I really enjoyed their summer reading program they offered this year for adults. My biggest complaint is with a few of the staff members. There are a few staff who are very rude and unhelpful. A few times I asked an older gentleman for help and he quickly responded in a rude matter, saying I can't help you. He wouldn't even try to ask a colleague or attempt to help me. I finally found a different librarian and they had to remedy the situation and teach their colleague the process. On the other hand, there are many librarians who are very friendly and helpful, but it doesn't go for everyone. In addition, they are very quick to accuse you of damaging books. The smallest tear or stain requires you to pay a large fine to replace the book. There is something called wear and tear that happens when books are lent out to people and that's the reality of a library. Overall, I am happy with the library and appreciate the resources.

I went in here a few times- one to read some books, and they had some great Arthur books by the children section. They do also host kids events at the library, as well as events like movies under the stars for the summer. Now, as I had a library card for this location, I really haven't used the library. Oh tho- my mom used the library for wifi when our power was out, and she said it was good, and quiet. Again though, I had a library card but didn't really use it. Think one time I was looking for Percy Jackson books and they didn't have it, and was a tween then. Anyways. Went here recently (note 3 stars) on Wednesday July 23rd 2025 because we were moving soon, and I had books and VHS tapes to donate. When I got there, they said no, we don't accept donations-- which i thought was kind of weird. After all, especially if they are vintage books that can still be applicable, donations should be considered. While the person who told me was pleasant and understanding- i just thought it was kind of weird.Again, having books, especially vintage ones may be of interest of have because then others would read them- like if their parents read this book, they might borrow the book for their kids. Now the books ending up going to a goodwill instead. At least i tried!

The library provides a comfortable atmosphere for these types of gatherings, can accommodate food and drink, and plenty of parking. I live close by and among the public libraries around, this is definitely my favorite. The main reading area has 4 tables that seat 4 people as well as a couple of couches. Each table has outlets, so you can plug in your laptop and do work/study easily. Wifi is free and has excellent speed! There are also individual rooms with tables that seat about 4 as well. The best thing about this library is that is has natural lighting throughout. This makes it a very good place to spend the entire day studying/working. The natural sunlight keeps the place nice and bright, unlike many libraries that have a dark and dull atmosphere. I really do believe the lighting helps with focus and mood, making it a great place to study! I choose this place over other public libraries as well as coffee shops in the area. It has a great overall atmosphere and I recommend it for all people trying to get work/studying done.
