Asked around and Bill's Heating and A/C was recommended. When I advised of the issue that my heater was not working they walked me through a few steps over the phone to test it and schedule an appointment for first thing in the am. They actually called the same day and advised they had an opening end of day and sent a technician over! I was elated to get same day service. After he diagnosed the unit he advised it was the control board and the unit was only 5 years old. Walking me through warranty info on that particular unit, he advised I call the company that installed the unit to verify if they will still honor the warranty as they are usually 10 years. I thought his honesty to have me call the original company first was the kind of customer service I am looking for. After he left I called the original company that installed and found out their service call is $20 more than Bill's, has a wait until Monday so that is 6 days and cannot tell me anything about what the warranty covers without the tech coming by. Bill's is 100% where I will keep my business and refer others!
