My children experienced blatant favoritism, where the same students were constantly given opportunities while others were overlooked, no matter how hard they worked. The class leveling is a complete mess, students with vastly different skill levels are lumped together, making it impossible for anyone to truly progress. When their regular instructor is unavailable, the kids are often taught by high school students who are given too much power in this school. While these students are lovely, it feels more like I'm paying for babysitting rather than a real dance education. I believe this is closely tied to the owner's lack of maturity, which affects their ability to run a business and hire qualified dance instructors. The instructors rarely provide meaningful feedback to help students improve, leaving them to guess what they need to work on. The "highest ranking" ballet teacher who is also good friends with the owner, is extremely condescending and rude to anyone who isn't one of their favorites. More so, the teachers are immature and not properly trained, and openly discuss students with other students, which is completely unprofessional and damaging to young dancers' confidence. The schedule is never provided in a timely manner and constantly fluctuates, leaving parents at the mercy of the school's availability rather than allowing for proper planning. We were constantly told the schedule is coming out on X date, registration is coming on X date and this rarely happens and is usually delayed weeks. If you truly want your child to learn proper dance technique, and grow as a dancer, look elsewhere--this school is more about instagram than an actual dance education.

He takes tap, ballet and hip hop classes along with a boys only ballet class!! This has allowed our son to grow as a dancer and learn partnering. He loves the teacher which is great because keeping a group of young boys moving isn't easy! He recently performed in his first show at Studio 9 and it was a first class production. The complex includes the Mainstage Theater, an intimate proscenium stage with 534 seats, a spacious art gallery plus extensive wall space for art display in the theater lobby, a 3,000 square foot event room, and the beautiful west terrace which has access to both the theater lobby and the event room. The classroom wing includes a dance studio, two creative studios, and two discovery labs. Parker Arts runs an extensive program of theatrical performances, art shows, and classes. All parts of the complex are available for rental for events from weddings to business conferences. There is a large parking lot in front of the building and a parking ramp is under construction (May 2025) just to the east.

The establishment is located in a plaza that can get busy during peak evening hours, mainly, due to the daycare centers. My suggestion is to always turn right out of the plaza and go to the Parker Rd light during those times. It's less of a headache in the long run. Within the facility, there is an office or two, bathrooms, and a cubby area for belongings. The studio itself is nice. It's a medium-sized room with two walls occupied by full-length mirrors and a window respectively. It's comfortable right now (only referring to Zumba) but I can see the need for an additional Zumba time each day, in the near future, if more bodies show up & decide to become regulars. The class was lead by Keith, the owner of the studio and it was high energy. Keith is engaging, full of stamina, entertaining, and an interactive instructor. He can use an assistant to help him juggle various tasks in between classes (i.e. greeting, punching cards, questions, liability release, etc) but he manages. The playlist was non-stop, the music had great rhythm, beats, and sound (thanks to his new subwoofer:)), and the class was full. The class schedule seems to be organized well, offering one of each class available, at least, once a day including weekends. The class times were recently adjusted but seem to work well for most 9 to 5ers. He also has several trial and/or discount offers out there. I look forward to continuing the Zumba classes lead by Keith and the other instructors and eventually working into the other classes available. The studio is also offering virtual classes now so I'm excited to experience that. The good news, is that the training is pretty decent, and the instructors are knowledgeable. And…read morethat is where the good ends. The facility is cramped and not real welcoming, tucked away behind another business in a more industrial area. Really a pretty poor location. This could be over looked by the decent training. What cannot be over looked is the ridiculous contract. It is very tightly written with exceptions that are almost impossible to use if you get injured or move. I wanted to change my membership based on how far away I live. Owner claimed he couldn't because he didn't have enough members. If a $50 change in one membership has a detrimental effect on your business you have bigger problems. He also claimed there was no out to the contract, and best I could do was transfer it to someone else, and acted like he was doing me a favor. He later offered to lower my membership but at this point there was no way I was supporting a dishonest business like this. I did buy you my contract at a significant discount. I did this because it is not worth the cost and stress to fight it. I should have read the contract more closely (having a physical copy would have been a plus) and I should have chosen the lower cost option, but the owner should have been more willing to work with me. The goal of a business like this is to keep members, and not working with your members (within reason) is not a way to keep members. Learn from my mistake, and don't sign a contract.

Rob helped me realize that the soreness and tightness I was feeling (especially after having three kids) wasn't something I just had to live with. His approach is super personal, and even over virtual sessions, he has this ability to notice little movement patterns and imbalances I didn't know existed. The exercises he gives are simple but so effective. And as a mom, I really appreciate how flexible and accommodating he is. He's totally understanding when my schedule gets crazy, and even included my baby in a few sessions during nap strikes. Plus, his voice is so calming--I always end our sessions feeling relaxed and reset. Can't recommend him enough!

I have benefited from Rob's care for almost two years now. It began when I hurt my back digging in…read morethe yard and found myself stuck and in pain, unable to get off of the floor. He was recommended to me by my mother who has been a long time client of his. Rob was kind enough to remote in with me and get me on my feet again and out of pain. Since then, we have been working together every two weeks and fixing a lifetime of poor mobility and function.
