I visited this Tuscany Liquor the day before Cinco De Mayo and I am glad I did. I popped by on a whim and found the two items I was looking for. Sadly for someone else, I got the last box of the popular Cantaritos by Jarritos. I noticed the negative reviews this place has received. It seems to be directed at a man that works there. I did not have any such problem. If anything the woman behind the register went the extra steps to make sure I was happy. She looked for more cases of Cantaritos for me and made small talk. Went to this stores few times the day crew is very nice. I recently visited last evening I bought something for $15.99 and a regular bottle of soda why was he charging me $20.94? Has soda gone up? Or is he (the night guy) charging extra? Are their prices different? Like literally Day and night . And just for some who may ask or wonder also why is this night guy so rude (I'm not sure) but have noticed you have to look straight in his face to tell him what you want (I think he reads lips) made my communication with him easier but in all due respect it doesn't give reason for price gouging. Terrible customer service. I went in on Sunday at 2.15pm the man at the counter ignored me at first. Finally he came over and I asked politely for a guava citrus vape pen black with blue and yellow cap. He said, no I do not have it...with out checking. I went to the car and got the brand name and he still said...no. do not have... so my daughter went in and he miraculously had it. Ageism? He was very rude. read more

So I'm on the way to visit the in-laws when my kids ask if we can stop to get a drink. My 7yr old daughter then busts out into song (imagine hearing Queen's "We Will Rock You" chant), "We..Are....We...Are...Thisty!" stomp, stomp , clap....stomp, stomp, clap What?!?! She must be watching too much sports with me. Anyway, we come to a corner with a bunch of fast food joints and an everyday liquor store, just before hitting the freeway. I decided it'd be just cheaper to pick up a 2 liter from the store and fill up their travel cups(and mine) for the ride ahead. Now I don't like to bring my kids into these places because there's a good chance they can knock something over. They may even stumble across the porn mags on the rack and frankly, I don't want to spend my drive explaining the birds and the bees. But it's either bring 'em in for a couple minutes or leave them in the car....You know I'm bringing them in! So I proceeded as planned. With no hesitation, we headed straight for the fridge, grabbed a 2liter of soda and got behind a guy waiting to pay at the register. The cashier dude came out of nowhere and greeted the guy in front of me with a smile as he paid for his candy bar. I'm thinking, "hey, this guy seems chill." It came to my turn and I said, "hows it going?" The dudes smile turned into a frown for some reason. Then he was looking at the ceiling and started spitting words out in some language as I paid the total(seriously!). I don't know who he was talking to because there was no one else I could see in the store. My kids got all scared and huddled behind my legs. I got my change and hurried the heck outta there. WTF was that all about?!? I was thinking he was like mad for bringing my kids in but he wasn't even looking or talking directly to me. Whatever it was, I'm not comin' back to that exorcist talkin crap. The dudes head might spin around next time. If I ever have to stop again for the same reason, I'll just keep driving until I find a gas station with a mini mart or 7-11. Lesson learned. They gotta get rid of that guy at night. He sat there looking at me from a chair, and on the phone all loud. I stood at the counter for 10 freakin mins, and i was calling him, and he just ignored me. He is consistently rude. There was another guy that was taking out trash, but he was already outside. He was prob expecting me to wait. What a jerk! Always seems drugged out. The lady and man in the morning are nice though. Gah they need to get rid that night guy. I just wanted to buy 2 bottles of whiskey, and he couldnt get up? Well i could of just stole anything. I have only been here twice, today being my second visit. I wish I got the name of the kind woman working today! She was friendly and she helped me find what I wanted. It's funny because she rung me up during my first visit to this place as well! I don't know how the other employees are but she seems like a good worker for sure. Had a pretty normal liquor store experience here. After reading the reviews from a few years ago I was hesitant to stop. Glad I did though because it was very convenient and they do have a decent selection of craft beer. Definitely would return. read more

If I could give this place a ZERO I would !! Whoever is behind the counter is always rude , one day I went in and the freaking guy was sleeping behind the counter if I was a thief I could have robbed him blind !! I couldn't believe it ..it took about 10 minutes for him to wake up I was throwing gum and candy at him and still would not wake up !! Finally he wakes up from his nap and acts like nothing is wrong. .crazy!! Please dont spend your hard earned money at such a crappy establishment! read more

Only place in Elsinore I've seen that houses GOOD craft brews from the likes of Pizza Port and Stone. They've also got a huge collection of hard liquor and various specialty sodas and such. The prices are typical of a liquor store and are actually posted on the beers themselves. The owner, I presume because he is always working, is a weird dude without an ounce of social skills but it doesn't seem personal from what I can tell. He gives you your booze and you give him money no shitty chit chat in-between. read more

Beware of this store charging you extra, ask for the receipt! Okay, yes they are always rude. But steal money from my pocket, I will never come here again. They charged me extra and when I asked for the receipt it was a while different drink. Then they said "it's same price" but the label was clearly marked with a different price. Just a very horrible rude store. read more
