I'm taking the time today to write this review because I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for taking care of my little boy for 3 yrs now. It's his birthday and when we showed up, his classroom had personalized decorations up by the teachers in his room. Most days he asked for us to leave him there during pickup because he enjoys his environment. This isn't just with hai current teachers and classroom, but all previous ones in the past from newborn through current. He has grown and is so smart specifically because of the exposure and experiences that he gets with Tutor Time. I can't express how the family feel here is outstanding. Each teacher throughout the whole facility knows our son and his name and was excited to now expect our newest addition to our family, our baby daughter. Just like anything, the more time you invest the better any situation outcome becomes. This is where you want to send your kid! What can I say? This is a great group of dedicated teachers who care for the safety and well being of the children. My 6 month old baby has been going there since it was possible for him to start attending and I could not be happier. Obviously, in the beginning I was a bit apprehensive about letting, not just them, but ANYBODY care for my baby, but over time, they have proven that they are more than capable AND they genuinely care for my baby. I can't help but feel a little jealous when I bring my baby to them and his face just lights up with happiness when he sees the teachers. If it was possible, I would keep my baby with me at all times, but since it is not, there's no other group of people I would rather trust with my baby with. read more

I cannot recommend Tutor Time in Castaic enough. We have had at least one child enrolled here for the last 5 years. The staff is so welcoming and provide such a positive environment for the children. As a working parent, knowing you are dropping your kids off with people who are going to love and care for them is everything you hope for. The director and assistant director, Rubi and Cesalie, always greet you with a smile and plan amazing family events. Even at 630 in the morning, the teachers get excited to see your kids and provide them with so much comfort. Where do I begin? I am an ECE major and worked in a preschool setting. I started at CoC and in both Saugus and Sulphur Springs preschool programs. I was not too thrilled with Tutor Time at first. I heard rumors about a couple of locations. When my second child was born and I had to go back to work, I had to find a center that took my daughter at a young age close to home. I will admit I wasn't too sure about it, but I got to know the teachers and saw that my daughter was loved and well taken care of. It changed my mind, and I am truly grateful for these educators. I would like to start off by saying that the thought of putting my child in daycare terrified me. However, Tutor Time definitely changed my view of daycare. When I was pregnant with my second child I started looking into possibilities for daycare for my two-year-old because my mom (who had been taking care of him at home) expressed that taking care of two kids would be very difficult for her. When I took a tour of the place I felt right at home. The place was very clean everyone was very friendly. My son has benefited so much from being at Tutor Time and they made me feel very comfortable and confident in leaving my son there. A few months after my son was attending tutor time I was faced with having to enroll my second son of only five months in the infants room at Tutor Time . I was very scared at having my baby in a daycare setting but now I look back and laugh at that fear because my son has developed so well there. From sensory play/learning to cuddling, I know my child is loved and well cared for. They take the time to get to know what he likes vs dislikes and that is something that truly touches my heart. The attention and care that my two boys get it at Tutor Time is priceless. I love knowing that my boys will have a day filled with play, learning, exploring, resting, healthy eating and so much more! I will be honest and say that if it wasn't for Tutor Time I wouldn't have all the cute crafts my boys made because I am not creative enough to do so many of the things they have done. Only giving them 4 stars because our son has only been going for a month. So far I am very happy with their service. Although my son cry's at drop off, I know it only last a few minutes and they are more then helpful at soothing him once I leave. Child to caretaker ratio is good, food is healthy, outdoor play areas are well kept. Staff is very welcoming and attentive. read more

I asked the "Aid" why and she said in broken English " I told her she had to nap and she wanted to play" I told her " She doesn't nap and her " teacher knows this" . Plus I'm picking her up why would you put her to sleep when I'm picking her up in 10 min. 2nd - Every time I picked her up she either was saturated or poop in her diaper. I mean really?? Its caked to her sore Bum! They know what time I'm coming, Check her!!! 3rd- I picked up my daughter and as I was putting her in the car I noticed her pants were almost dry with urine!!! She was in it for such a long time the jean material and fuzz was stuck on her skin! I was furious. Unacceptable 4th- it's a daycare where we were looking for more educational. 5th-I was there at 2 separate 0ccations and I heard the "Aid" with the trach yelling at the children 1-" to go to sleep' and 2 to " go potty!" She didn't notice I was there and I was very upset with this and decided our child will not be going here. 6th- I never received my daughters daily reviews till a week later. Isn't it law to have the review of the day when you pick up you child? 7th my daughter would not enter a room if one specific lady was in there...it worried me. She NEVER was like that...it got to a point that something was sitting right and I pulled her out. Don't get me wrong there are some very nice people in this facility but it wasn't for us. I'm not a fan that their "teachers" are not educated with Master degrees. It's a glorified daycare. I guess we didn't understand the way it worked. read more

We've had nothing but a great experience here with their early Preschool. Staff is friendly, flexible, and accommodating. Child to teacher ratio is great. Our daughter loves her teacher (Ms. Desiree), and the Brightwheel app they use is great (they give you updates and photos of your child throughout the day). read more

My daughter has been attending Tutor time since she was 5mos. She absolutely loves all the ladies here. Although I was very skeptical about putting her in a childcare, I had no choice I have to work! That's one thing that has always worried me..is who will take care of my kids that I can trust while we're at work. But you can rest assure your child will be loved and well educated at Tutor time. Tutor Time is the most amazing place for my daughter to come for after school care. I hesitated for many years in putting my daughter in after school care relying on family members for picking up after school. Now my daughter gets her homework done, she has time to play games with friends, she rehearses new dance routines, all with the support and loving guidance from Mrs Nicki the most fabulous teacher in the world. The other thing I like is that Mrs Nicki is like a peer counselor in the way she helps the children relate to each other, doesn't allow children to be picked on or pick on the others. Today I wrote my review and for whatever reason Yelp does not want to allow it! If people are trying to review places and get helpful information then why not allow the post's be allowed by everyone? I chose this school for many reasons and stability was one of them. My son has been at the Tutor Time in Castaic for a year now and I have seen him grow in many ways with his teachers Ms. Kendra, Ms. Rachel and staff. I too have grown and created a bond with his teachers and staff along with the assistant director Ms. Alicia whom I think has a heart of gold and love for her job and the children. Because of them I have made MANY donations to this school. (Summer time fun, school parties, etc. Well that will stop as of now!). Since this past year, I have seen many teachers, staff and directors come and go like a revolving door which makes me extremely uncomfortable considering the fact that this is a school that is suppose to provide a stable environment for our children (well that is what I was told when I originally toured the school), yet how can you stand by your word and provide "stability" when all corporate seems to care about is themselves. Yesterday I just learned that the assistant director, Ms. Alicia is being transferred to another school. That will now make it 4 directors and 1 assistant director gone in just one year! I can't understand how corporate would even consider transferring anyone at this time during the school year. My son already has an issue with change and for this to continue to keep happening has me really concerned and I am seriously thinking about removing him from this school and put him in a more stable environment where there is better structure! The sad thing is that my son has gained and grown close with his friends and gets along with everyone. Unless corporate doesn't want to change their ways, you child/children along with yourself will constantly see new teachers, staff and directors! read more

MY KIDS LOVE CASTAIC TUTOR TIME! They have been with Tutor Time for over 8 years now. Our journey began when my first born was 2.5 years old. Like many new mothers, I was hesitant to leave my toddler in an unfamiliar facility with complete strangers. I visited a few daycare centers in Santa Clarita. All the programs and curriculum looked impressive on paper, but it really depends on the staff and teachers to connect with and motivate the kids. We chose Castaic Tutor Time because my child showed the most interest in the Twaddler teacher and her classroom. Through the years, we've gotten to know and trust the staff and teachers. The programs effectively prepared my kids for the academic and social transition into grade school. I would like to praise Ms. Nicki for making learning interesting and engaging as well as providing guidance in social behavioral challenges. My kids look forward to be in her classroom everyday after school. Best of all, they would finish all their homework before I pick them up after work. During the summer break, my kids enjoy Tutor Time's Summer Camp which is always full of educational and fun activities/field trips. read more

This is a GREAT Place. My children are so happy, and the staff and managers are so nice. My children have learned a lot and there are so many activities that the children do. With a busy work schedule this past year I had no choice to enroll my son at Tutor Time. It's not the best place around and he didn't seem to like it that much. Thankfully the school year is over and I don't think I will enroll him next year. read more

This daycare was at one time great with an amazing director and staff. I felt very comfortable leaving my children there. Then the amazing director became ill and had to take some time off. It has been downhill from there. After some time the organization replaced her (yes what a great organization you have a life threatening illness so when you get well you need to find a new job) and there has become a revolving door of staff. I rarely know who my kids teacher is for the day much less which class she will be in when drop her off or pick her up. It is so hard to encourage her to attend school when there is no consistency there. In the past I have recommended this program to others but no longer, how can a school hold on to good teachers when it clearly does not care about the health and well being of its employees. To top it off the school feels that they are worth raising rates at least 2x a year. So with no consistency and no curriculum they feel they are comparable to other programs in the area and they are not even close. There are a few amazing teachers there who are the ONLY reason my kids still attend for now so I do want to give them two stars for that but a couple good teachers do not make an entire school worth the rediculious price for glorified babysitting. My kids deserve more and so do yours look elsewhere for quality childcare. read more
