Minus the fact is was hot as the devils home . My son enjoyed himself, he loved feeding the animals and. He loved his pony ride ! Once it's not killer hot we will definitely be back! The owner and staff are super kind and friendly ! It's small farm but for 10.00 a pop it's worth it .

We were surprised to see the newest residents, capybaras that arrived only two weeks ago. We could have spent the entire day watching the playful antics of the adorable capybaras playing in the water and also on land. Another favorite were the kangaroos. A baby Joey was in and out of his mother's pouch. Adorable and so much fun to watch. The driving part was truly an experience. Our vehicle was approached by llamas, zebras, buffalo, and deer seeking food from the buckets we had purchased in the gift shop. The animals roam freely throughout the hundreds of acres. The camels tried to grab the entire bucket of food! We had to hold the buckets tightly while they ate from them. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful, happy to discuss the various animals. The entire experience was very educational. We spent several hours here and truly would have enjoyed staying the entire day if we could have, but had previously scheduled another engagement. We want to return and bring other friends along for the experience.

Fed all sorts of animals from the car and in a walking area where they are behind fences. The animals are friendly but on the greedy side so they will snatch the feeding bucket out of your hand! Be prepared to get your car dirty as well as yourself. A great event for the family.

Alabama Safari Park - Come eye-to-eye with the park's tallest residents and even feel their tongues as the giraffes take romaine leaves from your hand.

This park is amazing! Been to parks all around the US and some in Europe and many were awesome but…read morethis one is for all ages. Beautiful green grass at least in the spring. Nice bathrooms which for a busy Saturday was pretty well maintained and clean. Love the bench swings- sweet for 2 but big enough for a family of 4. Swings could be raised a little higher so feet don't drag. The piece de la resistance!!!!! The huge slide with the ropes to climb up on "designed for 5-12. 5 May be a bit young but it's nice to have a challenge for older kids (of all ages). There are so many plastic playscapes around the country that are "designed" for 5-12 whet a 9 year old won't be caught seen by their friends in it because it's a "baby thing". This was refreshing to see! Plus for so long our kids have been bubble wrapped and told to be careful we have decades of millions of wimps around. So nice to have a challenge! Good for development physically and mentally! Thank you TUSCALOOSA! Question... when and how do you access the parking lots. They were closed off which initially led me to believe it was a private park.
