The Grand Entry Hall is a soaring lobby that can accomodate private events and is the main display space for art shows. There is also an Event Hall that opens to the outdoor Terrace Theater. Concessions available are beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, and snacks. The facility is really quite spectacular. I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. The Arts Center has a busy schedule of theatrical and musical events that are presented in the Main Stage and Terrace theaters. There is also a regular schedule of art exhibits. This is a well-designed complex that offers many reasons to visit for those with an interest in many areas of the arts.

Events hosted by the Alzheimer's Association for families and loved ones? THE COOLEST! SO much opportunity! The website highlights the various shows, events and happenings at the Arts Center and each one is carefully curated, offered to everyone and at a low cost. The theater itself is huge, well maintained and offers levels of seating - perfect at any view. Staff is beyond friendly, welcoming and smiley each and every time! The PACE (Parker Arts, Culture, and Events) Center is the City of Parker's main cultural complex…read more It is managed by Parker Arts and is just a block east of downtown Parker, right off Mainstreet. The complex includes the Mainstage Theater, an intimate proscenium stage with 534 seats, a spacious art gallery plus extensive wall space for art display in the theater lobby, a 3,000 square foot event room, and the beautiful west terrace which has access to both the theater lobby and the event room. The classroom wing includes a dance studio, two creative studios, and two discovery labs. Parker Arts runs an extensive program of theatrical performances, art shows, and classes. All parts of the complex are available for rental for events from weddings to business conferences. There is a large parking lot in front of the building and a parking ramp is under construction (May 2025) just to the east.

My children experienced blatant favoritism, where the same students were constantly given opportunities while others were overlooked, no matter how hard they worked. The class leveling is a complete mess, students with vastly different skill levels are lumped together, making it impossible for anyone to truly progress. When their regular instructor is unavailable, the kids are often taught by high school students who are given too much power in this school. While these students are lovely, it feels more like I'm paying for babysitting rather than a real dance education. I believe this is closely tied to the owner's lack of maturity, which affects their ability to run a business and hire qualified dance instructors. The instructors rarely provide meaningful feedback to help students improve, leaving them to guess what they need to work on. The "highest ranking" ballet teacher who is also good friends with the owner, is extremely condescending and rude to anyone who isn't one of their favorites. More so, the teachers are immature and not properly trained, and openly discuss students with other students, which is completely unprofessional and damaging to young dancers' confidence. The schedule is never provided in a timely manner and constantly fluctuates, leaving parents at the mercy of the school's availability rather than allowing for proper planning. We were constantly told the schedule is coming out on X date, registration is coming on X date and this rarely happens and is usually delayed weeks. If you truly want your child to learn proper dance technique, and grow as a dancer, look elsewhere--this school is more about instagram than an actual dance education.

Students at the studio are welcoming and really make you feel part of the group right away. You can learn any partner dance (foxtrot, waltz, salsa, country, etc) and it doesn't matter if you want to come without a partner. There are private lessons, group lessons, and structured practice opportunities. The pricing structure lets you take on only what you want and the intro package is a great way to start.

Not so into the stage costumes myself and a little old...now. That's why I bounced. BUT solid dance instruction for those so inclined, or more realistically, for your daughter to realize dreams that you didn't.
