsing around in search of a black and gold gown and black and gold bowtie for a summer event. And where those hard-to-find items continue to elude us, we did see a ton of very nice things for sale. Some of the things were belts, purses, handbags, men's & women's clothing, shoes, boots, sandals, some high end sneakers, kitchen and household goods, small furniture, luggage, and plenty more. So, if you enjoy thrifting, you'll sure enjoy a visit here. PRO TIPS 1) The Yelp listing had an incorrect address. I put in an update today, and the proper address (still in Newington) is 27 Garfield Street. 2) If you're interested in consigning clothes here, Karma's Closet offers a 50/50 split on all consignment items.

Then several other store workers came over asking what I needed and if someone was helping me. My visit was excellent....everyone was very pleasant and helpful. They even handled my trade in Gibson SG in a very timely matter explaining to me every step. As far as the store its one of the biggest I've been in....super nice store. I cannot imagine not finding what you need. I'll be back soon!

today on pick up, the entire auction's items had not been put in area ready for pickup. Waited 5…read moreminutes, then told 5 more minutes then it was 10 minutes then more. I'm a 68 year old woman in 85 degree direct sun with neuropathy. I felt very very faint. As they spent time moving furniture to get to boxes up very high and then opening each one, I asked if I could just look real quick so my few items could get pulled. was told no. then instead of apologizing to the growing line , we were told it was hard on them too No mea culpa "sorry we messed up" but instead they're victim too. He said I didn't know what they're going through and I said you don't know what we have gone through either that morning. He said you're just impatient. Yes I was and about to faint on their floor after being told it was 5 minutes 15 minutes ago. I didn't yell or curse How much easier would it have been to say "Sorry everyone, we messed up and have to organize everything, it's going to be at least 20-30 minutes, please come back later or tomorrow, again our utmost apologies" Anyhoos banned me from their website and another one too, long time customer of 10 years spending significant amount of money that helps in retirement. I was at one of first auction ninjas sales 10 years ago where I drove down to Scarsdale and found they had given my lot to another customer. Things happen Next time just say you're sorry Grant Paranese (the managing partner) it's not about you and your day.
