Quickly discovered that they do NOT make anybody available to resolve issues by phone -- you have to leave a number and wait/pray for a return call. At the time I had the specific e-mail of an associate I'd dealt with earlier, and he jumped in & helped immediately. It appears they've plugged that loophole now. 2nd order: Shipped open box product where new product was advertised/charged. Same old story: nobody available to speak with you. Either leave a # or e-mail. They ended up issuing a $50 refund, but this should not have happened. 3rd order: In a panic I ordered a $150 TOSLINK cable, but found out later the issue was elsewhere. Again: nobody available to assist with the return. In response to e-mail, they did approve the return, but charged a $15 "return label fee." Grrr. Hopefully I'll have my wits about me next time & remember to avoid these shady people who only half-heartedly provide customer assistance!

Initially, I was pleased with the job he did. Little did I know the personal Hell this transaction would become over the next 18 months. Not only has this man and his team proven themselves to be unable to do the job correctly, but they have also demonstrated through their actions to be dishonest, unethical, unprofessional, and very cruel. The problems with the stereo and alarm systems started almost immediately. The stereo would skip, and different screens would pop up when I would turn the car on, and sometimes the screen would be blank, so I would have to restart the car to get to the stereo. The alarm would sometimes churp different tones, which Peter indicated was a sensor issue, and the starter button would set off my alarm a lot of the time. Fast forward 2024. The alarm stopped working all together so Peter agreed to replace it. ** The second alarm is now malfunctioning ** So many long visits to AudioMasters, I was patient and respectful with this man. The last week in September, 2024, my stereo wireless stopped working, the volume went up and down by itself, screen flashed on and off. The next day, I called Peter. No answering machine, and He would not respond to my texts, I verified he received them. He just chose not call me back. Then the stereo stopped working all together. No CarPlay, no music. After a week of being ignored, I was able to speak with Peter. Peter acknowledged the problem, offered to replace the defective stereo. Another week passed. October 4, I got this text from Peter: "Morning Marcus, Just left the warehouse with the new radio and headed back to charlotte. Ill text you when I'm on the way to you." That was the last time I heard from Peter, or AudioMasters. I spoke with an employee, he put me on hold for 30 minutes. I called back, they have call waiting, they would not pick up. I had someone else call from another number, and they picked up.

I adjusted again, and they were a no-show. After calling, I was told there was a mix-up and staff out sick. We rescheduled for 3:30-4:00 PM the next day, which I confirmed because I pick my son up at 3:00 PM. An hour before the appointment, they called asking to arrive at 3:00 PM instead. I explained that wouldn't work because I wouldn't be home until 3:20 at the earliest. The technician arrived at 3:20 and left as I was pulling up at 3:30. I attempted to call with my ETA and called multiple times afterward, no answer. This was a clear breakdown in scheduling and communication. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them on a solution, but instead, this experience has cost me time, money, and confidence in their reliability. After three missed opportunities, I cannot recommend their services.
