3 strikes & you're out in my book! 1st order: Shipped late. Quickly discovered that they do NOT make anybody available to resolve issues by phone -- you have to leave a number and wait/pray for a return call. At the time I had the specific e-mail of an associate I'd dealt with earlier, and he jumped in & helped immediately. It appears they've plugged that loophole now. 2nd order: Shipped open box product where new product was advertised/charged. Same old story: nobody available to speak with you. Either leave a # or e-mail. They ended up issuing a $50 refund, but this should not have happened. 3rd order: In a panic I ordered a $150 TOSLINK cable, but found out later the issue was elsewhere. Again: nobody available to assist with the return. In response to e-mail, they did approve the return, but charged a $15 "return label fee." Grrr. Hopefully I'll have my wits about me next time & remember to avoid these shady people who only half-heartedly provide customer assistance! read more

Update 12/2/25: Received a call from the manager apologizing for the mistake and they were going to send them out at the originally agreed on price. Should receive the tracking number soon. Appreciate the call back and am happy with the results! Purchased a pair of Sonos Ace headphones as a cyber Monday deal. Purchase went well then received an email hours later saying "briefly listed below the minimum price Sonos allows retailers to advertise." Everyone else is long sold out now. Purchased a set of speakers on affirm from audio advice. After waiting two weeks, it still wasn't shipped so I called the company. They have an answering service and all they do is take messages. They don't handle any issues or anything and then they'll have an agent call you at a later date. When I finally got a call from the agent, he told me it was basically my fault because their website shows that they're sold out even though when I purchased it at shop.com It didn't say sold out. And he told me it was because it wasn't their website. All he did was offer me a refund or waiting longer. I told him I'd wait a little longer if he thinks they would get it in within a week or two and he said that they would. After waiting an additional 2 to 3 weeks I still didn't see it shipped, I then checked their website and it did not say sold out. I called the company who just took a voicemail and never called me back after five days. I called again and told them I want this expedited or refunded ASAP and they finally refunded it. After I've already started to pay interest on my purchase. This company did not call me when they did do the refund or tell me which they were gonna go with zero communication skills zero customer service skills. What an utterly abysmal company. Their customer service is for all intents and purposes non-existent. I ordered a $2000 AVR from them... it shows in my account as ordered and charged to my account, but they use a comically siilly tracking service with SHOP as opposed to FedEx or UPS. Well SHOP tracking doesn't show any real tracking info at all, it only shows when something has been delivered. So my order is basically drifting in the wind somewhere. Now here's THE WORST PART: You can't actually call a human being at Audio Advice. Calling their customer service number lands you in an "answering service" who doesn't know the first thing about your order, but they assure that someone from Audio Advice will call you back...... I have now gone that route three times for this order and NOT A SOUL HAS CALLED BACK. Nowwwwwwwww, I find out that the receiver I ordered and was charged for WAS NEVER ACTUALLY IN STOCK. An all around terrible experience with this company. I have no idea why I did not see the writing on the wall when I had so much difficulty finding a gift card on the website, and then trying to get customer service on the phone to help guide me. Nobody is ever available, they'll take your number and you may get a call back 9 hours later. Then the process of buying the gift card was confusing and unclear, I never got a confirmation of where it was sent and my gift card recipient still has not received it. Oh, and I can't get anyone on the phone to find out what is going on. I am so embarrassed that this gift card has yet to show up that I'm about to eat the $500, buy another gift card from Music Direct or Crutchfield and fight with Audio Advice for a refund. I'd also be embarrassed if my gift card recipient ever had to engage with this company if he had a problem or question with his order. Some businesses should just run their brick and mortar locations and not overextend by going online. This is one. I will never buy from them again. read more

This is a review for an online purchase. The website was clean, easy to deal with, and the staff were friendly to communicate with. There was a misunderstanding around the return fees that they ultimately worked out with me (and sales team was very responsive). In the age of online ordering it's easy to forget that when you return to businesses they can no longer sell it as new. But you should understand some purchases are subject to return shipping or restocking, and their shipping charges can be high from returns. Strongly recommend you talk with their sales team to understand more of the specifics before buying something that you even have a small chance of returning. Other than that I will be talking with them more for future purchases for my home theater setup. read more

I was so excited that we drove here to pick up a blue ray player my husband was searching for. We got the Oppo player because of the quality, but also how helpful and honest Mike was that helped us. He answered all of our questions and had it ready for us when we arrived. I loved how organized the interior was with set ups ranging from kitchens and living rooms to different theater rooms. Each had something unique to offer. I like seeing things set up like at home to help your vision come to life too. It's not always bad when things go wrong. I purchased a Peachtree 220SE from Audio Advice. Was happy until I got sizzle sound from one side of the amp. Dustin from Audio Advice actually came to my house to check out the problem. In less than 30 seconds he said "that's not right" and ask me to bring it to the store. I didn't have the original box and he said that was fine. When I dropped it off I was given another Peachtree Amp to use during repairs. I was called 3 weeks later to pick it up and then 10 minutes later they said it wasn't ready and I would be getting another call. So I called Dustin to find out the details, he said it had been dropped during shipping and wasn't notice before the first call. Dustin said there was some discussions but he did not feel comfortable sending it for repairs not knowing if there were internal damage that would show up later. I received a brand new 220SE in the box. The sound is awesome. Its only when bad things go wrong that you can truly measure the integrity of a salesman and an organization. Dustin is the best.
